  1. OMG I knew I wasn't the only one seeing this! Thrash spamming sorcs are simply OP they MUST be turned down a notch. Plis make sorcs take damage when they trash, they are supposed to be masters of the force should hurt themeselves trying to be martial, instead of OMGONESHOTMELEEKILL
  2. This should be stickied, in fact bioware should drop their charade of sorcerer favoritism, and nerf the dps of sorcs after getting hit by a smash by 99%. Also they should add a brand new passive ability. "Force Afinity: When the sorcerer kills a weak target he gains 0.0001% dps increase, when the target is a strong or a enemy Player, the Sorcerer's affinity to the force is cut killing himself." Thirdly to solve the massive problems of Overload, anyone affected by it should get a speed increase. I mean guys this is the only way to balance the game.

  4. huh another ex-warlock, about lightning I'll tell you what it is, its not arcane nor destro, its an ele shammy the effects even some of the names are copy paste from wow. Lightning strike = lightning which you spam, Thundering Blast = Lava burst which you cast and get an instant crit if corruption (fire shock) is on the target. Chain Lightning acts as the proc instant lava burst but AoE. I would welcome whole heartedly a shift to make it more authenthic tho...

Guys talking about lightning in pvp, I see 3 problems that have prevented it from becoming a true contender to madness, correct me if you feel I am wrong. - Casting, madness has to channel at most meaning whatever happens interrupted or not madness sorcerer dish out damage, this is supposed to be an intended drawback to be set off by the burst of lightning that well I feel is not there anymore... -Survivability, Lightning sorcs have a single survival protection and thats static barrier and thats it. -Random CC. While madness gives the sorc full control of its cc's Lightning relies on the random barrier mez for the kiting, but I suppose this is per design... OK that I can immediately think of Solutions! -Cast while moving, would it be OP to make lightning strike cast-while-moving for lightning sorcs? I think it'd solve the uptime problem and give us a bit more of survivability, and it destabilize the PvE minimally -Make recklessness not be consumed by thundering blast -.- pls....
  6. I just came back since launch... and to my surprise whirlwind is no longer instant cast!? The talents make it 1.4 sec cast yet even then.... I have noticed either a) I never get to finish the cast when I really need it, or when it does go off it doesn't really feel like its worth it... Resolve bar full with a minor stun = bad? So apart from incredibly situational plays do sorcs ever use whirlwind in pvp? Or can I safely unbind it and put it from something close and put it in the side
  7. WAIT WAIT WAIT This is actually quite wierd some are saying it "clips all over the place" others "its the tops 'flaps'"! Does that mean there is a body type that actually doesn't clip!? I got my body type 2 sorc with the leggings and it clips through the legs ALOT I can cover most of it with a dancers outfit though (That's how I've lived through it...). I know that the clipping is worse with Body type 3, but don't know 4 or 1!! I mean I would change bodies to 1 just for the leggings but I dont wanna spend the cc's just to test it and change back in disappointment D: Also. PLEASE BIOWARE! Make the skirt shorter or FIX the damn thing! (Can I expect that to happen ever...?)
  8. I remember when I made a commando and first got HIB.... it sounded/sounds SOO MUCH like a fart, and not of the funny ones... >_<
  9. To be honest I am not 100% sure why that is.... but I know that 10-49 warzones are really un-friendly to melee specs, somehow commandos, etc 3 shoot you down there.... So yea it does get better
  10. So true ^^ but I believe thats a radically different spec than what I am using (he's running a NON-RS build I believe) and just how few openings he actually has to use flamethrower is the reason I favor the RS build
  11. Thanks ^^ I chose retracted armor simply because I realized my greatest threats were actually either snipers or marauders, so I saw it as a trade-off between 2% global dmg reduction, or about 6% damage reduction on vs mainly marauders/snipers/juggs.
