  1. Do what you don't want to do. You do not want to run a stealth toon up to 75 You do not want to run Red Reaper dozens of times to get the gear up to 306. You do not want to continue to do this after getting to 306 so you can get gear for other toons so they can be 306. I did these things went from 283 to in less than 24 hours running red reaper over and over. Two man or three with a comp. No tank needed. You do not want to run a non stealth toon up to 75 You do not want to run Hammer Station dozens of times to get the gear up to 306. You do not want to continue to do this after getting to 306 so you can get gear for other toons so they can be 306. You do not want to continue to do this after getting to 306 so you can get gear for other toons so they can be 306. I got my six piece bonus after seven days since release. So it may be a pain and something you do not want to do but if you want it over and done with than you do it. Am I at BiS No and I will work at that for a long time but I know that I will pull up to 17k DPS with 228 augments in the new content. I expect that if I continue as I am now I will have all my toons at 75 in 306 gear without even leveling them up to 75 in less than a month. Once I do, they will put on their new shiny and go do something I like.
  2. First thing to think about with gearing is this it is all down to convenience. How fast you want to go and what you are willing to do to get there. I am sure I could have save a few million here and there had I not built a modded set first and made sure I was augmented. I have a 268 augmented set and I have now several 306 sets augmented. I got my Death Knell set within a week. As I work on getting mods, armoring, and enhancements I will start to move things around and that costs credits. Or tech to buy. How fast it goes is how much I am willing to spend. Had I nothing I might not be at the gear level I am at, but I would be real close. I have a buffer of credits but I will run out sooner than I like and I will have to do more things to earn more crdit so I can spend them again. If Crafting remains the way it is and they do not correct the insane requirements that are in no way balanced. I can make armoring 77 on my synth without conquest mats and the blues costing five but on my armortech it cost 8 to make the green? DID Someone just put numbers in by whim? If it remains broken I will be like most and take my crafters and turn them into mat farmers no reason not to as this would by me the things that I refuse to craft because of crazy requirements. Eventually they will fix things, so I will not drop the main crafters, but it will be a long time before I am able to craft anything worthwhile other than an augment or two here and there. So it is expensive and one of the most expensive expacs as the credits you earn are cut way down. the things we do to move mods around doubled the trash gear we sell is only worth 1/10th of what it was before and the gear cost credits as well. I have spent 60 million on four toons so ya I am going to be broke in no time. The one with so many fake friends getting free cartel coins every month needs to be limited to at most ten referrals had this been in play then there would not be dozens of billionaires on this game. It is too late now.
  3. I have to add that the choices in the saboteur Imp side to do a good job against the empire you have to choose DS choices to weaken them even further. All in all in my head cannon the Alliance still have an agreement with many of the remaining Eternal Fleet Gemini and that I only lost a few of the ships that were close to the Gravestone if I did not remove the strange altar thing or send the Gravestone to Iokath to remain as I would not want the ship close to any of my eternal ships. A very unsound tactical choice of a fool to do so. Having a third option would have split the galaxy in three and paved the way for three factions. Back to the Saboteur choice is at the point where they are saying that you are doing more damage in the position you are in is the point I would have driven my blade through Jonas's chest or disintegrated the droid. Come to think of it I would have destroyed the droid the moment I saw it as an offence to my status.
  4. From Kotor the only comp that moved around was T3 plus it was so much easier to make the static. At least you can make them talk sort of. Fix the comps so they do talk again. You know those moving lips the old comps have!
  5. when it allowed me to, but most of the time no other companions were allowed and when they were Theron would show up. Did not have the issue on the three other run throughs.
  6. I have a new Omen with 16gig and a SSD not a single issue with the ultra graphics I am running. So if you are running below the 8mb of ram needed and a dedicated graphics card for today's games then you can not blame the engine or the programming as your computer is not up to todays standards. I also realize that the grid or ISP that you are on can affect this but I live out in the country with a speed test and still get good service for the speeds. 23 to 29 down/6 to 9 up depending on test used. I was getting a lot lower with wifi. 10 down 5 up so go wired if you are not running wired. change your plan or pay for a VPN so they cant throttle you or upgrade your computer. Just switching from a lap top to a desk top will gain you a boost. This is all I can suggest, but I am sure those tech geeks can suggest better. Ask yourself this if you got the new Fallen Order for your computer could you play the game? If the answer is no way then it might be time to set aside some funds for a new rig. If the answer is yes then you need to look at the hops your ISP uses to get to the server. Some routes maybe shorter but the packet lose is noticeable. FPS is graphics, Latency is your route connection. Shadows and water effects are your enemy.
  7. All four story options finished. Don't read for this includes general spoilers. I did the story on both sides. The pubside on my Knight. Shadow for the Saboteur. The Impside on my warrior and the saboteur on an assassin. Republic Loyalist Knight story was the best of the four as far as construction of the story and how it flowed into the other. My choices were very consistent for a light side character that lead her group and really desired to help the Republic win the war against the Sith Empire. Seeing both Scourge and Kira at the end really boosted my spirits after having to pretty much solo everything without a companion. Not happy that they had a glitch that prevented you from gaining Jakaro or Arn in the story because you had an active kotfe/et chapter. Sith Loyalist Inquisitor story was nearly as good as you got to deal with the dark council and work with them as you would if you were still part of the Sith Empire. The options to influence them or to contradict what they were doing went well with being a Sith and Dark side, but some options were just stupid or wasteful. Killing civilians with no military goal other than to be evil is not practical and a stupid waste of resources. My Sith sees this as weakness, not strength. Killing the other Dark council members for their mistakes or pandering to other goals was pointless as well. My evil serves a purpose. I also did not bribe any of the voters though I did kill Veet. I didn't send Koth after the Exchange to allow them to thrive on Mek Sha, but I wanted to see this option as it would help Mandalorians more. Saboteur Pubside saboteur was childish and stupid in its construction. I felt bad to make any of the choices and the interview was the warning of how it would go. My consular is not stupid and the choices to flub the interview were badly written. This carried through the story with every decision and did not feel Evil or even bad. Just stupid bad to the point where my character should be wracked with guilt. Killing Narloch was a waste and the letter from his daughter drill in the feelings of guilt. The point I got from the entire story was this was wrong. Wrong to deceive the Republic, wrong to withhold this from Theron, and just wrong to undermine Arn and Tau Adair's relationship as master and student. The only good part was allowing Major Anri to complete her mission. This allowed her to know that you were a double agent. Kind of. Having to deal with a droid the whole time and the no name Sith as the master behind your defection seemed weak as well. Having no clear option that I wanted my alliance to remain separate didn't help in the end. At the end the discussion with Scourge and Kira removes everything you did against the Republic as pointless as removing all fragments of Vitiate to be above all other choices. Republic side saboteur is the worst of all four choices. Imp side Saboteur Very well done if you ignore the stupid choices which are not hard being light side. Killing off the dark council felt very satisfying to do as it would be a goal to eliminate the dark council from the ability to support Empress Acina. Their lack to see that I am a defector is poorly done almost as if they can not even think of the possibility. Come now these are Sith and they do not trust anyone. I would have expected to defend my failed actions with violence or slippery words, but no it is just inconceivable to them to think I would defect. Still, this story line fits better than the loyalist Sith story. It also fits better into my view that the war must end and with that the Empire must die as a product of Vitiate. This was fine for a chapter like story but not as an expansion story. I would expect several chapters combined into one. Though it falls in line with the way story has been released for the last few years and to expect a Revan type story line a bit hopeful, but it should have been at that level. This is story bracket is in line with how Oricon is set up and not as an expansion story should be. You left the story lacking and unfinished. Good for a chapter cliff hanger not a full story. I do hope you plan to continue the story in a timely manor. Story quest content on Onderon and Mek Sha. I am impressed with the lack of glitches in the quest as a whole with only one quest on the Pub side being incomplete with a bad ICD or spawn trigger on the datapad needed. The need to have two people in the pub heroics was a surprise and an aggravation as I could solo the Imp side ones. Overall the choices were not bad, but the story was weak except for a Jedi Knight. This goes in with the poor choices that you get and the corralling your character gets from the plot direction being poor. Losing the Eternal fleet to the Gravestone in one big cluster goes against even an idiots concept of military organization as you never keep all you eggs in one basket. I would never keep all my ships in one system. They would have been spread throughout my territory defending and patrolling the former Zakuul Empire. Or my Empire depending on choices made to dissolve the Empire or be the new Empress. However, this is a different story issue altogether. The biggest failure I think for bringing the Jedi vs Sith part of the game back is not creating cut scenes with the class ships being used. Why if after my Eternal Fleet is destroyed would I use a fighter or a shuttle to do what my class ship was better designed to do? I ran an alliance with my consular on my ship. I have done several battles with my ship and the other expansions showed me in my ship. My ship, my home, my base of bases for my characters no matter the story. I am a commander and not some fight jockey or some minor leader. I lead an entire alliance so it should have shown me in my command chair guiding my alliance. So in final I give the following ratings. Launch for a clean download. 8/10 Loyalist Knight Republic story 9/10 Loyalist Warrior Imperial story 7/10 Saboteur Shadow Republic story 3/10 Saboteur Assassin Imperial story 6/10 Main failing is the story and the amount of quests to be lacking and too short. Alternative characters and the ease of the story and replay ability of the stories. 9/10 As the shortness of the story allows the content to not go stale as fast as a longer story line would. Makeb being the best example of a quest line you only can do a few times. Which is only slightly worse than the chapters, but that is my opinion. Ossus for story was the easiest to repeat over and over again, but again it was more to do with speed and the need to open up Ossus for the dailies. Gearing 6/10 Still, horrible, but with the counter it is very alt friendly once you hit 306 and then you can start spreading out the gear you are getting to your alts. So if you want functional gear than this is one of the fastest ways to go. If you want the best then the worst. You lose points for the shear RNG factors in all the drops and vendor gear with not one guarantee for a solid gearing path to BiS gear. Crafting 1/10 for being broken You lose points for making crafting nearly impossible and to expect anyone from making an effort to actually craft like we have in the past impossible as only diehard crafters will continue to craft and only the ones that do not realize yet that the system is time consuming and completely broken. Once they see they are losing money or credits because the costs are to high for the economy to support they will stop as well. The issues stack on top as there are so many credit sinks in the game. From amplifier re-rolling system to the cost of gaining the new crafting levels. The cost of the missions and the loss of time compare to mk10. The devaluing of what little trash drops you get to the complete lack of BOE drops that would sell on the GTN has gutted that aspect of gaining credits. With all this it will be very hard to save as you constantly have to pay more to do anything. Even removing mods costs double. The regular players will not have the credits to cover the prices the crafters will demand for their efforts. Overall this is not the broken expansion I was expecting and once the shock of the new system wears off it is bearable, but only so much. The RNG is an aggravation that we really did not need and crafting being broken will be a game changer more than RNG will be as crafted items will have a lot higher rarity. Taking years to make the most basic of sets has broken crafting. As far as general play or casual play there will be no real impact as long as you can kill stuff and the story is decent than it is fine on that front. Not sure how bad this is going to be for dedicated progression raiders as they struggle to get to BiS level. The biggest issue is whether the NiM content will be balanced correctly to make it playable at level 75 without it being a cakewalk or completely broken like chapter one of KOTET. Time will tell if this expac will do what the developers hope or will be rejected in mass by the subscribers. I will leave my decision on leaving or staying blank.
  8. I second this and want to add that it has also broken my utilities on my guardian that resets my Force Jump. Give me back my old cool down timer for my Force Jump. I am not a sentinel so I don't need a second jump when fighting and if I did I would push them to get it. Why do you consistently not listen and give us crap that doesn't work or breaks it? We do not need a tactical that gives us a second jump when we already have it through utilities?????????????? Or give us a tactical that if you kill a mob while it is affected by whirlwind something resets when whirlwind heals the target until it breaks. There is no way to one shot 99.9% of the mobs that can be affected by whirlwind..
  9. IT WAS 10+10+10 It is now for Biochem 8+10+10 For the 268 implants it is 5 Isotopes you get about six from a flash point 2 Cell grafts and 20 Data spikes. Before it was 10 Isotopes 10 Matrix from conquest 8 Cell grafts and 20 Data spikes. So still too much but better than before. Still broken but not destroyed. Until then use MK10 stuff

  11. Wow some of you are way to lost to be saved. This is nowhere near the level the Revan expac was. First you have and entire planet with dozens of quests to complete. THis is part of the Prelude to Revan. 6 flashpoints 6. Then you get Manaan as a planet you can go back to and later a Stronghold. Add on the Revan expac and you have Yavin with the finish of the story, a daily area and the Operation. That is an expac. Dozens of quests and expanding the story the whole time. Ossus was longer than this was. We get two partial planets with dailies after and a flashpoint like third area to Corellia. An operation Prelude of Revan and Revan was 6 to 12 hours or more of content. If you add in Ossus and Dantooine with Onslaught you might get three hours of content. The rest of the budget they spent on nothing but changing everything about the gearing system and how end game gear works. Breaking all the advanced classes of the game to the point where you will only see one class in PVP doing anything effectively. RNG for everything and a gear grind on top of everything that will take so long to get to 306 BiS that the game will be deleted from private servers before you get there. There is no story here this is only good enough for the run up to getting Kira and Scourge back. A series of side quests with a weak NPC and a star power snowflake Padawan. Had they left the gearing along. brought out a single new set for each class that was comparative to the current class the amount of changes would have been trivial on the budget and they could have brought out twenty more story quests to further the story, they could have made a planetary quest line, the daily area for both Onderon and Mek Sha and a proper new section to Corellia plus they could have made a story line on the Dxun moon including the tome and would lead up to the operation. WE get ten quests But then again all their brain power went to Fallen Order. THIS IS A Side Quest. Nothing more not an addition and no where near the level of a proper expansion. WoW has expansions. This was a joke a Korean MMO could do better in a week.
  12. Can we finally after all these years get the ability to abandon chapter quests since they are repeatable. THERE SHOULD BE NO REASON FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO DO SO!!!!! THERE SHOULD BE ABSOLUTELY NO REASON I CAN NOT USE ANOTHER COMPANION AS JAKARRO IS ONLY NEEDED FOR CUT SCENES. Or how about you stop giving us trash companions to work with! I have 12 level fifty companions and I give about as much of a concern about the newer comps as I do about vendor trash. Oh my I get Jakarro. On any other toon than my Jedi I would have left him in his cage on Manaan to die. Tau I would have left her on the farm. On another note why would I use some trash shuttle if I have my personal ship back?

A can't log in sign up sheet. Then again if you can't log in you can't sign up. There will be a ninja hanging contest (they ninjaed your quest item) once we can figure out how to arrest them, so they can face justice. Remember it is BYOB and BYOC (bugs and complaints)
  15. Meh Disney cannon is dead to me, but nice video too bad the story is fanfiction. Would love to see the Lucas story treatments on how he wanted the last three movies to go. At least then all the original cast would have been together in at least one scene. There would have been some cutting edge movie tech included in the making of the movie. They would have passed the torch instead of throwing it over their shoulder. Then again Lucas didn't really follow the pointers in the first three as Luke's father was an adult when he was trained. Then again Ben was lying. The saddest thing will be if this film is what the other two should have been in the first place. A total shame if it is.

  17. They are immune to the effect of Force Push but not the damage it does. Even so the effect is used to gain an additional bonus to damage output. While most Focus Guardian would use Force Exhaustion against a boss, Force Push isn’t an ability typically used in this situation. But using Force Push now triggers the “Joiner’s Pressure” Tactical, giving our Guardian an additional 20% damage boost! That part tells me that he knows. I use Force Push as a filler as it does more damage than some of my other fillers.
  18. The nerf was needed but not necessarily a full removal of the effect. If you are a NiM raider the only choice for tank was sin and so with the ability of a sin or shadow to survive those fights where a jug/guardian or PT/VG could not is game breaking for pve. That meant the NiM operations were not properly tuned with the tanks that we have. With the nerf in place the tanks are all back on a more level field. PT/VG could still use a survivability boost to be more consistent than RNG.

I found out and I was mad, but then I warned everyone, but now after a few days I am still angry, but not in the way someone who just got punched, this is just another frustrated angry, but on the other hand I see it as well they at least said something so we did not have to push for this week conquest any further. I also see this as a simple programming option and really if any of us had any experience with programming or spreadsheets then you would know if I change value x to reach goal z than the new value had to be achieved. So personal goal still worked fine, but guild goal would not unless you exceeded the goal for the new value. If they shortened the timer on guild rewards to give out on Monday than the old values would still be valid. This used to be the case when conquest ended and you had eight hours before the next conquest started. No issues then but with only an hour pause now and this happening later in the day after the application of 6.0 we all should have expected it to happen this way. Do you really want a reward that contains outdated items? Big guild small guild I have been part of both and well I don't talk that much to big guild peeps, but I do talk to my small guild peeps. I stay with who I can talk with. Big guilds are a function to get achievements or do a few things you can't in smaller. Recruiting is the life blood of any guild and if you don't recruit then you have nothing to complain about with conquest cause you are not a conquest guild.
  20. Bitraider or not depends on the type of hardware you have. Since I have an SSD now and windows 10 I have not seen a single hiccup. Then again I download while sleeping and refresh in the morning if it didn't work right before going to work and then I can play when I get home. Wanting to play early is a sure sign it will glitch. If I have not been able to download before going to work I will take a nap while I wait.

I play on Star Forge and it is busy 95 easy on fleet or more. 100 to 150+ on starter planets som days is not empty unless you think if we don't have 18 maps open at all times it is too empty??? When Ossus came out there was 25 maps open and so Star Forge waxes and wanes depending on the time of the day or the day of the week. Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 5PM eastern to midnight Pacific time is prime time for most. If you do not play during those times it can seem empty.
  22. The first step would and this is the hard part is to sub on a new account if you cannot get the original phone number back. If you can get that number you then can receive the text that Hotmail will send you. By you posting here it shows you have a new account. Customer service for swtor if you get the right one could give you new access to your account if you have enough information about your account in your head to say what your character names are or what they might have or the other security information you might know. anything could help. But it could also hinder if you don't say the right things. Getting you Hotmail back is the biggest key and that requires the phone number. Don't call them if you know where they live. Give them a visit or just find out if the number is available and change your current number to that one. I would love to get a hold of my starter account, but by the time I did I was too invested in the account I have now, and because I was not careful with the log on and password I lost access again. I know where you are coming form. as this is just a game but you are a founder I lost access to a job site and they will not allow a new account since it is linked to my SSN and there is no number to call to speak with anyone to fix this as I have no longer the phone email or address to get access to the account, so I am restricted from applying for certain jobs. Now that is something I can relate to. Keep trying, don't give up.
  23. Your original companions are coming back to your ships if you found them. Lana and Theron are on your bridge as well. What I would like to do is have several decoration hooks added to the ships so that you can move things around a bit to better suit your style and give a bit more uniqueness to the ships. That taking someone on your ship is rare, but this could be a big boost to QOL for RP and everyone in particular. I mean really I have my vendor droid in the lower cargo hold where every thing else is in the side room with my actual cargo hold on the upper level. Or that my mail box is on the bridge and not with the holocom. Maybe I want to add bed to the ship where my cargo spot is on the jedi ship so my crew doesn't have to sleep on the floor? I could then move my cargo holds to the cargo hold. Add a few pictures on the blank walls, ad some small decos or gasp a couch I can sit on or a game I could make it look like I was playing like the toy!!! So many little things that could happen. Another thing would be a free flying area for our ships. A practice area like for starfighter. Doesn't have to be that complicated. Maybe a hanger bay to land and take off from or a random target field to fly around in. Now this would be a major request suggestion. Still it is something that I am sure will make this game that much different than any other.
  24. There is a vendor that gives command armor skins not sure if they are all represented, but it is an option. It just depends where Frenzied Instigator's Chestguard comes from. I would love it if they would bring back every armor set skin that they had previously in the game. OR That the boss that dropped them before would still drop them. I have a set that I have the wrong belt for and would like to correct it, but have yet to find a similar belt. This would be a big QOL addition to the game with those skins being available. Even if it said pseudo or copy said piece if not gotten through nim or vet mode operations. Vendor version of Frenzied Instigator's Chestguard
