  1. Y u no SS would def want to see the opposite team lol, healers stacked on eachother? xD
  2. Lol that made me chuckle a lot, +1. Can't blame it all on him tho you had 7 other people, I just bet the other team was l33t but was letting u farm them all along and totally nailed that cap as they predicted
  3. He's kinda right tho, we're all bad I've barely seen many Sentinels pull good DPS let alone care about objectives, nobody can even compare to Gardenoflight skill levels, except perhaps Eavn, because he's Best player NA.
  4. Pretty sure I did a Novare that was longer than 30mins. I remember it taking us something like 15-20 only to cap mid because the other team had 6 healers. Lol'd that bcuz he didn't demonstrate enough skills mad enough
  5. Please, I main Carnage so don't tell me to learn to play it xD. It wasn't impossible before, but it was much easier to lose the stacks. However, nowadays it's nowhere near hard to do especially in active fights, granted, if you die or don't have a healer behind you, you WILL lose your stacks but if you queue with a group it isn't hard, unless you wipe the enemy team. I'm more annoyed by the fact that GETTING 4 stacks when you kill enemies too fast with a group is harder than maintaining them after that. I didn't say Pacify and Crippling Throw were for damage, but they're still essential to using the class to its fullest and pacify totally kills white damage classes and you never mentioned any of them in your posts. Pop Pacify on a Watchman sentinel and see what happens lol, he won't land a hit for the whole 6 seconds, unless he decides to use blade storm/stasis/sweep. Smash and watchman are both miles easier than Combat, don't start putting words into my mouth bro xD But you're right I never guard, I just move between nodes when people call incs and that's if nobody's gone before me. There are specs and classes much better suited at Node Guarding than Sentinels aka Sins/Ops/Guardians/Juggs, the best job a sentinel does is DPS and provide team utility and I stick to that.
  6. Pliz everybody knows ur best player world on any spec and all classes I never asked this bro, but are u into masochism? What's the name of your Mara? I wonder if I've ever seen u around. Would definitely want to do some dual glowstick dueling.
  7. Pre-nerf Smash? Tru dat, unless you get 2 healers on your premade, then you won't die, so it's better DPS than if you'd be dying, but still doesn't beat having multiple healers on the other team.
  8. Unfortunately, even me being terrible is better than 95% of the rest that play that spec except for Churb, bcuz he's best player world...you are correct though, I would be terrible
  9. Don't encourage me to make one...I've considered the idea...and I don't feel like hearing *********** noises every 12 seconds...but it's a melee class so I'm tempted to make it, the only thing that's been preventing me in addition to what I said above is that vig is boring as fk
  10. Well, you did around 1.1k DPS that game, which is better than what most Vigi guards can do
  11. Watchman is probably the only sentinel spec that actually has to "follow" a rotation during its opener even in PvP, If somebody doesn't Leap->OS->Zealous Strike->Cauterize as their opener, in most cases they're doing something wrong and wasting potential DPS. And straying from that sequence of attacks too much IS a DPS loss even in PvP where things aren't made to be predictable. This is what I meant by follows a rotation the most. The spec is quite linear in the sequence of attacks you use, whereas Smash is basically free-for-all use whatever the heck you want if you need to just make sure you pump out those full powered smashes every ~10 seconds or slightly less if all you do is use CD reducing abilities, and Combat is proc fishing (for now) and hoping that RNG is nice to you so you don't have to Blade Rush 8 times for a proc.
  12. In a fight where both teams have healers and neither is getting wiped if you can't maintain 4 stacks you're terrible...so please stop making it sound like it's hard. The only times you shouldn't be at 4 stacks is when you die, when you reinforce a node or when you start a fight. You can only use dispatch when ur target is in execute range. In an Average WZ you should be using Merc Slash A LOT more than Dispatch...just saying, if not, you might want to make sure you're doing it properly. Only time when its reasonable to lose the stacks is when going to next door, and even then if you have people in between you can maintain them. They only take ~30 seconds to build anyways, it's far from the end of the world. In huttball, there's always gonna be people attacking your ballhandler or defending theirs...so again....it's not remotely hard. Lol, then apparently you haven't seen a decent Smasher in a long time...I've yet to be outdmg'ed by a Combat/Watchman sent in my own team and don't even get me started on duels...the longer duration on Rebuke that focus has is enough to pop Awe/Pacify and wait out the combat/watchman sentinel's Rebuke out while yours still has 4seconds (more if you're fighting vs watchman since the dots refresh Rebuke), once Rebuke is gone, even the 30% AoE DR won't save them. The simple fact that a major part of focus's dmg output is force dmg makes it superior when it comes to attacking other sentinels when they have Saber Ward up...so until you've actually seen a good Focus sentinel don't talk. Also, Master Strike is far from useless...if cauterize is ticking and Overload Saber and Merc Slash are on CD and you CAN LAND the full Master strike it's much better dmg than anything else you can do. So now I must ask...do you even play a sentinel? Now, I'm not triying to pick a fight with you bro, but you're making it sound like Watchman is insanely hard to play and only amazing players can do well with it...which is far from true. Edit: Nvm, I actually don't believe you, the simple fact that you said as well as completely ignore Crippling Throw and Pacify proves you have no clue what you're talking about (clipping the dot on Cauterize is bad...very bad and unneeded). SO both you and the poster who said that should go Lrn2Watchman some more...a LOT more.
  13. TBH with the stupid amount of hard stuns and CCs flying around you'll end up with full resolve most likely at the same rate. Not to mention how if they try to CC you through both gore windows on Live, you'd technically build resolve even faster...
  14. Because Zen in focus is a full focus bar and a 100% dmg boost to ur next Smash...and because it gives 30% alacrity in Combat which reduces your GCD to 1.05s which roughly means that you do 4 attacks for every 3 your opponent does. This is much better than the ****** heals from Watchman (if they were 2% it might be different) the dot crits are nice though. Overload saber accounts for less than 22% of Watchman's dmg output, pliz learn *** ur talking about. Lol, Watchman is retardedly easy to play as well, it's the spec that relies the most on a rotation, with Smash you can do whatever you want outside of guaranteeing your full powered Smashes, be it using Crippling throw to apply a debuff or Cauterize to prevent a stealther from stealthing (too bad most people just mindlessly spam Slash), but Watchman is just stupidly static and follows the same pattern too much. If you stray too much from the optimal opener you find yourself focus starved and doing **** DPS. Were it not for its low mobility Watchman would have been in the same boat as Smash was in the past because pulling crazy DPS is terribly easy on Watchman nowadays, but at least it's easy to kite so that kinda balances things out.
  15. I think very few people actually realize what this implies...Sure, you'll have more reliable burst, but the fact that you can only get 1 chance to do it is kinda sad. Not to mention how you might have to delay using some stuff for a few seconds if you want to fit it in a Gore window.
  16. Ikr, I stopped reading after that...
  17. I wouldn't exactly say "Shut Down" though it definitely greatly reduces the spec's DPS. Not to mention how cleanses don't cleanse everything, so if they have another debuff such as a slow and affliction THEN CT and CrD that would prevent the two most important dots from being cleansed by anybody. I don't know if you've seen sorcs "protect" their dots back when they were cleansable but they always made sure to keep their most powerful dots last on the list, obviously Force Slow helped with that. If people ACTUALLY used cleanses, which barely anybody does, and even when dots WERE cleansable people still didn't use cleanses, then it would kill off a portion of Madness' DPS, but if dots suddenly become cleansable I really doubt you'll see many people at all cleansing them.
  18. BW probably deleted it bcuz they saw frequencyz post and wanted to avoid having to ban him again
  19. Strike and Slash? More than enough to pull mad DPS. Edit: Where the heck did the Accomplishments thread go?
  20. Well of course, that's a given. Of course I don't, where did you see even a sliver of that being implied? Honestly I'd still go with CL, LS forked lightning consuming a charge sucks a lot, I'd rather not risk it. CL's base dmg is already over 30%, in fact a CL crit on your main target without forked lightning is better than LS where both the main hit AND the forked lightning hit crit. I'd definitely go with CL. Tbh, AoE pressure starts are kinda meh now that Lolsmash and the Ion cell hybrid were both nerfed :S Well, I wouldn't say that it hits "like a truck" because in my book that's 5digit dmg but it does hit pretty hard when it crits for a filler. And yeah...if it was possible to maintain the dps from procced FL,LS and CL all the time, this thread probably wouldn't have been made, or it would have been named "Ideas to balance the overpowered Hybrid Sorcs" Lol no...it would be like giving a class a way to cleanse dots that can be reapplied a few GCDs later. For it to be a 10-15k instant heal, the DoTs would have to do 10-15k dmg over a short period of time, which isn't the case at all.
  21. Not anymore. If madness had burst on top of its ridiculous sustained and mobility then it would be totally OP. It's a limitation that's required from making the spec absolutely god-mode so no It doesn't suit ME, it suits game balance and always will. Doesn't change anything, there's people who used to play trees before I even knew this game existed and they're still bad at them today... O wait, but CL hits harder on crits than LS, not to mention the fact that DF being AoE too allows you to pump more overall damage to the entire enemy team if you use both in succession. What you listed is for single target burst, but once the barrage proc is on ICD that option is gone, same applies for CL though. Do we even play the same game ffs -_- I did misunderstand what you were referring to there, but that still doesn't change the fact that if they actually had a proper pressure comp with more pressure suitable specs they probably would have won. But using some fights that happened a while ago doesn't prove absolutely anything lol, you can't say one spec is balanced coz one great player playing it got beat by two other great players. As I said, if they had a more pressure heavy comp composed of specs that dish out stronger sustained, rather than a Burst spec and a full sustained spec, they would have had a better chance. Well the birth of that spec came with Bioware's extreme leniency when it comes to tying a spec's defining talents with cells/forms, especially in cases like PFT where the talent isn't so high up and can be picked up while playing in another cell to make some funky hybrids. Keep in mind that in 3.0 they're probably gonna increase most classes' DPS, not just Vengeance. And were it not for the CC immunity and ED, most people wouldn't even be playing Vengeance, since both Carnage and Annihilation offer better dmg output when talking about warrior DPS specs, not to mention how Annihilation is not much harder to play than Vengeance. If I were you I'd be afraid of other specs that pull crazy DPS already. Still, I'm rather excited to see what kind of heresy BW will introduce to our skill trees with 3.0:D:D As long as it doesn't make TTK even shorter I don't mind.
  22. ^This. Everything must be binded. Even those ****** *** pets you never think of taking out.
  23. Uhm...you do realize that they add new talents every level cap increase to prevent you from getting a key skill from another tree if you're already full specced right? Juggs are not getting Invincible anymore than they did when the lvl cap went from 50 to 55. So u can sleep in peace
