  1. 1v1 situations don't matter. Only warzones. Warzones are the real pvp situations, so it does happen. The CD on Resolve would be based on your resolve bar filling up. It would function more like diminishing returns then. Right now resolve flat-out sucks.
  2. I feel you man. I hit Valor 60 before they sped up valor gain. Now it means nothing. I actually unsubbed today.

    You clearly don't understand how this would work. It does nothign to impact people who don't like PvP, other then letting them jump in if they want. It maintains balance better.
  4. ^^^ This. I used to stop baddy BM's when i was in part champ and part cent gear. But you have to have some reward for your time invested.

    The game SHOULD be designed around PvP balance FIRST and then PvE. You could use a bolster in PvE to increase everyone's power for raids. Then you coudl also avoid needing 2 different gear sets and make rewards for PvP and PvE the same.
  6. Except that with a 2 min CD stun break you can be stunned like 30 times before it comes back up. One person on teh forums actually counted just to see and they were subjected to 24 stuns in the 2 minutes theirs was down. Making Resolve an actual ability would allow you to pop CC after a few stuns so you can't just be chain stunned to death for 1:30 out of every 2 minutes. Resolve also needs to be fixed. I get stunned with full resolve ticking down all the time.
  7. Civil War is my favorite map. Voidstar is my least favorite. I like huttball a lot, but as a class with no hard stuns, no pulls, and no knockbacks... a lot of hte enjoyment is lost on me. I do a GREAT impression of a pinball in that map though.
  8. EXCEPT that if you don't offer an incentive for PvP people won't do it! No one wants to focus their time on PvP (I primarily PvP in most games, I ONLY PvP in this game) and see people who PvE gearing up and them getting nothing. Gear progression = leveling. I don't know why people can't get this. It is how you improve and work on your toon. It is a role-playing game. You progress. Additionally, the Gear gap is not nearly as bad in this game as in others. You can totally help your team and do ok as a fresh 50. You can hit 50 with a saved up bag and 1k/1k and get a few pieces of gear and start gaining stuff fast. You cant trivialize the accomplishments of all your hardcore PvP players who have been working on their characters teh whole time.
  9. A system that allows for freak outliers is broken I am 2/24 on BM tokens since i started keeping track. I quit playing for a month because I got bored and then came back because I read about 1.2 coming soon. Since I came back I am 2/24 on BM tokens in cases. I also don't like a lot of the changes coming in 1.2. The support for PvP in this game is also lamentably bad.
  10. Why don't you, in addition to the CC break every class already has, make an activated Resolve skill that you can slot in your action bar. It can only be used when your resolve is full, and when it is you can break your current CC and have a period of immunity until resolve wears off? Currently, my resolve bar usually ticks down in the respawn area, because the 4-6 sec stun that was the third or fourth to hit me and nailed me when I had 90% resolve already is the stun I die during. If I make it to that many stuns. Sometimes you die in one or two. Let us keep the junk 2 min CD CC break and make Resolve an actual ability. Then, when your resolve bar is full, instead of watching yourself stunned until you die WITH full resolve, you could HIT resolve and break the cc and have temporary immunity.

  12. Except that you can't transfer your level 50 character to the test server... So you can definitely see what it is like from level 1-20... of course if you really want to test the pvp stuff you could regrind your same character all the way to 50.... stupid as hell.
  13. Except that it doesn't work as advertized. I will have full resolve with my bar ticking down and I still get rooted/stunned.
  14. This is flat out not true. Stop trying to kill some mara/sent with a tank friend bubbling him and a pocket healer.
  15. This is ridiculous, for 4 seconds they can't really be killed. If your stuns are down or you can't get away from them to stay alive for 4 seconds... they got you. That's it. If your stun is up... you make them waste UR and they gave up 50% of their remaining hp for nothing. You got them. That's it.
  16. I'll do that. it is good damage even when gore is not up. If someone force cloaks you just deal with it. root them with deadly throw and back off until just enough until it wears off. or force choke. might not do damage but itll hold em up until you can sue something that does decent damage. Carnage is totally viable. You don't know what you are talking about.

  18. If i have mobs on me in PvE and i hti force camo to escape it does nothing. They can be shooting me from 20m off and if i go invisible with force camo, they keep shooting like nothing happened.
  19. This is wrong. I play carnage and I duel anni specced marauders and wipe the floor with them all the time. It is all about how you play carnage. The ability chaining is a lot different than with annihilation.

  21. I didn't say Marauder or sent does bad damage. I said we don't damage that much higher than anyone else specced dps. And my point stands. The patch is not breaking sorcs, nor is it making marauders/sentinels gods. People are swinging the nerf bat before bioware has even pitched the ball.
  22. You have had an amazing class all along. You ahve access to every single toolset in the game. You can spec hybrid and Do 300k damage and 150k healing in one match. You can sprint, pull allies, ranged stun, Aoe knockback (that roots if specced right). I am a battlemaster Marauder and I can't kill a good sorc healer to save my life. I force charge to interrupt a heal. Then I disrupt a heal and my disrupt goes on 8 sec CD. Then maybe I can choke to end another heal. Then you cast one heal while all my **** is on CD and you are at full health. Sorcs will be fine after the patch. I don't know if you ahve ever played a Marauder, but the changes they are making are not as monumental as you might think. It is a slight overall damage boost. Which marauders should ahve, because they can ONLY spec DPS. No points in healing or tanking for survivability. Snipers and Marauders SHOULD DPS 5% higher than any other class. They don't. Snipers dont get ANY hard stuns. Smash does dink damage if you are not specced rage, so they have pitiful aoe damage outside of that spec. ************ sorcs are getting old. You sound like a bunch of whiners.
  23. Just got into a fight and I couldn't pull off Gore to save my life. The stupid animation kept stutter starting for about 5 seconds and not going off. Then i tried to Ravage and it locked me into the animation withotu applying the damage. Then when I tried to Gore afterward it started doing the stuttering half animations again.
  24. Not to mention Disrupt is on an 8 second CD. It's not like people will be spamming the freaking interrupt. In 8 seconds a healer can take himself from 40% hp to full 7 times. OH NOES!!!!! THEY DON'T HAVE TO SPEND ONE RAGE TO INTERRUPT!
