  1. ITT - disgruntled paying customer expresses lack of gruntle. Random internet denizen makes standard accusation of crying, missing point of customer feedback.
  2. Human female gunslinger, made 45 minutes after the servers came up for early access (damn traffic on the way home from work). Still my main, still kicking random NPCs in the nuts.
  3. If there's one accent that really, truly hacks me off every time it's the vendor that says "care to take a look at our ordnance?". So very very painfully fake. Hatehatehate.
  4. My my, you are quite the hate-filled little "A hole" aren't you? It's the toxicity of the self-identified "PvPers" that drives this revulsion towards being forced to dip even one toe into a mix which by now is about 1% water, 99% waste. The grown-ups are talking, isn't it time for your nap?
  5. No, and they didn't let us pre-patch 9gig of data either
  6. Not as if it's hard to add a surname system in after launch, if Carbine can do it with the train wreck that was WildStar, then surely BW could do it.
  7. 2 of them yesterday, in the same FP. Story mode Cademimu on my gunslinger on TRE, who at the time is level 27 and still doesn't have the energy regen on DoT ticks, meaning Dirty Fighting is still a chore to play. Zone in slightly after the rest as I was in the middle of a story conversation and do a quick audit of the team. Sage has already made excuses for crap healing and I take this as an admission they're not Seer spec I check the shadow, recognise the guild name as being semi-decent and note the correct stance for infiltration spec. Then I check the tank. Oh dear. Cunning medium armour chestpiece. Willpower dps earpiece. Green medium strength gloves, greens everywhere else, admittedly with aim. A shield, but plasma cell. Not once during the half-run did he switch despite being badgered into doing so, and he died a LOT because he was shielding 5% of attacks. He was actually in shield spec, the stacking absorb proc was building on his bar, but it was painful to see just how slowly they built up. In the bar, he ignored the 6 guys that drop in from above and pulled the group of 2 strongs, 2 normals, 1 champ at the door and as a result only myself and the sage survived. On the pack by the shortcut he dropped almost instantly, again leaving us to pile enemy corpses up on his broken body. By the time we reached the first boss he'd died 3 times and although those were to be his last deaths in combat, they were not his last deaths of the run. We pull the first boss, I open up knowing that he's still in plasma cell so I'm going to have aggro soon enough anyway. Shrap, vital shot, first wounding shots rips the boss. He taunts back and by this time the shadow has been frozen by the droid and it's coming for me. I run around the energy trap, droid is locked down and I finish the boss off while on a sliver of health because the fake healer is DPS'ing instead of shielding/healing etc. At this point the only part of the run to go right happens. 3 non-troopers greed the heavy chestpiece, vanguard rolls need. So far so normal. Vantard then keeps the medium cunning chestpiece on. At this point I'm praying we can survive the rest of the FP with minimal derp, but that prayer was quickly submitted to the MMO gods, looked at briefly, sneered at and chucked on the discard pile. We take the taxi. As I land I see the sage arrive, just ahead of the tank. The tank lands and promptly autoruns straight off the edge of the platform to his death. I make the comment "wrong gear, wrong cell, wrong way", eliciting a laugh from the fake healer. We wait for the tank to come back, who lands, runs straight off the edge AGAIN and instantly drops group. Give the shadow credit, they queued us back up with minimal delay and I pull out Bowdaar who'd just been upgraded when I finished Nar Shaddaa. We get as far as the next boss when the fake healer starts pleading with me to get rid of Bowdaar so the shadow can pull Theran out. I consider trying to convince him/her that a tank companion with a player healing them is more sensible than 3 dps with an undergeared companion healiing, and the shadow appears to be of the same mind as the sage (who would've had a Theran of their own) has to convince them to get him out. We drop the wookiee boss quickly, a cunning piece drops and the sage promptly rolls need on it, winning it. I ask them, somewhat acerbically I will admit, why they'd rolled need on it. Sage claims they thought they could equip it. I tell them what I think of people who queue for a role they're not prepared to play and take drops from players who could use them, and drop group. God I feel sorry for that shadow.
  8. Yep, but he's already had a pop at me for suggesting that. As it appears your first language is also German, maybe you can explain it to him
  9. BioWare have this thing about wanting massive damage on the tanks to keep the healers on their toes, but their approach to spike damage is to divide the big hits up into smaller components to give the spikier tanks ie shadows/assassins, a chance to survive as their mitigation is much more shield-based than the other tank classes. Sometimes they screw the methodology up. It's BioWare.
  10. Really? you're going to leave the random unequipping of GSF components unfixed...........
  11. Around 90% of my ignore list on my tanks and healers is DPS guardians and juggs. Not because I know the specific individual is bad, but because I've run into too many tardians to even consider tanking for them again. I queue, it pops with one of them in the window and I'll drop queue just to block them.
  12. Chapter 2 contains Belsavis, and I still to this day rate the consular story on Belsavis as my single personal favourite. Sky Hunter says booooooo to your opinion, sah! Plus, psych ward droid.
  13. Umm, actually no. That's the REAL car, the actual, 100% full size working genuine article. The OP was asking for full size decorations that make it look like your ship or fighter is parked in the stronghold. Not an "almost life sized model".
  14. Because not everyone on the internet is American...........
  15. The issue with West coast isn't so much the fee as the ping times from Europe. East Coast is 3000 miles less, much more forgiving. I average 105 - 115 on Shadowlands, lucky to get below 175 on Harb/Bastion.
  16. Fireballs only damage the person they're targeted on unless that person vanishes out, in which case they lock on the nearest (I think). If that happened, you were hosed by a moronic shadow/sin/scoundrel/operative.
  17. If you know your role/spec and are carrying out research on gearing etc, you ARE in the contribute category. The carried are those who neither know what they're doing nor care, because "it's a video game". Never understood how they can compartmentalise activities into "this other person is a person and I should treat their time like my own" (probably real life stuff with friends/relatives) and "I can't be bothered following normal rules of polite conduct because you're just an electronic ghost to me".
  18. Is Eric allowed to pass along hugs to the security team? Big, manly bear hugs with jovial backslapping and assorted grunts of encouragement?
  19. And now I find myself wondering what the Jedi Stripper's powers would be and what they would use Mind Trick for. *waves hand* You want to find some bigger denomination notes to put in my thong.
  20. Well, given the bride is the friend in question (which is great, cos male BFF of the bride has zero traditional role, so I just show my face for free food ), that particular group comp wouldn't happen anyway, but yeah, I can just see it. "Care to start your honeymoon playing GSF for 3 hours?" ...............
  21. Sigh. Been looking forward to it, working on my ships on Bastion, aaaaaaand it's the day of my best friend's wedding. Arse arse arse.
  22. Vendor needs to be available on starter planets too please BW. Pretty please.
  23. Spent some time talking to one guy on Shadowlands impside on Saturday who hadn't realised the blue border around an upgrade on tiers 4/5 meant that was the active one, that he'd been running shield repair on his Legion simply because the left side is where he clicked when he bought it and that it was an either/or toggle. So what I'm say is a few visual hints - ie look at this part of the UI to check which upgrade is active.
