  1. Never understood how so few people know you can tank the beast in the archway and pick up the adds the moment they pop with Force Sweep, Slow Time or Explosive Surge. There's a line in the stone where the texture changes - park your character's toes on that line, the head swipe bounces you off the arch and more or less back where you started. Job done.
  2. Less derailing thread with arguments, more funny stories. The last 10 pages or so have the lowest story to page ratio so far in this thread. Please, take your theorycrafting or just plain d**k measuring contests elsewhere.
  3. Shadow Wrap, a high end talent in the tank tree, makes Shadow Strike/Maul usable from in front of the mob.
  4. Sounds more like a door opening to me. *Chunk* "Honey, I'm home!"
  5. No, just better at the game than you seem to think is possible. Tank with healer comp or vice versa has no issues with soloing champs like Loell and Tharsis as long as you keep your gear up to date with planetary comms/cybertech.
  6. "The Cantina tours are VERY important in figuring out what players want." If they're so very important, maybe they could spend some of their precious time outside the USA and ask the rest of us.
  7. Instance entrances only show a specific class if that's the only thing they're used for. If they're shared, it will just say "Group phase" etc
  8. Fixate mechanic. What I *think* happens is that they fixate on the first person to generate threat after they spawn, so it's always the healer if you're using the shuttle, but stacked on the boss the tank has a chance with a well-timed surge/sweep/slow time to be that first person. Taunt will override it, but only for the duration of the taunt, once the taunt is up they're going right back on the fixate target. So yeah, the healer was a tard and wasn't a damn thing you could do for another 39 seconds.
  9. So you ignore the point by trying to argue it's just semantics. You choose which content you do and which rewards you wish to pursue. These labels you cling so tenaciously to are artificial divisions. If you're so very skilled because you only go up against dynamic opponents who change all the time (ignoring the fact that you'll always queue against the same people anyway, so where's your vaunted variety), then surely these scripted PvE opponents will be an absolute cakewalk for your and your godly crew of PvP blowhards. Get over yourself. Put up or shut up and stop whining that you don't win the lottery when you refuse to even buy a ticket.
  10. There is no such thing as a "PvPer" or a "PvEer", you are not branded at birth, you are not signed up to a different game from the rest of us. There is only content that you either will or will not do. It is YOUR choice. Get a grip and stop whining because you choose to restrict your game experience.
  11. Will you two argue in another damn thread and leave us to the funny stories. Three or four pages now and all it's doing is making you both look like idiots that won't let an argument go.
  12. If you insist on pigeon-holing yourself into either a "PvPer" or "PvEer" category and cut yourself off from half the game, you have only yourself to blame.
  13. Running away doesn't cap objectives. You just described perfectly how most imperials play on Shadowlands where they get utterly dominated.
  14. No, you got kicked for telling 3 other people what you were going to do with their time.
  15. Good to hear things are improving for you personally, although it does sound like it's you that's finding your feet rather than getting better groups. You should NEVER have to apologise as a healer for getting mobs off you, they shouldn't even be on you in the first place.
  16. I went backwards in the queue cause someone in front of me had a baby. True story.
  17. Glad it's not just me noticed that. Most of my toons are on Shadowlands but since rolling a few on TRE, I thought something odd was going on. It's painful to see sometimes, even when the same dps pulls aggro time after time after time. I just click it off on my scoundrel, after 3 such clicks I'll say something.
  18. Oh god, that would be so nice. Whenever I switch between PvE and PvP specs I have to chant "fix your bars, fix your bars" otherwise I go into a warzone and wonder why I'm not dropping Slow Release Medpac on my target and getting "Requires Upper Hand" instead, cos it never puts the 3 spec-related skills where I always have them.
