Snow & Trees? LMFAO We had some fresh 50 clown come out with this cracker in a game a few days ago, obviously thought he was pro.... To be totally honest, I cant say Ive noticed which side has more snow or trees, because I'm usually too busy looking at the following, when out of combat: A: The minimap B: The direction of the enemy spawn C: The health of my ops group D: The chat box I'm sure the scenery in the Alderaan pvp area is lovely, but unfortunately I'm always far too busy to notice it. But seriously, If people cant differentiate between left and right or east and west, then theyre ultimately stupid. This "Snow/Trees" thing is just too funny.

Sorry, is 5-10m spotting range not large enough? Stealthers are easy to find in the end zone and with two of you, you can find and deal with them with little fuss. Its not an issue for someone with half a brain.

Suspected stealther in your end zone? Patrol the End zone, move back and forth until you find him. Not too complicated is it....

Wow, another whine thread about bracketing. Stage 1: Whiners whined because they had to fight level 50s. Stage 2: Bioware introduced a level 1-49 bracket because of the "Expertise advantage" Stage 3: Whiners whine because they had to fight higher level players in general Stage 4: Bioware add more brackets. Stage 5: Whiners whine because they have to fight against different classes.... woah. Stage 6: Bioware finally grow a set of balls and tell the whiners to get a grip and stop whining.

And theres no reason why real world sport should allow people to use stealth generators....

Youre either still twirling about in the 1-49 bracket or youve never seen someone who is even half decent with a Marauder/Sentinel.

The stealth issue was the only real problem, I wouldnt have cared if they nerfed it so it didnt count towards medals too. Agree 100% though m8, they slaughtered it and minced it, when all they needed to do was give it a slight trim.

Dont let these EVE fanbois waste your valuable time. Once upon a time EVE PvP was fantastic and the best on offer in any MMO, but now its worse that it has ever been. I used to be able to go roaming solo or in a small gang, taking on superior numbers and winning against the odds. Now, when you try to do that you get hotdropped by 50 MOMs. Eve is now all about who brought the most logi or Ewar, and even in small roaming gangs now (20 ish) youll see at least 4 logi and the same in EWAR (Imagine Logi as healers and EWAR as crowd controllers). There used to be a real variation to fleet compositions once upon a time, but now its the same stuff in nearly every fleet (Machs, pests etc etc) and its boring. Eve PvP is a shadow of its former self and not worth touching with a ****** stick imo.

So they add greater variety to faction vs faction WZs, meaning shorter queue times for those having trouble, and youre complaining? It is a positive step, so quit complaining.

Oh I forgot about Expertise. Youll gain quite a bit of expertise from Centurion pieces and theyre very easy to get now the changes have come in. People will tell you Centurion gear is pointless, but theyre talking out of their backsides. Centurion gear is now a great option for fresh 50s, the stats arent amazing but theyre easily on par with most lv50 purple drops (Not including Columi/Rakata). However, you get the all important Expertise and a full set of Centurion will net you roughly 500+ expertise, which equates to roughly a 10% bonus in PvP. Two equally skilled/classed players in pvp, one in Tionese, one in Centurion, is a straight forward outcome. The guy in Centurion will win. The big step up in pvp gear is to Champion, that gear makes a much bigger difference. But a guy in full Centurion gear does indeed stand a chance against a guy in Champion gear, it wouldnt be an easy fight, but its more than winnable. BM gear isnt a huge upgrade over Champion, but its still worth doing.

For starters, good job on collecting the 1000/1000. A lot of scrubs who come on here dont bother, they just whine about how they want free stuff. The best advice I can give is this: Open your first 6 bags, that will give you 42 Champion Commendations and 90 Centurion commendations. Save the Champion commendations up until you can buy the Champion mainhand imo, as that badboy gives a major upgrade to anything you can find elsewhere (unless you think you can easily gain a Columi or Rakata wep, but I doubt it). Then start on the armor pieces after that. Use the 90 Centruion commendations to buy two major armor pieces (39 each) and you will take your first steps into PvP with your 2 piece set bonus and 84 Expertise. Then after that you should run your Ilum/Belsavis dailies and collect the 2 purple mods off those, plus 160k roughly. Use the cash to buy mods or gear off the GTN and you should be looking reasonably ok for lv50 PvP. Nice one for coming on here and actually asking for advice. Most people on here in your shoes just turn up and whine "I want mah champ gear now brah".

Why so bothered? 1 commendation per vote is a pittance anyway.

Lets get this right: Players who "Start" the match and leave, should get a deserter debuff. Players who "Join" then leave a match that is already underway, should not get a deserter debuff. I would be fine with that personally, but I do agree with the OP that you should not be punished for leaving a game, if you just joined to find your team 5-0 down with 10 mins to go.

If you claim at least 50 comms a WZ (Which you should, even if you lose) you should be able to buy at least 1 Champ bag per day, and youll need 10 champ bags to buy a major piece of Champ gear. My advice: Join a pvp guild and get better.

lol, they make the system easier for you and people still whine. This was always going to happen. You have to be level 50 to open champ bags, deal with it.

You get zero Valour for an MVP vote, and you get 1 commendation. This was pretty much confirmed on day 1, so dont get too excited about MVP as atm its pretty much worthless. I'm sorry to say it, but this is fact.

Yeah, this is pretty advanced stuff which would take a lot of time to implement. Some very nice ideas however. The changes I listed above are just stuff to make Ilum more fun in the short term. Theyre not monumental changes and I'm sure they could be implemented within a month or so. Your longer term model is interesting though.
