  3. We're a 16 EC HM guild, and did a few bosses on SM last night for fun. I enjoyed it, but without at the very least, BH comms, it won't last long. At least when we gear up noobs in EC 16 SM I know I'll get a handful of BH coms on my main.

  6. Still looking for a few. We've pugged and cleared EC 16 HM 3 weeks in a row now because we can't fill from within on time.
  7. Dark Fury is currently recruiting progression raiders. We are a high end Empire raiding guild from Age of Conan primarily composed of working and mentally stable adults. We are governed by a small group of long time members rather than a singular leader; subsequently, we are drama and d-bag free. We are not overly large, but typically have 10-15 players online during non-raid times during EST evenings and weekends. We are one of, if not the most, active and and long standing Empire PvE guilds on this server. We've been in tact since pre-launch and remain unaltered in name, leadership, and activity. Additionally, we persisted in Age of Conan for many years prior to the launch of SWTOR. We also have a five bay bank and a weekly allowance of 30K for regular raiders and PvP'ers to cover repairs and upgrades. Additionally we provide alt and lesser-geared raids 1-2 times a week contingent upon attendance, a Republic and PTS guild, an active website, and a Ventrilo server. We currently raid Tuesday at 9:00 EST and Thursday 9:00 EST (DF NiM). Raiding is not required, but consistency always helps. We are recruiting a 1-2 competent DPS for Dread Fortress NiM (10/10 DF-DP HM) progression runs on Tuesday and Wednesday. Those with a competent tank or healer alt are preferred.   8. You're being ignorant if you think they're gonna broadcast bugs and exploits before they're fixed.
  9. Just lag and graphical error with ground plants. Happens a lot with Karragga's fire with far less consequences. In 8 HM you can either try to plant them neatly and hope you don't get one shot from lag, or you can just run constantly laying them down quite sloppily, but the downfall is you get further away making it harder to get back in time. Plus you'll lay down the 5th circle in a bad spot because he casts breath after the 4th and you'll be on your way back.
  10. You should have plenty of time to wait for the actual cast bar pop up before the second tank taunts him. I like to tank him on either side, in the middle, with my back against the wall so I don't get knocked far and he doesn't chase after me. Dropping purple on either side with that positioning.
  11. This is officially borked as of Tuesday. Unfortunate because it was the best one around.
  12. This sucks, but some people are clearly overreacting or have never played another MMO. So far they've had a pretty phenomenal record with patches outside of the 1.2 roll back.
  13. Mostly Rakata and a couple Columi with a bit of min-maxing your mods/enhancements to your liking. Could probably get away with more Columi than Rakata if you're augmented.
  14. Yeah, having force shroud when other tanks don't already makes some of the fights much easier. Like eating Soa lightning, resisting most Zorn damage, resisting Zorn's ground plants, resisting Keph's dot when he lands, resisting Keph's 60% purple ground plant, resisting Stormcaller's attacks, storm caller's lightning spires, resisting Karagga's fire, sorno's fire, etc. All these things that do big damage, are on very predictable patterns, and you can become immune to them every 45 secs! Plus you have 65% shield chance and a 2 min nearly immune bubble for defensible and parriable damage. We are fine. People need to be more aware.
  15. It sucks but we only lost like 3-4%. If you have you're set bonus you're still at 40%.
  16. We are fine on every boss. You're not putting a lot of thought into your tanking. Why would you blow 3 stacks of harnessed darkness right when a double destruction is about to drop? They come at the same time; always. It should not be a surprise. Think! Sins have the best situational bubbles and skills but you have to know the fights, timing, and types of damage or you'll derp it up. None of the fights are that bad (including 16 HM keph) if you're paying attention and on the same page with your healers.
  17. That guy was right. You have deflection for every other. You have overcharge, a relic, a blue med pac, and an armor adrenal (come prepared) to distribute through the others. You shouldn't have a problem. It's likely both you and the healers were not doing the best they could.
  18. Yeah I think it's best to move away from endurance since the nerf, not the other way around. I used to stack End up to about 28K in a raid, but I'm down to 25K and defense up to 34%. Endurance stacking was worth it with the self heal, but I'd look elsewhere these days. I don't even have much problem on a fight like 16 HM Keph where the healers should be focused on you through the whole final phase anyway because DPS should not be taking much, if any, damage.
  19. It's the first boss. You'll need a second tank to switch with and eat Canondale (right" arm glows) which will now tear through DPS high on the threat list. Rest is pretty much the same
  20. I've been Synthweaving since day one and I've been able to net 30 mil selling wrists, belts, hands, boots, and augments. Lots more if you consider I bought the bank and bays, gear out two other 50s, and several fresh 50 guildies buying their implants, earpieces, etc.
  21. That's not a fail safe, because as the poster above pointed out you can easily get placed in another instance from a player corpse left behind. Hence, they're not visible after you run back to rez them.
