Thank you for the check in Keith. First an apology. From what I was reading on the forums about the PTS I was very worried that this expansion was not for me or my playstyle and I said as much. I was quite wrong, and for that I am sorry. I have started a brand new Nautolan Marauder and began with my class story on Korriban. I play solo mainly and with heroics and my xp armour set I was level 75 by the time I left Balmorra. I enjoyed the harder fights, though some did feel a bit tedious with the mobs soaking up damage. My renown level is very very slowly creeping up and for the most part the crates rewards are pretty meh. I was stuck at i276 rating for awhile before upgrades from story missions and conquest started to kick in higher gear, and now the progression to better gear seems to be coming a lot faster. I have just started SoR and I have to say I am pretty happy with this expansion, barring crafting (which is a WHOLE other kettle of fish). I have not tried the new content, but I look forward to it. I am savouring the journey. TLDR: I am quite happy with this expansion, good job and I look forward to what is coming up in our games future.

Pretty much this. This forum has a large percentage of group players that use the term "solo" like some people pronounce the word "negro". I like doing master story chapter mode, so I need good gear to do it, the best if preferable. So there you go, as a solo player I need BiS gear. Solo players need a reason to repeat content the same as group players do. Yeah yeah, raiders raid for the challenge, with friends, the rush blah blah blah, but we all know it's for the shinies. Everybody needs a carrot at the end of the stick or they will just not bother. I don't think group players ever have to worry about being without content ever again with the current management.

It's up to you as an individual to decide wether or not your particular playstyle has had content adequately provided, ignored, or lavishly catered to over more than two years with him at the helm. A little cynical part of me says "If you can't give your mates tons of content you and they like and maximise their ingame monetary earning potential then what's the point of taking on the job?" I'd like to believe he's sticking to his original promise. It is interesting reading the PTS feedback though and i'm watching to see if they have a success with the upcoming expansion or another mass exodus. I'm a solo player mainly and am moderately happy with the game as is.

Extremely doubtful it will happen. Bioware did not keep their promise and I don't think they've really given any real thought to it since. There's a few reasons it won't happen. 1. There's probably not many of us left so they don't give a flying fornicate to update it. 2. Most people don't have it, so since they don't have it it's not an issue for them. 3. Since they don't have it and it was so long ago we don't deserve anything and Bioware is not beholden to their "regularly updated vendor" promise. 4. Bioware can't make money off of it and it would only make a few people happy, so again, what's the incentive for them to do it? Keep their advertised promise? Bwahahahahahahaha!!!!! I honestly doubt it will ever happen sadly. *Do check out the HK and Bonus chapter threads though. The demands for Bioware to keep their exclusivity on the deal, which wasn't even mentioned, plus the demands for compensation if they do offer it to those that had it are quite a read. That's what happens when a larger body of people are affected.

I say don't give up hope! Last year I spent a sizable slab of cash to try to win the Gamorrean and didn't get him. I won one vectron and that was it, oh, and a lot of gold certs. This year I decided to make a Smuggler as I only have one other in my stable of 53 toons. Since the event started I have been playing on my trooper for 1-3 hour blocks twice a day, grinding at the promenade casino. I won about 70 odd Golden certificates, 30 Cartel Certs, and one Vectron. I bought a piggy with the proceeds and mailed it and the Vectron to my new Smuggler. After getting her up enough in the story to get my ship and head to Nar Shadaa I got the intro quests and decided to try her out. I won 2 golden certs. The casino was crowded so I decided to go to the promenade floaty casino bit where my trooper had been grinding. I bought 20 kingpin chips and 1000 smuggler chips. I hadn't had much luck here on my trooper, but felt optimistic on my smuggler. Within 10 minutes I had won a Vectron, then the Merc contract, 5 more gold certs and another Merc contract. In shock I called it there. I DO NOT recommend buying the kingpin chips, as my trooper had done that twice and got diddly, relying mainly on the 2000 smuggler chips i bought to play. But after pretty much a bust last year I was very happy with that lucky 10 minute break. I still have yet to break a machine. I don't think I will ever see a luck streak like that for that event again, but don't give up, it can happy to unlucky buggers like me. Best of luck to you!

From my experience with the armours I have like that they do it in game, and even more infuriatingly, do it in cut scenes. If I exit the cut scene and restart it it will sometimes come good, but that's not always a certainty. It can be quite vexing.

I say offer it as part of a 6 month or longer subscription in the form of a new offer. You can choose to renew your sub with that chapter and rewards attached. If they really feel the need to give anything to those that already had it, give them some a Hypercrate or CC equivalent. I'm also very much in favour of having subscriber rewards à la SWG as has been mentioned. That would be very cool.

If you really want the raid rewards then just do what i'm guessing a lot of people did for them; buy credits off ebay or some third party seller, contact the guilds that sell those runs and get your rewards. One swipe of your credit card, turn up to the raid and twiddle your thumbs and hurray, you have unlocked Wings of the Architect and whatever title you also ordered. Those rewards aren't hard to get if you know where to look and have cash.

I'd be happy for the chapter to become available again, for a reasonable price. As a CE owner i'd be happy for the CE exclusives to be available for a price. As someone that got the DvL levelling set i'd be happy for that, too, to be available for a price. This game is not going to be around forever. I've had fun with my exclusive toys and i'm happy to share them. I don't understand the "they're MY toys and YOU DON'T GET TO PLAY WITH THEM!" attitude. They brought back the korrealis mounts, the white crystals, the Grand Acquisition rewards, why not allow other things to become attainable?

They've patched the item now, but those that bought it due to BW's error have been told that nothing will be done. /shrug Exploit early, exploit hard, exploit smart.

A guildie fell for this to the tune of 44mil and sent in a ticket and just got a reply from CS. Basically they said it’s your fault for not looking at the bugged companion item of the exact same name that has the orange Cartel Market colour, label of a Cartel Market Item and platinum CM symbol as the real CM item and they are not going to do anything about it. They “cannot track purchases”. So there you go. He cancelled his sub in disgust.

And here I was thinking when he "ate" a force user he actually got out his knife and fork. I stand corrected.

And yet here you are, year after year, still trying to drive story people out of a story driven MMO. Imagine how happy you would have been if you'd buggered off to an MMO that focuses purely on pvp and raiding. Shouldn't matter which one, you don't give a flying fornicate about story, so take your pick. This game will always be a story driven MMO, no matter how much you long for all the story and solo people to leave. Do yourself a favour, take the advice you've given many many other people before, and go play something else.

Why on Earth would they ban your friend? The mantra for this game regarding exploits is: "Exploit Early, Exploit Hard, Be Smart About Hiding Your Gains, Keep Everything!" I haven't participated in any of the exploits this game has had, nor profited off the GTN by listing items at massively inflated cost when I've heard about any of the credit exploits to maximise profit, but this is not a game I regard as one that punishes exploiters. A quick search on ebay has credits for sale, items for sale, they even had runs to get the Izax rewards before the time period to get them ended. I don't think there is much fear of actions on accounts that violate the TOS. Other games sure, but not this one. I learned to stop worrying about people that did those things a while ago. /shrug Just my 2¢

The FP and one or two companions returning is the only thing from that road map that has any interest for me. Going to be quite a few months of the same old same old it has been for ages now. One thing i'd love to see is being able to disintegrate the 9 pages of bronze and silver crap in my Item Stash on the Pack Explorer that I can't even give away it's so ugly. Being able to disintegrate that clutter for unassembled components would be wonderful.

I'm honestly surprised some enterprising person didn't stick some on ebay. With how scarce they are i'm sure someone would buy it.

I wonder if it was intentional for people to get 1 to 3 extra codes or it was a glitch in the system? It would be a bit of a bummer if you had actually won a code, but because of a problem in the delivery system, your winning code had gone to someone who had already received their winning code. Not only had they received their winning code, but unintentionally other people's as well. Bit of a tinfoil hat theory but having seen how poorly this was run I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility.

That's also *IF* you don't have a bugged account that never receives any rewards or promotions even if you have opted to do so.
