  1. I believe the idea is to allow you to romance your companion at any time rather than whenever you are initially given the opportunity. It would also allow for you to possibly romance other companions in the future that are not romanceable now.
  2. You can use them in an Operation. I used to use Blitz at every possible opportunity. It was a great move that dealt awesome damage and helped to clear out smaller enemies quickly. I definitely want it back. I see no reason to remove it anyway.
  3. Healer - Mako She sounds like Eliza Thornberry and that's pretty much it. She's kind of funny, but I really don't like most of the healers. It was between her and Elara, but Mako won because of the Nickelodeon nostalgia. Melee tank - Broonmark He's just really cool and he's like the arctic version of a Wookiee. I like Broonmark a lot. Ranged tank - M1-4X Forex is just hysterical. He cracks me up with his overly intense yells of Republic superiority. He's my favourite companion. Melee DPS - Tanno Vik Tanno's a hardass and he uses a giant vibroblade; what more do you need? Ranged DPS - Sergeant Rusk (I'd pick Jaesa, if I could just have a fifth companion) Rusk is a pretty cool guy. I wish he got more screen time, but I like his rough mentality and I think it adds a good deal to the Consular's ship. He'd be more than welcome on my Vanguard or Juggernaut's ship.
  4. I felt that it was beautifully written. It's a request coming from anjmjn author that is simply wanting a better gaming experience. It's not full of whining or threats, but rather a simple explanation of how a standard MMO feature would improve his gaming experience. I am also on his side. Adding server transfers would improve my gaming experience ten fold. Finally having all of my characters on one server would be awesome.
  5. You don't need to cheat to get to level 50 without completing your class mission. I usually hit 50 around Belsavis after doing Warzones and Flashpoints regularly. You also gain more XP by being in a group, which I do often. You can also start doing your Belsavis dailies at level 48, which gain you a large amount of XP.
  6. I think 350 is still a little expensive for something as silly as the species unlocks. 600 is just nonsense. I do wish that BioWare would lower the prices for those unlocks a bit.
  7. I will. I also wasn't trolling. That is my legiitimate answer. I've never been in a frat and never will be. Frats also tend to play FIFA and NHL because Madden is a bad game and has been for about 5 years. FIFA is a way better game.
  8. I plan to buy CoD9 a few days before the 15th and then not really play TOR that much anymore.
  9. Me too. It gives me hope that the general public will eventually have a greater understanding of the English language.
  10. Assassine is a female assassin in French. None of what you said sounds like a female assassin. If you meant asinine, then I don't find it foolish either. It makes sense that you would continue on the path of something and discover something bigger and badder than you thought. This big and bad thing would then require you to gather forces to overcome.
  11. The Aspiring Knight's vest is a belly shirt with a hood. That's nowhere close.
  12. I'm fine with the gap because all four of the classes that you mentioned (Gunslinger, Sniper, Marauder, and Sentinel) are pure DPS classes. My Vanguard & Juggernaut are DPS, but they have added utility to keep them relevant. My Sentinel can't taunt for Protection points in PvP or to help in a very nasty pinch in PvE. I also prefer playing my Juggernaut over my Sentinel. I have a low level Gunslinger and feel the same about her and my Vanguard. Also, there will never be perfect balance. That will just never be possible without giving every class the same moves and taking away all of the things that make the class fun to play.
  13. I blame the MMO format. The game puts more emphasis on going to the Fleet to "socialise" than expanding on characters because that is a solitary venture. BioWare Austin didn't want that to happen, so you don't get the writing and character development that you want.
  14. What's wrong with Anakin building C3-PO? I also really like Gungans. Jar Jar is ridiculous, but that's not the entire species' fault. Ahsoka's also not a bad character. I like her too. I actually have some hope for this buyout. If Disney can get some good directors and writers for Episode 7, then it has the potential to be one of the better movies in the series. I'd love to see a Tarantino Star Wars movie, but Disney isn't going to have its name on something like that. Maybe a Peter Jackson type film would be good.
  15. BioWare said no to this before launch because they didn't want to deal with "break ups" since they're not very heroic.
  16. For me, the replayability is severely stunted by the exorbitant amount of time it takes to play through the game and the fact that side missions must be repeated in order to progress. It just simply is not possible to only play through the storylines. I like OP's idea as well. I frequently help guildmates with lower level story bosses and Flashpoints, but it would be a lot more fun for me if it was more than just carving up NPCs. It would also help the people I'm helping because they'd get XP out of it all.
  17. I don't. Playing one character is easily the best way to rack up legacy XP. Playing multiple characters is actually pretty inefficient.
  18. What if you play next to a window and leave it open?
  19. I think it is logical and fair for us to pay for a real, proper expansion. A real, proper expansion has had extra work put into it that we are not seeing with our subscription. I consider my subscription price going to small updates, bug fixes, maintenance, and customer service. However, I also feel that an expansion should not cost any more than $25 because of the subscription fee. An expansion to SW:TOR is nothing like a DLC update to a single-player game where it's a one shot deal. Granted that the MMO expansion takes more work than regular DLC content warranting the higher price, it is not a separate game and the developer will be collecting funds in the future because of my subscription.
  20. Personally, I'm not going to download a separate game client, play a different character, and spend a bunch of time testing when my testing isn't going to be considered. I also can't continuously play on the PTS for Force knows what reason because BioWare shuts it down and brings it up whenever it feels like it. To me, it's just not worth the hassle of trying to make a difference when it's all for naught. I blame BioWare Austin's poor management of the game for that mentality.
  21. I will disagree and say that it is certainly BioWare's problem if he or anyone else does not have the patience to wait for real transfers. If his patience runs out, then he unsubscribes and stops playing, which is most certainly BioWare's problem.
