  1. with any missile, rapid reload is going to let you get them off faster. and firing arc will make locking on easier. this is to help a new player get more dmg done per match and hopefully add to their kill count. with that in mind one of the first upgrades you want to make on a missile ship is the reduced lock on time (usually the 1st or 2nd tier). that along with the crew change i mentioned above should make your missiles much more effective.

Drako, thanks for the feedback. the videos are little old and some of my builds have changed. also i have gotten better at power management. but with the railgun and the not zooming in on targets, i use a rollerball and have no mouse wheel for zooming. and though i don't use clusters anymore i still like the DOT on them. it keeps most ships from recharging shields. also you dont have to look for blaster power ups as often.
  3. I thought i might share some of the videos i have made during our guild starfighter event. I do a guild event once a week on the Shadowlands server. we get up 20 guildies queuing for GSF at the same time.its a lot of fun even when we end up facing each other all the time. enjoy. this one i used as one of my training videos too. hope you liked them
  4. for you #2 if using locking missles you should have HK or Corso or ??? (i forget the Imp side version of corso) at offensive. anyway you want reduced lock on time and improved kill zone. this will help you lock on easier and faster.
  5. Event: EMP Missile Kill on a player ship - achievement: One in a Million how about 2 kills with 1 emp missle. did that once.
  6. but that is way the rule is you can only change your co-pilot. every1 stays with the base 4 comps. i would also like to 2nd the original point. stock night was a blast. i had a lot of fun. i will try and bring more of Clawbird Squad for the next one.

  8. this is unreal. are the Devs really just going to let GSF die a slow death? Shadowlands has become completely unbalanced because no one wants to fly Imp side with 2-4 bots to try and carry! Can we please get some kind of official response on what if anything is going to be done about this? is there any rule about post the offenders names in here because i have a list...
  9. i have my new pilots go with hydro spanner and shield recharge. this helps them stay alive longer when 1st starting out. once you get the hang of it then switch to a more advanced setting.
  10. a very important upgrade when starting out is, if using any locking missles, get the reduced lock on time (usually 1st or 2nd tier). after that get 2 tiers in majors, then max minors. some ships i will max 1 part right away. ie spearpoints tensor. DF is a good one to max early too.
  11. a T3 scout with EMP missles and tensor field can be key to winning dom matchs. this ship and build can seem pretty weak but the buffs and debuffs it puts out can really tip the balance. in death matches bombers should always be top target of T1 gunships ion splash and rail.
  12. am I the only one who likes the T3 scout? one of my favorites for dom matches. i use: LLC, EMP missles(shield block), tensor(turning/recharge), distort, snap turn, and hydro spanners. this is a great ship for taking nodes. 1 emp to a turret spots them from shooting while you circle the sat and take them out. also clears the area of mines and disables probes. having a tensor at the start of a dom match can be key to winning by getting you teams bombers to the sats in 1 boost.
