The one time I have blind invited someone, I was about to start a group phase and they were in the area and looked to be on the same quest. I figured, why not make it easy for both of us? I get blind invited all the time, it's never a big deal for me.

The idea I have of my IA is someone who embraces being gray, and always takes the pragmatic choice - but 90% of the time, "pragmatic" and "LS" are the same choice. So he's a little bit lighter than I would prefer. Also, I find myself taking the LS (for pubs, or my BH or IA) or DS (for sith) choice regardless, because for some reason I can't bring myself to pick otherwise. So it's my own fault as much as the game's when my idea of the character doesn't match their alignment. Oh well.

Does that mean that right-clicking from cover will still use slot #1 from your REGULAR QUICKBAR?

I guess that depends what you mean by "roleplay". I interpreted the OP (and I may be wrong) as just putting a lot of background characterization into his character, which you don't need long sessions for.

What happens if some of your characters are species that are locked to F2P/pref?

I don't have alts. I have 8 mains. (None past Chapter 1 / Level 23 . . . working on it.) Embrace it.

Someone should try to prove it. Roll a new alt, and without interacting with any of your other characters, see how long it takes to make a mil.

I want to see that one species that showed up in the citadel on Telos in KotOR2 that was 2 aliens stuck together.

Here I thought when I saw the thread title that my 8 would seem like anything. it's not really altoholism, though, just a conscious decision to have one character for each class. And I have played all of them in the last week or so. (I have only been playing for a while, so the highest I have is level 23.)

At the risk of repeating a line and calling down the ire of the other posters: Inquisitor on Dromund Kaas, talking to a soldier monitoring the slave revolt. He mentions that they are concerned about the fact that some slaves are murdering others. So the Inq responds - "Yaw-awn." It's really the intonation that sells it.

Is this all for real? Man, this game is better than I thought.

I didn't really like any of the options for the Miraluka veils, either (for my female JK). It would be cool to see some more.

Funny thing that happened to my IA on Balmorra: So, he is infiltrating some group or other. Naturally, to disguise his true nature, he has to switch from a British accent to an American one. Because of course, if they heard him with a British accent, they would see right through his disguise. The fact that he spends the entire planet wearing a jacket with an Imperial logo on the sleeve doesn't tip them off, of course.

I do have a question: how much alt-interaction is allowed? Can I buy or craft stuff on one character and send it to another?

As the name says, this is my first MMO (unless you count Kingdom of Loathing, which some people do but I don't). I had been thinking about getting this game when it first came out; then about a year ago I almost got it; then a couple of weeks ago I finally decided to do it (after having a dream that I was playing it, of all things). I started out "preferred" but decided I like it enough to subscribe. So the F2P model got me, I guess. This seems like a good community, from what I have seen, and I hope to figure out how to play multiplayer content. Wish me luck!
