  1. Aramyth

    Best healer atm.

Oh go away. Why are you promoting bubble stuns?
  2. rofl tell me about it. We should at least be able to put it on 4 people. And for the love of all that is good, please remove that useless Hammer Shot triggering Trauma Probe passive. So useless. Don't even get me started on the fact that they gave our AoE heal in it's current form to ALL commandos.
  3. First off: Adrenaline Rush as a Combat Medic is nothing short of a nerf. If you keep your health >30% to utilize it, you will die once it's over. It needs to be reworked. It takes 5 skill points to increase Trauma Probe as you say. You HAVE to put 2 points into that MASSIVELY USELESS passive before it (forget what it's called) but forces Trauma Probe to trigger when you shoot an enemy with Hammer Shot. Um, yeah. Mind you, I'm specced into it anyway because 3 extra charges and 15% more is great, but FIVE skill points?
  4. Maybe it was slightly bugged then because I never had it take ammo even after 3 rounds and the tooltip didn't have an ammo cost in it. :/ For a skill that uses 1/4 of your resources, it should hit like a bus.
  5. Can we get a settin to increase the draw distance? I can play on very high settings yet I still have to suffer stuff like am grass being draw only 10-15m in front of me. Talk about looking like junk.
  6. Explosive Round has gone back to being useless at a 25 Ammo cost on the PTS, it was free before the last patch. It's now useless again. Why can't it cost 10 Ammo or something? The damage isn't high enough to warrant 25 ammo.
  7. The sith inquisitor one looks like a praying mantis. WHAT is going on here? How can people possibly like this armour? Who in ther right mind at bioware said "YES, let's put this in the game" because whoever it is needs to get their **** together.
  8. Commando Combat Medics got **** all to help with healing. Wow. And a nerf to Adrenaline Rush. and they're giving my AOE heal to all Commandos.
  9. I better be one of those commandos you speak of. As for the OP, you're silly. How can you be so blind as to not ask for a buff? Commandos are the worst healers in the game. Here is why; IF A COMMANDO IS NOT ACTIVELY HEALING YOUR TEAM THEN THEY ARE NOT HELAING AT ALL. Commandos have one very small unnoticeable HoT, scoundrels have two and Sages have their massive AOE heal Commandos are supposed to be single target healers. The problem is Bacta Infusion. Scoundrels get Emergency Medpac which uses upper hand and has no cast time. The fact it uses upper hand makes it superior to Bacta Infusion. Now BI is at the top of the combat medic tree, it should be the BEST single target heal in the game meaning it should heal for 9k or so on a critical, not it's rough 4.7k (crit) it does now Slap a small HoT on Kolto Bomb and I think it would bring the balance up just fine. The only reason other healers can heal for more is simply because of HoTs. You can put a hot on multiple people and heal them and use your casts. If you were to take an equally skilled Sage/Scoundrel/Commando and put them in the same scenario and then put them head to head in total healing the Commando will ALWAYS finish last. Always.
  10. It saddens me to hear this. Honestly. And I'm one of the people who will run around in the pvp area killing everything in sight. Getting people to accidentally get flagged though is a load of crap. They should make it so AOE attacks don't hit people who flagged for pvp if you are not flagged for pvp. As for healing people with a pvp flag, it still has to trigger.
  11. Except that isn't what is happening. The PvP players aren't "breaking into" your game to kill you, you went into the multiplayer. It was your choice. You don't have to. The quests may be PvE based quests, in a sense where you still interact with the environment to complete the quests but they are in a PvP are where you are forced to flag for PvP and therefore are PvP quests. Why is this so hard to comprehend? If you don't want to get killed by other players, don't have PvP gear, don't like getting ganked or whatever else then do not go into the PvP area. Simple. Don't do the quests. You don't have to. You can get reputation items from the strictly PvE quests and the PvE world bosses. Do those. It is simple. If you do not wish to engage in PvP do not go to areas which flag you for PvP.
  12. This is mine. Pretty basic stuff here, but I like it alot. http://img651.imageshack.us/img651/2784/commandog.jpg
  13. This happened to me as well. I'm Canadian and the last time I called them it cost me $30 in long distance fees. So I was super reluctant to do it again. What I did was have a friend call tem from the US and we did the call over teamspeak over the phone. You have to make sure it's someone you can trust though.
  14. So like almost every other MMO out there that has animal mounts?
  15. This is a thread that I am how got a bump, even if it's really old. The lack of day and night in this game really helps to add to the dead feeling of every planet. It makes me feel like I KNOW I am playing inside a world that was dragged and dropped around the Hero Engine as opposed to feeling immersed in the world.
  16. I'm talking strictly numbers. However, I play my commando regularly with a sage healer and we have very similar play styles in terms of keeping focus on the objective etc and she will normally always best my healing numbers. (Ill more frequently top her numbers in Huttball, where she often spends time setting up pulls.) My point is if you have a Sage/Scoundrel vs a Commando with very similar playstyles then the Sage/Scoundrel will mostly always heal for more. As for commandos being single target specialists I really don't see how we are. Our biggest heals are still on par with a Sages biggest heal. I believe out cast times are slightly lower. And Bacta Infusion; which for a top tier skill is weak in comparison to other healing classes. I personally think it needs a boost.
  17. You must be playing with bad Scoundrels and Sages. They should always beat you in healing if they are as skilled as you, or better. It's simply a matter of numbers. As a commando, you have no HoTs (trauma probe barely counts), which means if you aren't actively casting a heal on someone, you're not healing at all. Scoundrals and Sages have HoTS they can use and heal in addition to those HoTs ticking off.
  18. You guys get so side tracked. The green beam needs to be changed. For pvp it's horrible. The Mercenary's stream of green bullets isn't nearly as noticeable as the green beam. Mind you, I only really use hammer shot if I'm in dire need of healing on the move or I'm out of ammo for some reason. It's basically like jumping around shouting "kill the thing on one side of this beam cause it's already dying, then come kill the other cause it's out of ammo".
  19. Keep in mind they're data mined. With that being said, like my commando really needs to be any harder to kill. :/
  20. You can solo defend long enough for help to come. I play a healing commando and have defended alone and have only been capped once. Personally I like the faster cap time and feel like all WZs would be more intense of they were 6 seconds instead of 8 seconds.
  21. Sounds more like the bug that can cause people to be invisible. I'm not sure how it happens. But it happened to me. Could you see his weapon?
  22. I feel like this should at least be the case with certain items on the market. Maybe not all because st the end of the day the Cartel Market exists to make money.
  23. Wanting a decent/good/fun environment to play in is completely valid. I just find it ironic that he would casually flirt with people in a non -LGBT guild and expect to get no flack for it. (Because if he is gay he is most likely flirting with the men in the guild and I imagine that some would find it awkward etc.) As for what you say to Candy, well, lol, that's your business.
