I want to see this too. I love doing social content, but I accumulate social points so slowly doing this that the higher level stuff seems to be permanently out of my reach.

I have enjoyed the macrobinocular stuff - especially the puzzles, which is a nice gameplay change - but find using the seeker droid incredibly tedious.

Besides the fact that societies don't inevitably move along a fixed course from "primitive" to "advanced" the same way (and at the same rate), there is also the fact that aesthetics don't really map that closely to technology - what LOOKS "primitive" and what IS "primitive" can be different. It would be cool to see the RotJ armor in the CM, though, I guess.

I have seen as much unheralded awesome behavior as bad behavior. Case in point: apparently, I am terribad at high level content. But asking in chat (in a non-begging way, just a general "please help if you are able and willing") for someone to help me take out bosses in Makeb and Oricon has gotten at least one volunteer every time. And I never check if they are F2P or subs or what. Maybe I should, for anecdata purposes.

What I did was do all the planetary and side quests for 1 imp and 1 pub character, and for my other alts I am leveling via KDY and doing the class quests only. That way I only ever do any given storyline quest once. Some of them I may choose to revisit, just to make different choices. And of course I have to do every quest in the prologue to hit 15. But this only works for me because I have as much fun my 100th run through KDY as my first. YMMV on that.

I've asked for this before, and seen it suggested before plenty of times. It's a great idea and they should do it.

Heck, my sniper is completely straight. And in a relationship with Temple already. But of all the times in the game where he had to choose between letting a Sith lord live or die, the only time that he didn't choose the kill/let die option was with Cytharat. he would be honored to serve alongside one of the few decent Sith lords, whoc ares more about the Empire than his own petty power struggles.

On a largely unrelated note, is there a list or guide somewhere that says how much of the backstory in the game comes from pre-existing lore, and how much was made up by Bioware (in this or the KoTOR games)?

I'd like to change (well, narrow down) my answer to "anything on Hoth, especially if it involves gathering." because looking for the HK part was worse on Hoth than on all the others combined. And now, frankly, looking for the dread seed is worse on Hoth than anywhere else. And pretty much every quest there is worse than any quest anywhere else.

Unless you get really lucky and someone in chat says they have almost found it and will wait for you to get it as well. This happened to me on DK, and I did it for someone else on Coruscant, but Hoth took forever. Would never want to do that again.

I've done Kuat enough times to say that it isn't really whether a player is a tank or a DPS so much as whether they know what they are doing or not, that determines speed.

One more reason that IAs should be able to actually wield blaster pistols (snipers in offhand, Ops in main hand) IMO.
