  1. It just comes off as really rude, not necessarily hostile.
  2. I narrowed it down to Guardian, Sage, Shadow, or Sorcerer. 85% chance I'm going Guardian, though.
  3. With all RPGs I've ever played, I do both. Typically, my first play through/character reacts to things and situations like I would react to them. This includes all things in the game such as romances, LS/DS-Paragon/Renegade choices, et cetera. In a game like this, I have one character that makes decisions that I make, but all of my other characters have their own individual motives, back story, and purpose in my legacy. My favourite character to play/RP is my Warrior (played as a New Empire aligned Sith) shortly followed by my Shadow (played as a true Jedi Sentinel).
  4. What kind of retention did you get transferring servers? I'm thinking of moving to TEH and am also thinking of pursuing Clan Adenn as my aliit for my Mandalorian characters, of which I have 4. Also, where does Clan Adenn stand with the Empire? I have Sith characters that belong to a separate faction similar to the New Empire (IC of course)). I wouldn't put these characters in the guild, but I'm interested in knowing what kind of RP that could allow.
  5. 4) Same here. I made an Agent (Operative) the month of launch and loved, loved, loved Act 1 of the story. I kept on breezing through and for some reason stopped playing. Poor Eriona is still sitting idly on Alderaan at level 32 with an unopened Champion bag in her inventory. 9) About two years ago I made another Agent (Sniper this time) and fell in love with the story all over again. I actually finished it this time, but never even bothered with my Operative. 10) Awesome!!!!! I didn't know that you could do that. I'm going to have to create another Agent to make that happen. That was on my top 5 list of story-related things that I wish I could do in SW:TOR. Joining the New Empire is still up there at number one, though. You play on Shadowlands, right? Pretty sure I've seen that remark in gen chat before and I remember laughing about it.
  6. I'm looking for a home for my Juggernaut. She is a Light Side, Pureblood Imperial loyalist with grudges against the Sith. She disapproves of the Dark nature of the Sith, but she recognises and supports the strength of the Empire. She strives to reconstruct the Imperial society and the way that Sith treat the rest of the imperials. In a guild, I would like a good deal of RP, preferably with a master-apprentice setup. You can PM me here or contact me in-game. My character's name is Xinthra.
  7. You're awesome just for mentioning Javik. My list: To keep: M1-4X. Best companion ever and has always been my favourite. Wish: No one really jumps to mind. Obviously everyone wants Theron, Lana, and/or Jakarro, but I'd also like Jaxo and Garza. To the Maker: Skadge. Just awful. Such a terrible person, a terrible fit for the BH's team, and just annoying. I hope I can blow out his kneecaps before kicking him through the his end.
  8. 1. Totally agree. I struggled to continuously play any Imperial character until I made my Juggernaut and instantly fell in love with the character. Her voice and acting are fantastic. I'm not a huge fan of the Inquisitor, but that could be biased because of my intense hatred for that entire class. 2. I disagree. Playing as Commander Shepard in the Star Wars universe was a huge bonus for me. I also love when my Troopers talk to Satele. So much awesome. I didn't know that Hawke was in this game, though. I've only played DA2 once and wouldn't recognise her right away. 5. I'm pretty much the same way. I have about 35 total characters and only 3 are male. I just can't get into playing them for extended periods of time. Only male VA I've enjoyed so far is the Trooper. -------------- With that said, here are a few of mine: 1) I don't like the Jedi Knight story at all. Virtually playing in God mode is not fun or interesting. 2) I hate Revan and the fact that "Revan" has a canon story now. To me, Revan will always be a blonde woman that turned Bastila to the Dark Side, took her as an apprentice, and went back to being a ****** with Bastila at her side. I still haven't finished SoR and really don't care to do so. BioWare will never redeem itself in my eyes for this terrible mistake. 3) I really wish BioWare did enforcement on RP servers of any kind. I would even pay a higher subscription price for the service. 4) I don't heal people or tank for people in PvP with stupid character names. I'd rather just let you die. 5) I don't like using Mumble, Ventrilo, or whatever voice client people are using now. Everything can be done and said from within the game itself. 6) I prefer all of the non-Force using classes over the Jedi and Sith playstyles. I think they're just so much cooler. 7) I'd love to play an Agent tank. 8) Now that ESO is out for PS4, I wish BioWare would release SW:TOR for consoles. 9) I've been playing since beta and have put countless hours into this game, but I'd still rather have KotOR III. 10) I've written over 250 pages of story for my characters and how 8 of them are involved with one another whether they be allies, enemies, or related. 11) I'd kill to be able to use any weapon on any character (assault rifle with Powertech, double-bladed lightsabre for Sentinel, etc.) 12) I was unhealthily happy when Manaan was announced as a planet in-game. I'm still waiting for my Manaan Stronghold.
  9. Not all of this is true. Your Strongholds will and will not transfer. They will not transfer in the sense that they will be available as soon as you log in to your new server, but they will be available to you once you re-purchase that Stronghold. For example, you will not have the Coruscant Apartment unlocked when you first log in to the new server. However, once you buy it for the 5,000 credits, any rooms that you unlocked on the previous server will now be available. Same thing applies to Tatooine, Dromund Kaas, and Nar Shaddaa. With Nar Shaddaa, though, if you've unlocked it via the subscriber bonus, then you'll just need to go to the kiosk to make it available. Otherwise, I recently transferred here from Jung Ma & Shadowlands and I like it. It's a busy server with people around most of the time. I haven't had any issues yet. I miss the PvP ruleset of Jung Ma, but oh well. Sacrifices needed to be made.
  10. I've had this mouse since launch. I love it and always have. Not sure how someone would pay this game without a mouse like that. Also, edited quoted post to make my post less obnoxious.
  11. Usually cherry bourbon and vanilla Coke or Captain 100 proof and Coke.
  12. It sounds good in theory, but this is why it should never happen for PvP: We'll end up playing one of two Warzones, which leads to more yelling that we need more WZs (we do need more). It would make PvP even more bland and repetitive. For PvE, the same would happen. I'm sure that no one would ever play the Czerka missions ever again and everyone would want to run Cademimu until the end of time because it's quick and easy. To me, it's not as much of a problem with Flashpoints because there are so many more of them. The same issues would occur, however.
  13. Yep. Essentially three years down the road and over six years since the game was announced, we still don't have a hood down option. There's plenty of stuff that people have been clamouring for that we still don't have. It's disgusting and disappointing really.
  14. You get out of here with your logic!! Personally, I use the Google Keep app on my phone.
  15. As some who has subscribed and played since day one, there's a lot in the OP that I agree with and some that I disagree with. Agree: Very little progression from the developer team. There are many, many things that this game could use and the fact that they still don't exist at this point is nothing short of disgusting and appalling. Where are the chat bubbles? If you can't do it, then say so. Don't keep saying maybe, maybe, maybe. That's insulting and upsetting to me as a customer. Where is more original content? Don't keep recycling events without new ones. What am I paying for? For the dev team to move the same event to make me load a different planet before going to the same tunnels as before with slightly altered enemies? For what's been said about 3.0: two new planets and no new world bosses? Barely any *real* new Flashpoints with six on the docket is a joke. You added HM versions of three or four Tacticals that already exist, so we're playing the same content in a different fashion. Really? That kind of stuff makes me want to switch to preferred and I don't buy stiff off the CM. Disagree: BioWare is and has always been about story (not going forward in regards to SW:TOR, though). Skipping all the cut scenes and story content is a waste of your time, not theirs. As a huge, huge, huge fan of KotOR, that's why I'm here and why I pre-ordered my CE the day it was available. If you're skipping all that content, then you were playing the wrong game from the start.
  16. By " someone," I mean either the transferred person or the home server person. Like I said, I've been on both sides of that. My Shadow and Sentinel, two of my main characters at the time, had to have their names changed when servers were merged into Jung Ma. As a result, I still don't play them that much anymore. My point is that Sith happens and there's no perfect way to fix this problem.
  17. Well, that really bursts my bubble. I'm really disappointed now. I was really hoping for her to become a recurring character in SW:TOR.
  18. As far as I see it, all the characters from the original cinematic trailers at launch (they're called Return, Hope, and Deceived; if you haven't ever seen them, then go watch them immediately. They are all fantastic) have had a significant role, assuming they survived the video except for Nico Okarr, the Smuggler guy, and Shae Vizla. Satele went from Padawan to Grand Master, Malgus went from Sith apprentice to Emperor of his new empire, and Jace Malcolm was promoted over time from Havoc grunt to Supreme Commander. Darth Vindican, Master Ven Zallow, and Master Darach all died, but Zallow has been mentioned in the game and used to have a namesake server. However, the Bedtime on Concordia foreshadowing story alludes to Shae's return. What do you think she'll be doing? Could she be an enemy or an ally fighting against the "worthy foe" in Revan that she's rumoured to be seeking? I'm hoping that her and Mandalorians play a big part in the expansion. I also hope that she becomes Mand'alor somehow.
  19. But the player being transferred didn't choose to be merged into another server rather than another server merged into his or her server. It's really just a game of chance that some people lose. Someone's going to get screwed. That's just how it has to happen, really.
  20. Are you saying that someone who was unwillingly transferred to another server should have to change his name just because the other player wants to keep his characters' name? Now, I'm being slightly sarcastic, but in truth I think that both situations are unfair. Either way it sucks. I've been on both sides of that when people merged into Jung Ma and my Mind Trick was merged (twice) into other servers.
  21. This was not "introduced" in the sense that it's a new event. Like most things from BioWare Austin, it's just a recycled and reskinned event.
  22. Why are you no longer ready? Your OP doesn't specifically specify why you're butthurt. Sounds like you have made something up in your head and that you're now very upset about it.
  23. If they're available all the time, then you won't buy as many as you can while they're on the market. It's an inventive for you to buy as many of each pack that they release.
  24. Shadowlands is nice, but I've always been partial to Jung Ma. It's an RP-PvP server and it won't exactly fix your population woes, but it's a pretty decent server.
