  1. My friend and I played through KDY (Republic version) once without issue. We tried to play through it again, however, we are stuck at the shuttle. When click the shuttle, it shows the cutscene of the shuttle traveling to Kuat, and when the cutscene finishes we are back in the Republic ship hangar in front of the shuttle. We have tried relogging, resetting the instance, deleting the quest from our journals and starting over - nothing works. We are not attempting to skip the cutscene in any way, but the glitch happens anyway.
  2. Has anyone found a fix for this? I'm stuck here myself and I can't progress at all. EDIT: I figured out a fix. Since it's been months and still hasn't been fixed, I'm going to assume it will continue to remain unfixed and will post the fix below: 1) Travel to your stronghold (assuming you have one). You have to do this to get out of the room, since you can't access your abilities and there's no exit. 2) Do NOT click the "launch" button next to the story. It will put you right back in the room. Travel to your ship. Land on Iokath. 3) Travel all the way back to the factory. As soon as you get inside, right click on your portrait and reset the phase. 4) Click the power core terminal, and this time the power cores should be spawning properly.
  3. I heard that the issue with the transfers is because of the legacy system, especially with merging them if the character is being transfered to a server where they already have a legacy. Bioware doesn't want to accidentally mess it up, because you know if they do, there will be people on here screaming bloody murder that Bioware should have waited. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
  4. People are getting bored and quitting for lack of stuff to do. On dead servers like mine, you have to wait around a half hour to get into a warzone during peak time, and that's queuing solo, most people don't have that kind of patience. It's impossible to do the operations, because on a dead server, there's usually one or two guilds that actually do them, and they aren't willing to take fresh 50s into them due to lack of gear, so we're basically screwed in a catch-22 scenario. So the only thing left to do is level alts. I enjoy doing it, but most people don't.
  5. Oh, but he does, because he needs the attention. That combined with his cyan colored posts seems to be doing the job quite well.
  6. You should call your mom and dad and tell them that you scolded a forum poster for posting an old link. They might give you a sticker of a little yellow star with a smiley face on it as a reward. Anyway, thanks for the link OP, haven't seen it yet. Trust me though, the wannabe forum moderators are FAR more annoying than any old links.
  7. Not much of one. For the most part it seems like each faction has their own areas to quest in. Occasionally there will be an area where both factions have quests which can lead to some unavoidable PvP on populated servers... The Czerka base in the dune sea of Tatooine comes to mind.
  8. Manaan. You guys should take the top 10 planets suggested in this thread, and do an in-game poll that appears in the main menu for all of the players to vote on. Not many people come on the forums.
  9. Thanks for the podcast, it was enjoyable. This is the kind of communication that I'd like to see more of. Keep them coming. Also, please ignore all the raging morons who are spamming the video with thumbs downs, they are a very vocal minority that doesn't speak for everyone. And yeah, this is coming from someone on a dead server. I know you guys are working on it, I'm enjoying leveling alts while I wait.
  10. Hmmm, good point. What about if we kept the current system, but only one player can be the "defender" at a time (per capture point)? Maybe a shield logo or something could appear above his head to indicate who is "defending". Only that player gets defend points. The first person to enter the capture point zone is the defender, and if the player leaves when there's another player there, it will switch to the other player. This will prevent players from standing around it in groups to farm defend points, but still reward the player defending the point. Another idea (I thought of this after I finished typing all that): The +500 defend points are divided amongst all of the players defending the point. If there is one player, they get all 500 of the points. If there's 2 players, each gets 250, and so on. Just tossing around some ideas here.
  11. Bioware should handle this like how DICE handles it in the Battlefield games (since Alderaan Civil War and the Novare coast are pretty much the same as Titan mode from 2142). You get defend points for killing an enemy player in the capture zones, not just standing there. Pretty simple.
  12. I used to have this attitude! Then my server died.
  13. I really hate F2P games. I tried coming back to CoH recently, and found that half of my characters were locked because I had to "buy" the class that I had played, despite the fact that I had paid for the actual game years before. I quit and never turned the game on again. What a mess. I don't think EA would let SWTOR suffer the same fate.
  14. Yeah, we're pretty invested in our legacy, and we don't want to wipe out all of the progress we've made since launch. We shouldn't have to. I just really don't want to start all over again and level another character now, or at least for a while. I've almost got my second 50 on my server, I don't want it to be a waste.
