  1. Didn't take long for the first Eeyore to show up.
  2. I think the core question here is, and I'm sorry if this will seem like a time travel 7-8 months back in time, but: How much is NCSoft and ArenaNet paying this Leif Johnson character?...
  3. Well, it's a big difference I'd say. We weren't really under-populated before, but the 80-90ish number we had on the fleet before the transfers is now a normal number on Coruscant. Good times.
  4. OP, I'm kinda jealous! Go play KotOR and experience that homicidal maniac for the first time. The game is avaliable for PC. It's a great Star Wars adventure. Actually, just reading this thread kinda put me in the mood to boot it up again myself...
  5. The only time that line comes up is when the loading screen is directly followed by a cutscene, am I right? I don't see a huge need for it at other times, personally.
  6. I'd say people seem to be quite sensitive to the opposite idea aswell.
  7. While you are entitled to your opinion of course, the Cathar species is rather established in the Star Wars lore and one of them even played a fairly big role in the original KotOR. I personally am glad to see them included. I like 'em. And lazy names? Ephant Mon anyone?
  8. Welcome to The Progenitor, people from Shaltin Tunnels
  9. Since Bioware likes to talk about "fantasies", I too hope that they will keep the current space feature as the "Millenium Falcon fantasy" and that the new iteration will be the "X-Wing fantasy" Dogfighting. Come on now.
  10. Here: Link A bit better? Edit: And some more... Link
  11. TTH: Will there be additional space combat missions in 1.3 or will there be new space combat model overall (such as free-form space combat)? How will multiplayer space combat be handled? Daniel: New space missions are on their way but not for 1.3 and new space combat models are something we’re deep in the prototype stages on but nothing we can talk about yet.
  12. Couple of quotes to add to the speculation: Link
  13. Well, you didn't. I thought it was good and well-written critique, and I might have commented on it, but got distracted by your name calling, which in turn led me to derail the thread even further...
  14. Alright, sorry about the "keep at it". I'm sure you're right, can't be arsed to wade through your posts. So, why do you call people "blinder wearing fanboys" then?
  15. Pfft, you can write a well thought out and constructive post about how you enjoy TOR and that the developers are doing a great job, and within seconds it's swarmed with hate posts and people trying to take it down. I'm sure you'd be in there aswell. Stop trying to act so friggin' superior. "Blinder-wearing fanboys"... People being this full of themselves and the ridiculous name calling is just fueling the anger on these forums. You know it, and that's why you keep at it I assume. I agree, the OP made a good post. I agree with some of it.
  16. What do you want people to do about it? Bye, Ravenhurst. Have a good one.
  17. Seriously. The vid says "coming this year". The level raise could come close to that 12 month mark of yours. And every 6 months? Where are you getting this?
  18. They said that in the presentation? The vid says, coming this year.
  19. Every 6 months? First off, the level cap won't come out now as I understand it. And why not just wait and see if they'll raise it every 6 months after they release the first one before getting too worked up about it?
  20. It's not a requirement to be excited about the features above. If you're not, so be it. I thought it looked great.
  21. So? It's been heavily requested. Sweet news.
  22. Hi, let me continue with: I know, why? No, I don't neccessarily want what SWG did since some of those campsites were ridiculous (I mastered Ranger so I've witnessed them all). You might have missed my "fluff" comment at the start, and to me some "fluff" is always good. Not everything have to fill a huge role or have a solid point in a game, mechanics-wise.
  23. Alright, this would definitely go under the "fluff" category, but I'd really like to see the ability to put up small personal camps and shelters in TOR. I'm thinking Luke's camp on the Dagobah crash site or Han's snow digging in The Empire Strikes Back, when Luke passed out in the Tauntaun intestines. Personally I'd mostly want them for the "feel" and roleplay values I think it could bring, but perhaps they could have some more practical use aswell. Rested XP, crafting bonuses etc. It really wouldn't have to be anything fancy. A WoW campfire kinda thingy could go a long way, but if it was up to me I'd throw in a few crates, some lights and maybe a small hover droid, with some atmospheric "bee-woops" thrown in occasionally.
