  1. This is what I've been doing. It cuts down on the story mission times in a way because you have all the taxis and such unlocked. However, you most definitely will come to a point where you are very over levelled regardless, but that's how the game was before the XP boost. I used to always hit level 50 on Belsavis.
  2. You can stay at level 50 by cancelling your subscription, I believe. Otherwise, you will have to stop playing that character entirely or you will eventually hit level 51.
  3. They used to do that stuff every once in a while for ME3. Granted it's a different studio, but I agree that seeing some stats would be cool. I know I've spent way too much time playing since x12 started and have hit 55 on four different characters with it.
  4. Honestly, yeah, I do. I'd miss the PvP ruleset in the open world, but the gains far outweigh the losses, in my opinion for my personal play style. Open world PvP is a joke anyway. All the later game planets are so sparsely populated that outside of events and this x12 situation I never see other players anyway. Either way, I vote for a server merge. I do not vote with vigor, but I think it'd be the best thing in the long run.
  5. This is what is probably going to happen. From what I got out of the blog post, the trees will be the same but with the bonuses that you don't have to adjust it every level and it's not so hard to change. There will always be an optimal build and MMO players will always use it and criticise those who don't use it.
  6. I've now run two characters to level 55 nearly purely through x12 ( Madness Assassin and Lethality Sniper ). The gear becomes an issue at higher levels, but you can overcome that by playing your class properly, using stims, and using your defensive and offensive cooldowns frequently. Heroic Moment is also your friend for boss fights. Only gear that I've used is whatever has been given to me or what I could scrounge up from Planetary Commendations. You can do it; you just have to pay attention. This won't be the regular cakewalk that levelling usually is where you're overgeared and over levelled for everythin .
  7. I have a 55 Commando, Mercenary, Powertech, and Vanguard. I agree with most of the other posters that Vanguard and Mercenary are the way to go. I definitely think that the BHs are more interchangeable, but Vanguard fits the Trooper so much better, in my opinion.
  8. I would really like to see this happen. Due to in game events, it makes sense as well.
  9. I've seen a decline in the population based on the times the I play, granted that I don't play at prime times because of my job and school, but either way I'd like to see Jung Ma gain more valuable players or more characters of players that are already here.
  10. Last time I thought that was when Lost Island was first released. That Flashpoint was difficult for the average player upon release. And what happened? Nerfbat. People complained that it was too hard and it got watered down. Personally, I have a love-hate relationship with Tacticals. I don't like how brain dead stupid they are, but I like the idea of emphasis on story. However, in my opinion, there isn't enough story to justify the simplicity of the content. I think Esseles/Black Talon has more story content, which I think is unbalanced. Tacticals should have more conversation and more pre-mission and post-mission content. I think these last two Tacticals did a good job of the before and after stuff, but the during was pretty weak.
  11. I haven't seen a SW:TOR server with a queue time since the servers were merged, but that's a good point, I suppose.
  12. I agree, but I also feel that there may be players out there that have good intentions in coming to Jung Ma or are like myself and would like to bring more characters to Jung Ma and make it their main or only server. I've met some players that have started characters here and like the server, but play elsewhere because that's where their mains are. I would hope that the economic incentive would make that transition easier. I totally understand your concerns, though. I'm okay with the smaller population, but it pains me to see so many players leaving the server with no new players joining. I would hate to see Jung Ma shut down or become a dead server.
  13. I should've emphasised that I made the "mmo" lower case and the "RPG" upper case for a reason. The reason being that SW:TOR is more RPG than MMO.
  14. I added this thread to the Suggestion Box asking for discounted character transfers to Jung Ma in hopes of adding to our population. Post in the thread to show your support!
  15. This is the real answer. I've said since almost two years before launch that this game would be an MMO for non-MMO players. It's a "story-driven MMO," which means it's about the story. It should be branded as an mmoRPG, so that players understand where the emphasis is.
  16. I agree with that, but that doesn't make Jung Ma the more likely transfer destination server. RP and RP-PvE are the same thing. The rulesets are the same since BioWare doesn't actually enforce any kind of RP rules on RP-specific servers.
  17. In light of recent exoduses by larger guilds from Jung Ma, I suggest that you, BioWare, start some kind of discount, coupon, or other inventive for players that want to transfer characters to the Jung Ma server. I really like this server and want to see it thrive, but it seems like lately we're just losing players. I also think that this inventive could help add some players to our scarcely populated server.
  18. I don't think you'd really need one for base classes, but AC ones would be important to show off specific weapons and stances.
  19. Same problem on Jung Ma (RP-PVP for those that don't know). Some players are flagged and some aren't, even though everyone should always be flagged.
  20. Did Yoda make this thread title? On topic, I use Khem because I've never unlocked Xalek. My Assassin has been under level twenty since February 2012. Easily my least favourite class.
  21. So you're a troll? Why else would you mention this in two Flashpoints rather than a more suitable setting? Sounds like you were asking to be kicked.
  22. Probably the most accurate response. I'd love to see those two classes added, but the logistics of adding *a* new class, not to mention two new classes, is just too much work and too expensive. As someone mentioned above, BioWare would have to rework the entire game to add them. I don't believe they'd have to rework balance since these classes would be identical to Troopers/Imperial Agents, but adding in new class areas, adding new missions, adding four new voice actors/actresses for the player characters, adding new voice over for their story characters and companions, adding all the new voiceover for NPCs, and designing all the new gear is just too much for not enough profit unless this new expansion is very expensive.
