  2. Ultimately, it did not make the cover; they switched out Malgus and put Vader on it.
  3. This information does not exist in the game. The developers - expected datamining to provide that information to players - fed that information behind the scenes to content creators - expected the players to accidentally run into these bosses and then cooperatively pool that information Take your pick from above. In any case, the information is only available from external sources like Dulfy. The game shows "Light/Dark side victorious" which is an indirect indicator of which of the bosses may have spawned. Not all bosses are guaranteed to spawn, the spawn locations can rotate, they despawn at the slightest pretext and respawn timers are long. They "BW Austin"ed the whole design.
  4. Posting web addresses in chat on starting planets causes the poster to be squelched for a while. Could it be that? Or do you mean that /ginvite is not working?
  5. Some guilds tend to have periodic Datacron events rotating through the planets.
  6. Nothing happens to either. They'll be just fine. There seem to be several undesirable changes coming with 7.0 but some of the stuff in the original post is overblown or downright not true.
  7. Thanks for the additional information. This is unfortunate and significantly increases the gear grind for players - like me - with several characters that are relatively actively played.
  8. What about changing a combat style, how did that impact this? Can anybody else speak to this? Confirm or contradict? I was also under the impression that the DPS pieces (*) could be shared between all DPS characters. (*) The 10 pieces. Everything except weapons and implants.

  11. The cutscenes at the end of 6.x clearly show we’re going to get more Malgus; no secret there.
  12. They seemed to have claimed that content is tuned for 318 gear. Would that apply to SM Ops? I doubt it. One way to get decent starting gear for SM Ops in 7.0: - Level to 80 - Do Conquest, Heroics, Weeklies etc to get 318 or even 320 gear - Optionally get the 326 Legendary Implants (with the set bonus type benefits) - Do MM Flashpoints (the Weekly can be done thrice per character per week) to get 326 Blue (Supreme Decurion) gear - Use the MM FP gear in doing SM ops Of course, if the Group Finder doesn't prevent one from joining SM Ops in lower gear one could try that as well.

  14. The gear and gearing are changing significantly in 7.0, so there's not much benefit in pursuing it now.
  15. If you haven't already used the token, I'd recommend not doing so right now. There is some advantage to creating a character after the 7.0 update is on production servers. That is currently slated to happen on Feb 15. There are 2 ways to get a high level character instantly. The one you're talking about will complete the story up to the level you choose (60 or 70) and make several choices for you. At that point, you'll have the option to go to your ship and pick up the next story mission from a terminal inside it (the terminal will have a purple triangle on it).
  16. They will continue to exist. The usefulness of armorings (mods, ...) will be constrained to some character level ranges (levels 1-75) based on what each such individual item actually is; but they'll still be in your stotage. The CC armor sets will still be usable in the Outfit slots.

  18. They fixed it last October but seem to have broken it again. Chances are they fixed the live system at that time without updating their master copy of the event data (or some such thing.)

  21. Why must there be? Because you've gotten the piece and gotten rid of it? There are a lot of sets that have been removed from the game. These will be the same. The planned scheme explained above by BW just means more complication, more chances for BW to mess up, and more heartburn for players.
