  1. Im not telling anyone to do anything. How you took this post is your own choice.
  2. Alright i am done with this post as my intentions were to give a renewed hope to a game that apparently everyone has some remorse for playing in the first place. My time spent playing this game obviously has a greater reflection than my overall gaming experience of 24 years. I dont need a level 50 in Star Wars to know the frustrations of playing an MMO where at the end game content level there is minimal interactions and very few things to do. Ive been there before on other games and it seems no matter how many times or ways i state that fact im still going to be treated as someone who is inexperienced regardless of any other factors.
  3. Also, i apoligize for my bad grammar. Ive been replying from my phone and sometimes it doesnt like to show me everything ive typed into the text box. Im not looking for fights are fumers, but simply input towards these issues. I understand how these frustrations impact your gameplay, but seriously if you dont like it then dont pkay it. If you did everything you could to rectify a problem and had no success, move on. This game is still in the works and we are here judging a palette of colors and effects before they can make it to the canvas for a portrait of exhilerating beauty. I have high hopes for this game and with how well Bioshock went under Bioware (as well as Dragon Age) im sure theere is a lot we can expect to be fulfilled.
  4. You assumed that im inexperienced to the frustrations that everyone in this game at level 50 is feeling. I states that ive only been pkaying a week because i wanted my responses to be lookes at as someone who has experiencce in playing MMOs, but just not this game entirely. I know the frustrations and i understand the lack of support, but what im trying to get at is that we are (as stated by a reply) still in vanilla. Its creamy goodness is there for learning experience. Im sure in the end (and i dont mean 6 months after its release date) this game will be just as flourished as WoW used to be. It has potential and i can see it easily outranking other MMOs as it already does. Stop using the "ive only played a week" against me as that wasnt the point of this post. Ive dont my research and ive read the haters' posts. This game is wonderful in many aspects, but you cant expect it to go from vanilla to polished overnight or even in 6 months. There is trial and error that needs to be accounted for as well as the opinions of every single subscriber; not just you.
  5. From what i have experienced (queing for pvp and looking for groups) i had some troubles finding players for most missions, but the few times i qued for pvp, i received entry after maybe 5 minutes at most. I guess it just depends on luck. Its bad to assume as it makes an ***** out of you and me. =]
  6. I get where all of you are coming from, and my short lived experience on SWtOR doesnt meant i dont undersrand the end-game content frustration. Im not looking to be a hater or a basher, but simply putting my opinions out there as any one else. Ive been a WoW player for 6 years and have taken many breaks due to boredom and lack of end-game features or even the fact that its so repetitive it makes the bosses look like regular mobs. I love many of the unique features in this game (cross-faction mail and item transfers, companions, versatile classes, etc.) But i do believe that with all the complaining ive seen and the fact this game hasnt even been out for a year really brings a bad look to the game. If i read all these posts about it before i actually tried it, i never would have picked it up. Alas, my boredom of WoW took hold and i wanted some fresh material. Sure, its your typical sword and board, but it has a back story that many of us already know (Star Wars saga) making it a first choice for most people. My biggest issue is what many of you are experiencing: low server populations and i completely agree that they should merge majority of the servers.
  7. This marks my first ever post and hopefully not my last. After playing SWtOR for a full week trying out the starting points and some further content on various classes has given me quite a bit of a feel for this game. I honestly love the design. The idea of giving people the chance to play as their favorite role from an (in my opinion) amazing story is perfect. However, the design is indeed lacking. This, im sure, will be gradually fixed as time goes on. Just like in WoW, nothing was ever really perfect and even today, there are still many issues that disconcerts all kinds of players. We need to be more patient with this game. Sure, some issues go unanswered, but there is only so much the developers can do in the time they have available to them. Personally, I think the starting locations should be race-based and not class-based. That is definitely going to get boring fast. Playing to enjoy the story is great, and personally, i think its perfect. However, end-game content should be just as abundant. If all level 50s have is a few "raids and instances" we are not going to want to sit on our 50s doing nothing. Thus where the starting points come in to play. Of course, all my informations is coming from what ive read here as well as researched. Some ideas i have: Starting locations by race. Possibly other force/non-force classes (fighter pilots?). The ability to choose what kind of starter ship you want rather than having them be class-based as well as the ability to purchase and upgrade ships to different hull types. Achievements - i know this is quite common, but honestly it is something to pass the time for higher level players. Build and reverse engineer droids - maybe build your own droid companion? I think that would be fun. Pod racing could inspire a completely different tier of end game content. I have a few other ideas, but ill end here. Hopefully i get some agreements here, but im also looking for some criticism. Ideas?
