  1. On the flip side you could argue that servers having this issue that require cross server queuing don't have enough of a community to really have pride for it. Honestly, I'd rather be able to do a dungeon when I have time to play instead of wasting time asking in general chat for 15-20+ minutes (many times even longer) for a group and still roll the dice if one can even form up.
  2. Considering the amount of servers that are "light" during all but the busiest times, I hope it's sooner than later.
  3. GameFront got an interview with James Ohlen at PAX. http://www.gamefront.com/pax-east-swtor-interview-achievements-ui-mods-cross-server/ It looks like there's some good news coming? Cross server queuing? Yes please. I wish more questions were answered, but given the blandness of those that were asked at the mass effect panel I guess we take what we can get.
  4. I believe 95% percent of the people viewing this thread agree with you.
  5. companions need love too. But right now there is no way to convert centurian or champion pvp commendations to the higher version. All they changed was the ability to buy a BM token for the stupidly large value of 1000/1000 merc/warzone comms and buy champ comms for (I think?) 175 warzone comms
  6. The reason they introduced resilience into WoW's pvp gear is because the pvp'ers were complaining about being unable to do anything to the end-game pve raid geared people who would join matches. The only way to be competitive at that time was to raid 40mans to get the best gear in the game. PvP'ers weren't about that and wanted their own assortment. WoW introduced resilience gear to make it attractive to pvp'ers but not so much for those who primarily raid. Now, the other side of that would be if you removed expertise from this games pvp gear the pve'ers would be the ones complaining that gear is far too easy to get as they have to go through, by comparison, difficult and long encounters to get equivalent gear pvp'ers can get through a much easier method which would kill off pve content. Sure, you do it for fun no doubt however I'm sure many players don't simply pvp or pve and do a mixture of both, where this presents a problem.
  7. Except that it's broken. Don't be so pretentious about it assuming you are all knowing based on your limited experience. For all we know it could simply be broken for certain classes. I don't know if it's true, but from my view I've noticed many of the people that complain about it are Inquisitors who find themselves with a full resolve bar and stunned to death AFTER said resolve bar has filled itself. I have, several guildies I play with, along with a bunch of others I play pvp with in game have noticed it doesn't always work right. All of us have been chain stunned with a full resolve bar. It's not simply not being able to move, we're unable to ACT. Does it work at times? Sure, but not always. Hence, broken.
  8. Healers get 4 medals by only healing. 2.5k healing in one hit 5k healing in one hit 75k healing 300k healing That's all we get as healers. If they're getting more it's because of the warzone's system awarding to all (defender medals, etc..) I don't understand the issue as they're just trying to hit their 4 medal cap before the match ends. DPS/Tanks on the other hand get oodles of chances to get their 4 medal cap thanks to the plethora of medals that are awarded for doing damage and guarding/taunting
  9. I'm sorry what? I couldn't hear the complaints over the gravround spamming. Seriously though. they are mirrored just fine against their counterpart. We say the same about troopers being overpowered being able to take a nearly endless amount of damage, heal themselves and spam gravround over and over again just like republic players say the same about bounty hunters (replace gravround with tracer missile)
  10. Basically, you're saying why are they even playing video games at all? Part of the fun of playing games is getting new stuff to use. Just because you think all games should be a sandbox doesn't mean others do.
  11. What I meant was that if they attained that title, they played enough warzones to know what not to do. If they still did it they were either too slow on the uptake or just didn't care and trolled.
  12. ^^ many of us have played these same three maps enough to understand what people mean without having to think it through.
  13. Getting to that rank was a sense of accomplishment. If you saw people in pvp with that rank you at least understood they knew what had to be done to win the warzone (not screw around in center in huttball fighting the tank with 2 healers healing him untouched) Also, the stat difference from champion to bm isn't exactly stellar. Perhaps you should check it out before making the statement that BM gear makes people godmode. There's a better stat bonus going to champion from centurian than champion to battlemaster.
  14. wall of text says you're whining because you can't get full champion in a day. How about you play the game and get the commendations over time like the rest of us. lazy kids, I swear.
  15. While their spam abilities (each have ONLY ONE by the way) should be tweaked a little by making them more expensive to use, they're fine otherwise. Tracer Missile and Grav Round should cost more to cast and force lightning/whatever the pub equivalent name cost more force to maintain. It's a simple fix and doesn't require huge nerfs across the board.
  16. Unless the bug that resets the forcefield when a door is opened was never fixed, like it hasn't been. I've been booted out simply because of that. They should just add a re-spawn timer instead. Smart groups will regroup before heading out of a spawn point anyway.
  17. hardly any healers play pvp to begin with. I'm usually the only one in my warzones. You want them to stop queuing altogether because you want to swarm them? Watch them stop healing and start pewpewing because they're tired of being a constant target. Healers are people too
  18. as a healer, it needs to be removed. Why? F you, that's why. You play a healer and know you're constantly marked in a warzone always to be attacked first. Yeah, it's lots of fun to be singled out like that. Learn to know what to look for. All you're asking for is a handicap be given to you because you can't play well. Tough.
  19. I premade queue with my guild because I'm a healer and I'm tired of solo queueing with a bunch of people who don't care about anyone but themselves. When I queue with my premade group I know there are players on our team that will help keep me alive so I can do the same for them. I'm perfectly fine with ranked warzones having a solo queue option, just as much as they have a group queue one. Simply because you don't have friends to play with doesn't mean the rest of us don't.
  20. Don't forget while complaining why they don't get healed enough.
  21. My priority for giving out medals is simply this: Healers - Whoever busted their butt healing everyone they could while getting slaughtered by people swarming them Tanks - I look at guard numbers. Chances are they put guard on a healer as healers are primary targets to any person worth one's salt in pvp. This is their way of protecting them so they can continue to keep the group alive while they run around like cockroaches when you flip on the lights in a slum apartment. Objective takers - If someone is obviously being awesome and taking objectives to win the warzone rather then running around trying to kill the battlemaster that they think they can beat they deserve medals. They don't get anything for doing this now, but they should. DPS - Why last? Because everyone does it. If I see someone that does a huge amount of damage over the average amount of others, obviously they're doing something right and not with the herpderp mentality like I've seen in HuttBall in some DPS who think it's a Team DM arena.
  22. Same. I mean, I love the 2-3 medals a match I get when I heal for 4-500k healing when dps just farts at an opponent and gets a free medal.
  23. any class they can't kill is too strong 1v1 for most of these people.
  24. It's called grab a tank friend and have him put guard on you. It's something most of these people don't understand happens in pvp for healers they know can keep both of them alive while they heal everything else around them as well. It's just one of those real reasons that it can be difficult to kill a sorc in pvp by those who don't understand the mechanics of this game and only see a result, not the cause of what they are complaining about.
  25. If a sorc specs into their lightning tree they get chain lightning and thundering blast. Both are slower cast time strong strikes. Most pvp sorcs go our madness tree for the mobility of using dots and the constant force lightning spam.
