So grind the relevant craft skills yourself and laugh all the way to the bank because no-one else is bothering to craft low level items. You have nothing to lose at all and you will make, as you have said, "substantial profit".

Oh I don't want just gauranteed crafting, I want raid quality epics handed to me on a silver platter with zero effort. Just by the mere act of me being charged by this company a monthly bill I demand and expect everything I want to be handed to me by an 8 man/woman developer pulled sleigh courier team. (/sarcasm off) The crafting system needs a look at, especially at endgame. There's been enough discussion about it to make the dev team sit up and take notice that something needs to be done, and hopefully it will. I would hope some crew skills will be buffed and none nerfed. But until it does, I know you'll be quite pleased that these types of threads will be around for you to make snide little condescending remarks in to give yourself some pleasure. I can't stand them either. Rng based crafting just reeks of "we can't be bothered" style of developement. I hate SOE, but I loved their crafting in their games. I would be happy to RE items as a grind if each of the items you RE'd gave you a point total to work towards unlocking a blue recipe of your choosing, and the same with a purple. Purple point cost would be much higher than blues, but it would give me a visible goal to aim for and a selected payout rather than look at 80+ blues RE'd for nothing but a sad feeling of wasted time, money and effort. I love how my goons can do missions and craft, but as a longtime mmo crafter, I really, really hate this games crafting as it is currenty. I am a 400 Synthweaver wearing oranges with comm mods. Meh.

Yes it does, I got an Overkill Memory Fibre Body Armor from it, so it does indeed RE to blue. Took quite a few RE's as well.

Just going for pure blue upgrades now, i'm not going to waste my time or massive amounts of creds on trying to RE any more purples (have about 20 recipes in synthweaving) till I hit 50. Once I hit 50 I will happily grind and grind and grind and grind those RE's till I get the purples I want. As a soloer I am happy to be able to have some nice gear I have to work at to get. I still hate the RNG though. I have a soundproof basement with fun toys to play with when I finally find you.

About 75 Blues of a level 35 item RE'd and I gave up. I gave up because after #75 failed to produce a purple recipe, I RE'd my current belt I had been using for a new semi upgrade i'd gotten as a drop. The old belt I was no longer using RE'd as a purple. %@#$ you RNG.
