    They don't want to understand, hence the high level of ad hominem attacks coming from that direction. It's a well-known phenomenon, the tendency to respect other people's choices only when it's the same as your own . Also in some cases leads to viewing that different choice as criticism of your own and hence an attack on you, which leads to the defensive behaviour.

    Indeed, it's the same guild, usually one person readily identifiable by a reference to Japanese wrestling in his name accompanied by one or two guildies. Sad state of affairs knowing that it's a 6v8 at best before the game even starts, regardless of which side you're on.

    How on earth does this happen? Been running 8sm with my guild since before xmas, cleared Ravagers pretty much every week since, never once had this reset occur. We take Pearl to between 10 and 15%, swap to Cora herself, switch to Pearl to finish when Cora disappears. Is this not what other people are doing or are we just lucky?

    And this is why you need civilians. To remind the gung ho types what the civilisation and civilised values they're supposed to be defending (ie not trying to shape in their own image) is all about.

    It's not called the Window Licker Academy for nothing. I've only ever set foot in the place with a guild group the first week it came out, or solo post 3.0 for rep grinding. Horrible design, horrible idea in the first place. TFPs just teach godawful play.

    Why do people think there are often separate sections in TOS and EULA documents for different countries, such as the separate EU/Germany/Canada sections? Because these companies know they CAN face enforcement in other countries than the US and, like Microsoft, have often found themselves falling foul of consumer protection laws that have very real teeth.

    Was a lot of fun, even our little team with 3 Europeans playing on a West coast server at 200+ ping, in largely stock ships managed to put up some good results.

    Put up 30 kills in a 42-50 defeat yesterday, had 2 suicide leeches with 13 deaths between them. Sigh.

    3rd link doesn't work, bottom 2 are the same as top two, but the point is taken. I've seen those 2 (fatbloke and educk - names altered to avoid calling out) votekicked from Domination, but in a TDM.....yeah, that's harsh.

    Yeah, that was our experience last night. Could see from your first link the Shadow tank (couldn't see name, sorry) was outside the cross, but on the 2nd link he was clearly inside it AND jumped to try to update his position. Broken mechanic is broken.

    Yes, i read the same guide when doing it, but didn't get the pet until I logged over to the other side and did it. Who knows, the pet may just have been delivered while I was doing those other planets, but it only turned up once every single droid had been scanned.

    And also make sure you've done the other factions stuff as well, including starter and separate timeline planets, ie balmorra/taris on both sides.
