Most classes except Inquis/Consular have 5% base defense chance, and your force accuracy is 10% higher than your melee accuracy so when you get 95% melee accuracy you're basically at 105% force accuracy, this your force attacks won't miss a target unless he's a consular/inquis. and I've personally never seen it happen. I feel like 95% accuracy is enough, because that represents 90% hit chance on all non-inquisitor targets and tanks. And at those saying that Stagger is actually worth it, if you want to put 2 points in it, you'd need to give up on something higher in the tree and something more useful, unless you don't put any points into Cloak of Carnage and then that's just stupid because you need to use assault more which means you lose DPS in the long run. 0.5 seconds of additional root time is absolutely worthless and definitely not worth taking.

The first sentence is absolute crap, if you have mercs/sorcs/snipers in your team and they CAN'T out damage a Combat/Carnage Sentinel/Marauder there's a very very very big problem with them, I could understand if you'd said Smash because it can still top charts (though Hybrid sorcs do much more AoE dmg and they should be outdpsi'ng the Smashers), but a Carnage Marauder should not Outdps an arsenal Merc and even less a Madness/Hybrid sorc. As for the second part, perhaps you should try PvP'ing with your Sentinel or Marauder at 55 to see what it feels like. Without a healer on your Back, "OP" is the last thing you feel. Full auto ticks crit for 4-5k+ when properly geared and can be used much more often than MS though. It's true that snipers have to hard-cast many abilities but you forget that they can't be interrupted with traditional interrupts and a stun/Knockback/CC is needed, and if they've popped Entrench well u can't stop the cast no matter what you do.

  9. I agree a fix is needed for Undying Rage, but what you proposed is quite OP. I'd understand with just 3 seconds of immunity and allowing us to activate it while stunned with no health penalty, but that 8-12k dmg absorption at the end ON TOP of being able to activate it while stunned is too much

No melee accuracy in gear you will get 95% from just your skill tree (with the companion buff you will get 96% but that's fine, as long as you don't have any in your gear), 0 crit rating, all power/surge. All mods should be Deft Mod 29X for Obroan and all enhancement should be Adept Enhancements 29X. If you want more details just ask for them I'll gladly develop on it.

  13. OMG This killed me so bad xD On a serious note though...don't expect people to know what focus target is, or to use it...I haven't been in a single pug WZ where even after saying "Focus target off Bob" (Bob being very an anonymous leet DPS'er) anybody except me focused off Bob...
  14. Yeah I was playing on my sentinel against Frequencyz, Xa'vuy and etc, and Freq was spamming predation when they had the ball LOL I had teammates cry "Speed Hacking!!!!" Bioware pliz nerf predation.

And with the white dmg buff it hits like a truck now LOL 10.7k+ final ravage ticks are casual stuff now xD I find it hilarious how Vengeance used to be considered "terrible" (though it never was) by the majority of Jugg players in the past and now nearly every single one of those same players are playing Vengeance. Thank god the burst is terrible except when 2-3 things crit in a row and the damage isn't very hard to heal through or else there'd be much more grieving than just about ED Honestly, I'd rather have them remove the CD reduction in Rage and reduce the % of HP lost instead to the 25% it was before. I'd rather wait 30 seconds more knowing I can survive a hard switch and only lose 25% of my remaining HP than be able to use the CD much more often but be practically dead after.

  18. Yes, and Leap->Gore->Ravage lands what percentage of the time exactly? Thought so -_- Dotting up a target and pillar hugging it to LOS, be it a ranged or melee target, is much easier and more efficient than "leap gore berserk ravage" since the target can't prevent it unless they waste their Purge...if they have one at all. Sure, lock out Force Lightning...and then waste a CC/Mezz/knockback (That's probably on a MUCH longer CD) to stop Hard Casted Crushing darkness? LOL GG I agree with locking them out of Force Lightning tho, that IS the best thing you can do, since it's one of their biggest sources of damage, but if you waste a stun/CC to stop CrD after that, that's not a smart move.

Relax...I know how to play my classes and have very few problems in 1v1 against dot classes considering I run the game at 1.7fps during fights and when I pop predation I see myself teleporting around the screen (Beast pc ftw!!!). Name me a ranged dot on a Mara/Jugg pliz...(except Deadly Saber->Dual Saber Throw, but that isn't even considered as a dot or the amazing thing called "Draining Scream" Vengeance jugs get that ticks for 100 dmg LOL) . I don't mind dots but I mind the dmg they do for the very little setup they require...added to the fact that the strongest DoT specs also have the biggest range on them. In reality, I think that much of that stems from the fact that I mostly queue solo without a healer on my team and once I'm dotted that HP is gonna be lost and I can't do much about it. With a good healer, DoT classes are nowhere near as much of a problem
  20. So 1 baseline ability on a 15seconds CD is a significant gap closer? The only specs that you could potentially say have "significant gap closers" are Carnage because of predation and possibly the root break on Camo and Smash because of the two leaps. I'd also like to know what these extreme forms of CC are...the melee spec with the most CC is a jug tank with 2 hard stuns, 1 push and an AoE CC while being the spec with the lowest DPS. Or a retarded 0/21/25 2.8 sin hybrid that lets you get low slash and the instant whirlwind, but the dmg output is awful so it isn't even worth running. You have a point there. Well first of all the number of sorcs I see suggests that there's been a BIG improvement to the dmg output. Ironically, in terms of proportions I see more DPS sorcs specced madness than DPS sins specced madness, even though the latter got buffed a lot more and can dish out a lot more damage now. I think the 25% dmg boost to force lightning is underrated...ticks that crit go for 2.1k+ dmg, and I've already been hit with 2.5k ticks LOL dunno if it was a relic proc or something but for a spammable ability that also applies a slow I find that to be very good damage.
  21. Yeah a good strat but one that doesn't require any skill at all, and that your opponent can't really counter if they have no purge ability. When madness sorcs do that it's an easy 25-30% of your HP off especially if they have death field on you, which they should. At least, I guess you could argue that their squishiness makes up for it, but I wonder if that would be very relevant in the case where they decide to LoS and pillar hug

The third tick of ravage hits as hard when it doesn't crit as either of the first two ticks do when they crit; when my last tick crits on my vengeance jug it nearly always does 10k+ whereas the first two ones never go beyond 5k and even then, when my last tick doesn't crit it usually does 5-6k. In addition, none of your MS ticks HAVE to crit, so saying that there's always two that crit is absolutely false. If you're running no crit in your gear it isn't rare at all to not get a single ravage tick to crit. As a mara you can pretty much evade two ravages except their first ticks (you have to know the jug does it to counter it), the first one you pacify, the second one you camo out. And unless they have unstoppable on all of them (somehow) you can stop the 3rd and 4th ravages with Choke/Intimidating Roar.
  23. You said it yourself in the first sentence...the word melee is what makes to whole difference. You say no loss of mobility but we're usually the ones eating all the stun/roots/slows/mezz's on top of always having to watch out for when a ranged knocks us back. What you forget, is that on top of applying 2 dots (3 when you get the CD proc) you also spam force lightning and lightning strike that's a crapload of dmg accumulation, and the thing is, since most of it is internal, you can attack practically anybody and still melt them. I found Madness's DPS fine pre-2.8 personally, and it still WAS the most viable and played pure DPS spec for sorcs in ranked and regs. I don't think anybody mind DoT specs being viable, and I'd say most are perfectly fine except maybe Madness, I mean the other day I got a Pyro dot crit tick on me for over 1.5k dmg, so I'm starting to wonder whether that 35% DoT increase was really a good idea PvP wise.

To be fair, it DOES perform poorly compared to Carnage, but the thing is that Carnage requires more setup and support, and with 12-13/16 players in a WZ being ranged Carnage's burst is even easier to fk up than before I find. But with heals and support I don't se any reason to go Focus...or maybe I'm just biased because Carnage is my main spec xD
