  2. All the changes are great and all. But where is the sauce? No visuals for armor/ weapon/ mounts etc ? Come on guys, we want to see the designs.
  3. I would love to go on a huge discussion with some of the developers why they have forsaken Arsenal and other burst specs. It's currently in B tier in Pvp along with carnage, lethality. Quintessential ok spec. It has defensives, can pop off sometimes but generally is not something people choose for competitive pvp. I believe flat out boost to damage in pvp can break the class and make it too op. However, it does not apply to pve whatsoever. In pve we are a laughing stock of other players, especially on hm+/nim. Unless You are running apex with gold augments for that sunder buff because you are ranged, you are not needed for any other encounter. Because you will never be en pair with the other classes. I believe the problem is fundamentally easy to solve. There need to be more people working on balance of classes. Bioware does not have resources to keep a group focused purely on balancing every patch and I get that. It's a shame, that ea does not invest more. But it's a reality. In this reality though we can still have good performing burst dps in pve, at least the same level as other classes, because that is what balance is supposed to be. Just put does not apply to pvp when it becomes to ridiculous. Developers serious question: Is this something that you can do? Or will the system not allow this? We have given feedback, and we deserve answers.
  4. Hello Dev team. I am a Mercenary at heart and have always enjoyed the class/ combat style now. Ever since forever I played both dps specs and dabbled into healing on occasion. I have one big problem with one of the specs. Yes, you guessed it. Arsenal is in a poor state. I understand why you wouldnt buff it's damage. Because of pvp and how op it would become to delete players with few skills. Or maybe you just hate it because reasons... I don't care, I would love to see it perform decent again. There are 2 ways to go around the problem. 1. The easy way is to do what world of Warcraft is doing when class is underperforming in pve. Make this buff, whether it's 3/ 5 percent only apply to pve by implementing; "Does not apply in pvp/warzones/ arenas". This is an easy solution that will allow us to enjoy pumping numbers on bosses as it should be. 2. Redesign the combat style, make drastic changes to the way it's played. I know Arsenal is a burst dps spec, but why would you add ticking dot to it in form of a priming shot and then another ability tick it's damage. Doesn't that sound awful lot like dirty fighting/ virulence? If you chosen this path, get heat signature to tick as well, or another dot. Maybe instead of making tracer missile instant, make priming shot apply rail signature, to make rail shot hit even harder and then disappear after you used it, to be re applied in another cycle. How about making it full burst with spamming that tracer missile to death, heatseeker hitting like a truck alongside rail shot with another cool down adding even better dps window. Maybe heat signature can be a stacking debuff to 10 and when you hit it with heatseeker at so many stacks it explodes hitting everything around in 10m radius. Another good idea would be to buff damage in in 80%+ health of the boss and under 30%. This way you would have 2 execute phases and will make up for lost sustain along the way. The random charge is not affecting the damage dealt. Extension on supercharged gas does not affect the damage dealt. The extra charge on priming shot makes this class even less fun and gathering those stacks are slower. Please combat designers/ class designers read this and speak to us, communicate. I have seen people make so many good ideas on how to improve this style, making it great again, or at least competitive with the others. I implore, make it less garbage, so that Arsenal enthusiasts can elevate it to the highest potential possible and casuals can still spam abilities like crazy and think they are fire.   5. Why do you deny boosting Arsenal mercs base damage up 5%. Is it that difficult to do? I need a serious explanation because at this point, increasing supercharged gas 4 secs won't be enough to change things. Let Arsenal be viable again. There are people that remember when they used to compete with marauder and sniper in df/dp. They need buff alongside those changes. It needs to happen. Please any dev answer.

  9. I am amazed, yet again. Second episode of Mandalorian is out, people are hyped for star wars and we have no words from developers, like literally nothing. Update on what events are running throughout March is the best you can do? Surely that is not the case! Let us know what is cooking! Even if there is not much, we have the right to be hyped and stay subbed, continue to make these threads, because without it, what's left? Come on developers, you were on a good wave of updates, we need more! Now is the time to act again.

  11. We must also take into consideration, that normal player will not go after heroics on their own. Unless they play with friends, or are in the group by chance, they wont do it, So qonquest is their only source of income at this point, as credits looted from started planets mobs and quests are negligible. The other part is that once they get into fleet, they will likely spend a ton on looking "fly", instead of a mess gear they get, they will likely set up a look that vibes with them, using the cheapest pieces possible, most likely spending all the money they earned. xD Also this game does not teach players its features by example. You have to read it in blocks of texts being thrown at you by tutorials and lets be serious, the average gamer has an attention span of a goldsifh for such things. Unless they change that, there will never be new players not affected by quick travel "money sink".
  12. Why this topic turned from returning to old worlds to wookie race debate? Just get it over with, Wookies will not be added as a playable race. The same goes for Yoda species, Jawas, Ewoks, Geonosians, Hutts. Why is it so difficult for some people to accept? Kel Dor was not added, for reasons, and it is Humanoidish race with basic.
  13. 7.2 has dawned upon us and we did not hear a single word on balancing. Is that intentional, it that the way things should work? I can see a huge problem with our class, especially Arsenal spec tree, that is constantly being dismissed and hidden behind meaningless changes. Can we have a dps boost? Maybe a stronger dot that gives us some more sustained dps? Thanks in advance, to anyone who's reading.
  14. TLDR Warning I wholeheartedly agree with the idea to come back to the old planets. Every once in a while I level up a new toon, just to revisit what galaxy has to offer, and on both sides too! I am a prequel boi and grew up with those movies, and thus some planets work better with me than others. You cannot deny original Kotor vibes as well. 1. Couruscant. It has always made a big impression on me. I find it very underdeveloped in the game, especially the lack of grandeur. I believe it is about time, after so many years to rebuild the Jedi Temple, as Sith do not command the capital of the galaxy. Just imagine the spark in the community when something like this is announced, or hinted at. Is it only me, or would it actually be something great? It would be immensly RP heavy for us, even for those who do not participate in active RP. I would love just to hang out in the halls or library with my guildmates, talking on discord and act a fool there. And it didn’t even have to stand in the same place as the ruins, it can be rebuild in the close proximity, with the ruins still being a part of the low levels stories and do not contradict with continuity of events. Couruscant as well as lower levels, which we see a little bit, has those big skyscrapers, which we can have some mission in. Like we see in Episode 2, when Kenobi and Skywalker are protecting Padme. Not only limited to protecting a senator or chasing a bounty hunter, but maybe uncover a sith that tries to infiltrate the city to interrupt with the reconstruction of a new jedi temple? How about a wealthy gangsters chilling in the top floors like we see in the animated series Invincible and blasting our way through them, until we get big daddy boss who spanks us pretty hard and we have to come back with a whole group to take him down? Toborro vibes ey? I have many ideas, but won’t throw them all out there for free. ( bioware <wink><wink>) 2. Tatooine. The other planet to which I have a soft spot for is a binary suns desert. I do not know why, but I do like sand. And we have some potential when it comes to this planet as well. Lots of open spaces, tusken raiders, hutts, raiders, vagabonds, monsters and much more. I especially love the soundtrack around this planet, so climactic. And doing heroics there on Imp side was my favourite of all. (the quickest hehe) How about they actually do fast pod racing instead of the abomination which is, whatever is happening with blatant beks and the gangs on dantooine. ( Forgive my ignorance, I rarely played this, it is very lacking in my opinion) Imagine an event, triggered every month or two, a world change, where they would build pod racing course on the dune sea. Hutts gather from across their controlled space to witness how players race to their pleasure. I understand it will be very hard to do crashing and destruction of the pods, but we can still keep the cool parts. You can buy several different types of pods, customise it like need for speed, and all that in the name of money sinks. And not only racing, but there could be some missions including betting for npc races and some other gathering/ killing missions too. I do believe this is too ambitious, but you can’t blame the boi for dreaming. The other part of Tatooine is that it has a dedicated pvp zone. There could be an incentive to actually go there, instead of a weak quest that rewards 20k credits. Is it still there? We can introduce an instanced version of this zone as a new arena maybe? Again, wasted potential in my opinion. Tatooine is a home to the worst hive of scum and villainy this galaxy has to offer. And we see a come back in the name of Bounty Brokers Association, I also think there is room to improve on that scene. Hunting other bounty hunters and assassins trying to make their name attacking wrong targets, or even our companions on a holiday, and we have to rescue their skin? 3. Alderaan- Ah yes, as someone called it medieval hellhole with space technology. Partly true and it does not have to be a bad thing. They can actually do some reputation style action, when we choose to support one house, and do dailies/ weeklies/ normal planet mission and heroics that bioware would assign to corresponding house. Every week/two weeks one house wins thanks to the players contribution and then those players get access to rewards vendor, which is different for every house, thus the incentive to do different one each rotation, or fight to come back to the same one for that sweet sweet decos or armors. Would not require tons of effort that, just add a bar to fill and some decos/ armors- done. 4. Dromund Kaas- we talked about Rep capital, lets do the Imp one too. Although sad, rainy and dark, it is still the heart of the Empire (not the fleet xD). As we the blasted Commander (urgh) are working again for the Empire/ Republic we should see coming back to these planets and see them changed in a way like I mentioned with the Jedi Temple. How about we can see some more of the city, maybe revisit the temple in a less crazed version, being an actual place of training and worship of the old teachings/ sith sorcerery etc. Lots of different possibilites there, as Rivix can take us on a tour (please don’t) of a refurbrished planet. 5. Taris/ Hoth/ Starter Planets- I believe I saw mentions of those planets as well in this topic and several others. Yes, thousand times yes. Hoth is a frozen wasteland with lots of room for potential things to do, Taris is climactic as well. Coming back from Kotor, to show us a lot of damage and wild nature of rakghuls. Starter planets- Korriban ( So Cool) Ord Mantell ( now on the Bad Batch so hype?) , Hutta- let smugglers finally go there for crying out loud, Tython- move the temple to couruscant already please. 6. Oricon- Can we have a house there pretty please? 7. Belsavis, Corellia, Balmora- I got nothing on these guys, but I have seen some Corellia input here, could be nice? Bioware make us happy. I know its a lot, but its just a tip of the iceberg of ideas many of us have. And I am no fool, I know some people at Bioware think about it too. Will it come to fruition? No one can know for sure, but we can hope right?
