I live in the desert trap we call New Mexico and no I do not speak spanish.
  • Interests
My hobbies typically are more around hanging out with friends and family, working out, and MMOs
  1. To be honest I do not see a lot of questions. Just a bunch of statements
  2. Legalize the selling of gold huh? Sure why not go ahead make it okay to buy GOLD. I do not know about the rest of you, but I think I will keep working on farming credits, selling things on the GTN for credits and so on while this man here spends all his hard earned RL cash on GOLD. After all it won't effect those of us using credits. So go on good sir and buy that GOLD if they legalize it.
  3. Oh gosh everyone! I had no idea we were making monthly payments to enjoy our forums!! They game is clearly not making progress so let us pick the most irrelevant topics in the thread, or the ones that sound least intelligent so that we may try to make ourselves look better. Good game bioware let's just focus on the least important matters and as usual hide behind soon, at a later date, it is being worked on comments. Glad that the MMO I am paying for is becoming forum based focused.
  4. Done with the thread or not you clearly do NOT PAY ATTENTION. The issues that the majority of those who have quit, going to quit, or just have a complaint about the game has very little to do with what there is to do. Yes that is a complaint and yes it is a problem, but the bigger picture of the issue is the simple fact that most of these major bugs should be fixed. Not just the bugs either no, it is also the lack of communication with the community on THEIR WEBSITE. Even off their site you might find SOME news, but it is hardly relevant. There is no solving bugs and they have poor customer service beyond the likes I have ever seen. BTW their recent podcast was bragging about themselves, bashing the community, oh and thinking of ways to make the game so THEY the DEVELOPERS could enjoy it not their subscribers.
  5. Okay...I get tired of people saying we need to be patient knowing full well a large majority of us have had patience. Example of my patience here would be the fact that I had poor customer service. I had just finished my class quest on Voss and it had suddenly disappeared. FYI this was back in February. The class quest was NOT in my quest LOG. So I could not reset it, I could not pick it up from somebody nor could I start a conversation related to it ANYWHERE. I checked out every possible solution that I could do myself and found no answers. So, I decided to send in a ticket and Bioware responded appropriately at first. The key word being at first. They had no idea how to fix it so they escalated it. When they did they asked me a certain number of questions to which I replied in detail. They could not resolve and escalated again. Again I got the same questions and again I answered down to the tiniest of details. Still no solution. This went on for about a WEEK until I finally gave up. You know what I did then? I deleted the character. flamed a little (and had every right to do so), then sucked it up and moved on. I have spent several months thinking, "Hey this will get better with time." But no my server died and i started over AGAIN on a new server. I do not even want to begin on the list of bug fixes unsolved, the new ones they cause trying to fix the useless bugs that effects hardly anything (The missing matrix cubes we so kindly had to deal with another maintenance day for), the lack of communication to the community and the poor customer service. So please stop asking for patience we are hitting the 6 month marker soon with little to no improvement. The only valid excuses that are out the window would be, they are new to MMO's which is false and the second would be that MMO's are fresh to the gaming world and they are NOT. MMO's have been around for years now and so they have plenty of things to use as prime examples of what mistakes NOT to make. TL;DR: I had the patience with a missing class quest that never got fixed because the customer service and tech support are poor. It has been almost six months, Half a year for those who do not get that this is a VERY lengthy time period to get their stuff in order. Too many major bugs are still around and new ones come with every minor one that is fixed. So being patient has gone and past it is time we start getting the proper services and not a bunch of Dev's bragging about themselves and bashing their own community.
  6. My theory is that you post for the simple sake of posting with no logical meaning other than the wanted attention.
  7. You want a discussion on a thread you have made several times over. Which, by the way, some have been closed as it is. Oh and FYI I removed the orange text in your quote so nobodies eyes have to suffer.
  8. Is anybody else enjoying the fact that Sarfux has been posting the exact same thing every time his thread gets closed. The only thing that changes are the amount of words he uses. By the way the orange text does not make it cool. All it does is make it feel as if my eyes are going to puke.
  9. We as players, consumers, customers or whatever you wish to label us should not have to "hunt" for information on the MMO that we are playing. They should be telling us this information without having to do an easter egg search in hopes for some kind of news from them. Talk about poor customer service if that is what they expect us to do.
  10. Despite the fact that the color of your text just made my eyes puke. I feel I must point out that people are not un-subing just because they rushed to level 50. You are neglecting the fact that bioware has been incapable of fixing their bugs and has poor customer service. When they "fix" things it is usually something useless and does not effect the player base as a whole. When said bug is "fixed" suddenly new bugs arise and old ones return. Need I remind you about the matrix cube fiasco. Their customer service is by far inadequate. I spent an entire week explaining to them why I was un-able to progress my story line back in January. They wanted the same information every single time they supposedly escalated it to the "proper" group to help me with the issue. By the way....the issue was never resolved. I had to start over and level up to the end of chapter 3, which is also the LAST part, AGAIN. So please, do not assume all of those players who un-sub only rush to 50. I never rushed to 50 and am waiting out my free month at this point because I was patient and gave bioware time. The truth is this game has failed on several levels. So next time do a little research and realize there is a large player base quitting for a legitimate purpose.
  11. So in part of their pod cast (which they seem to have taken more time on than fixing bugs and important issues within the game itself) they mention that their teams LOVE to play the game. Are they playing a different game then us? Because they sure do not seem capable of solving issues that need to be solved as far as end game bugs and so forth. If they do fix some minor useless bug issues that effects nobody they manage to create a new major bug that effects EVERYONE. Need I remind you guys the missing matrix cubes. It is nice to see the developers are more focused on a pod cast and glorifying themselves rather than repairing the damage they have done to an ever slowly drop of subscribers. A good percentage will be gone once the free month is up as well.
  12. Here is the thing for those of us who are level headed and disappointed with the game. It COULD be a great game and should be one at that. However, between veteran Dev's who can't fix bugs without causing new major ones and poor customer service why complain about the players who leave? After all it is their money and they expect a quality gaming experience and are not receiving it. With a game that has had years in the works with roughly a year of Beta and going into the half year mark now since release we should be better of than this. The only valid excuse would be if they WERE new to the MMO world, but they are not. Not to mention the fact the the MMO genre itself is not new to the world so they had plenty of things to learn FROM. By the way if you did your research you would see the RIFT had just as clean, if not cleaner, launch as TOR and TOR still has not gotten past its launch hiccups.
  13. You seem to mistake pointing out flaws in the game for whining as well. Either way you are walking a double edged sword my friend. No matter what side of the spectrum you are on somebody is going to see something whiney about it. It does not matter if you love/hate or are somewhere in between. There is always a little bit of whining, but within the whining there is a little bit of truth on both sides. It is only a matter of whether or not you can handle the truth.Oh and by the way saying the game doesn't suck is a matter of opinion just like it is for those who claim it sucks. It is not the game that is the issue anyway. It is the developers and customer service all wrapped in to one that need to get together and think straight before they ruin a possible good thing.
  14. ^ This. Not much more needs to be added other than the fact that you can also say 4. They are Veteran MMO developers. 5. We are reaching the 6 month marker.
  15. Those in red are false by both accounts. First off if you watch the credits you will notice a good number of veteran developers. Second of all RIFT had a MUCH cleaner first year than SW:TOR is having right now.
