  1. Returning player from a fair few months ago. Thank you for sharing information but... I only really enjoy pvp. I don't want to spend my free time grinding content I don't enjoy because it is the fastest way to gear. Also not being able to choose the gear I want, that drives me crazy. Opening cartel market packs is exciting. Opening Command packs in the hope I get what I want, is annoying
  2. Personally i think any jedi or sith class should be able to choose lightsaber of their choice. But i am thinking kotor days. I would have preferred when swtor first came out you could have different spec trees with different saber specialties. With some restrictions of course. Like sorc shouldn't be able to dual wield but double blade means one hand for lightning, that makes sense to me. Dps guardian/jugg using double bladed saber isn't totally out of the question. An assassin being stealthy and bursty should be able to dual wield. Doing this would have been very difficult so i don't blame them for having a more split system.
  3. Yes the success of the 12x Exp boost was good. I love being able to lvl with the story. Planet lvl sync - I like the idea of less chance of being ganked by higher lvl in open world pvp but as everyone has probably noticed by now, there is no open world pvp about. So this downgrade of lvl to players means it will encourage it I hope or players won't bother because they can't max pvp stats. Other changes helping group lvling sound good, I am all for that. Also great idea making retro ops difficult again, i like that idea so it feels like we have more content. Temporary action bars - great idea. Can someone address the accuracy in this game? I mean that by just remove it, it is annoying and a pain to get. Auto ability replacements - i like this, i hate shared cooldowns, its annoying. Companion gear - Good for role play but bad for open world pvp. Stat change - Seriously a master stat? Does this mean all gear will be adaptive, does this mean everyone can just need or roll for everything. So pug flashpoints are a no go for gearing because everyone will need on gear for either crafting or one mod inside of it. So please make flashpoint gear rolls based on secondary stats, the amount of dps who roll on gear with defence is annoying. New crafting system will help with gearing and no one needing for companions will help but players still do it. My suggestion is only other players can need on it if the tank passes or greeds it. Same with dps gear etc.
  4. So as a guardian and mara being my mains i learned synthweaving and artifice... Artifice - crystals have been useless a while now because they were put into the cartel market which makes crystal creating pointless which leaves us with dyes and again can be bought of the cartel market so that leaves us with enhancements but noo they have been taken. So basically artifice is now pointless. Synthweaving - splitting up the augs evenly isn't easy, that is understandable but i can't help but feel giving mastery augments to one crafter isn't really fair. It is the primary stat augment and should be able to be made by all. To sum up this problem i would suggest making artifice able to craft augments. This means amormech, armstech, synthweaving and artifice get 2 secondary augments each and the third augment would be the mastery stat. It also makes sense that artifice loosing a major crafting section gains something that will encourage people to actually learn it. Armstech get to craft them why shouldn't artifice. I have every crafting ability learned anyway, some of them not to full but not far off, I see some imbalance here in terms of crafting. What do other people think?
  5. I am more here to ask if other players are experiencing the hutball troll roll. I kinda feel like hutball is just too easy. I have been rolling past people which is just hilarious and then see a couple of ops just rolling past everyone, it is generally making hutball matches pointless. PVP is in a bad state as it is. Balance is sort of returning but still got a lot to go. In the mean time i don't see much point in huttball if players just roll past people. I have been in a hutball match with 4 ops on my team and it lasted about 3 mins. Great for getting the daily done but not great for gameplay :/ Just wondering what other people were thinking.
  6. I don't mind it in regs because well you need to start somewhere and not everyone can be bothered to get old gear for better bolster but when it comes to ranked there should be no less then 2018 expertise.
  7. Try pulling of a ravage/ms when it is 3 secs, it is never going to happen. Unless it has the alacrity boost it is pointless even trying it.
  8. Yeah I have said this on many forums. No sacrifice for dps and we can move for more then a second without being rooted or slowed. You jump sorc, sorc speeds away immune to everything and stuns or roots or slow you and thats it, you won't catch him again unless you use every cooldown at your disposal.
  9. Merc has no problem with melee, elecronet then dead.
  10. Yes when they are not being focused because there is a healer on the team. Or have a tank guarding them or if they have a sniper, merc and mara on a team, one of them will be chosen based normally on gear. BUT most of the time fotm wipes out anyone queueing different classes at the moment always leaving 1 alternative class which is not sin, sorc or PT.
  11. I don't blame anyone for going Fotm, games are meant to be about having fun, i don't think being steam rolled is fun so for a better game experience players should re-roll. Sometimes i think they are making players bounce around to different classes to make it feel like more content.. I don't see why a counter class type system is so bad. I kinda feel that dot spread is causing most of these issues because it is viable to have multiple dot spread classes stacked on one team. I chose a PT over a merc =] shame it got nerfed :/
  12. I love the old republic story. I miss 8v8 ranked for one. I like PT being great, i think that cannon was a bit OP but i am hoping after that it will still be decent enough to play. Not a huge fan of makeb huttball, i liked the idea of multiple lvls but it is so easy to score, get a vigi/veng guard/jugg then friend leap then normal leap and goal, soooo easy it is disappointing =[ I play all the classes too so i can understand how to fight them and season 4 does not look promising, need some rock paper scissors style deal. Not scissors cuts paper then resists rock, then dots the crap out of rock which spreads to paper then lol stealths away and watches :/
  13. Yeah i wast just thinking something similar. I play pure pvp and i am getting really bored really fast =[ I love being in the old republic, I don't want to have to leave
  14. As a mara/sent, merc/mando or sniper/slinger that isn't really an option in arena is it? I only choose to play arena on my guardian because it is viable, i enjoy playing regs on my other chars but when i see that window i just think yay.. i am going to get roughly 40 secs of pvp for how ever long i waited in queue. Not all of us want to fotm.
  15. I'll make you a deal. I won't use off tanking when on my guardian or use guardian leap or my taunts to help players. In exchange I want sorcs who are actuallyskank healing to stop casting 10k heals when queue'd as dps in ranked yolo. Also you see dps sorcs hitting 800K damage which is decent when it is a short wz and also having 400k healing done. Off healing and off tanking in regs is fair game.
