Maybe you might take a step back and calm down. I think you are getting upset for no reason at all at this point. Just because someone said something without proof. And you know what? There are people who like the Arcann romance but like other LIs and companions as well! My favourite for example is actually Theron and not Arcann.

I never said a majority requested the romance but it should be obvious that there are people who like it. No one can really say how much - not everyone might even have a character ready to pursue the romance as you have to finish kotet chapter 9 for it. So only Bioware knows how many people are using this option. As I said before: there is no proof that we get more Arcann content at all or before all companions are returned. Corso, Risha, Vector, Ashara and all the other classic LIs had romance progression with multiple flirt + romance scenes during chapter 1-3 + kotfe/kotet. You can even marry them. Koth, Theron and Lana had romance progression with multiple flirts + romance scenes too. Arcann just had a single romance scene that included two flirts. So yes - it would be fair to give him as new LI more scenes. He is not an established LI that returns but a completely new LI. And as I said: I do agree that companion returns should have highest priority.

And do you have the link where the voice actor said it? Because I can't find it. There is only a tweet about a new character. So not Arcann related. And even if this is true this would just mean that we might get to see more content sometime in the future - that does not mean it will happen before all companions are returned. So you might have everyone back until we see more Arcann content - and more Arcann content does not mean it is romance related by the way. As I said - to have more Arcann romance content in the future would be "fair" because he has the least content by far compared to the other LIs. But we don't know if and when this will come. Likely never.

I haven't seen it in spoiler section and I am not going to check multiple pages for that. It is not relevant at all - just because someone said this doesn't mean it is going to happen. This is the internet - people sometimes tell stupid things or lie about things. Or they just heard a rumour or just want attention - anyway, this is no proof. I agree that companion returns should have priority.

This is news to me. I have not seen something official announced or from other sources. So basically this might not happening at all. And if it happens it might be that other companions get additional content too. We don't know that yet so no reason to get upset about it yet. Besides - all other companions already had several flirts and romance related cutscenes so in this regard the Arcann romance is the only one (not counting one night stands with certain NPCs) with less romance content. And yes - I want more content for all other companions too.

That would be great but I guess it is too much to ask for as they have to do different animations then for all other classes. But even such small differences between the classes and class stories would help to make replaying the unified story more enjoyable. @Esh: what happened to your avatar pic?

I am not a fan of first person view either - if it is a single page like for example in the Dark Elf books where you have before a chapter starts a first person view from Drizzt Do'Urden it is ok I think. I think first person view can be nice to get some more insight into a single persons feelings/thoughts. But you have a very limited viewpoint there as well. I think you need a very interesting main character and a very good way to describe things to make it not boring. If you have a narrator you likely get additional information about what is happening at the same time to other characters for example. So more diversity. In my opinion.

I am starting to think we might need to get some kind of NSFW warning in the thread title.... Thank you - I really enjoyed reading it! And it really felt in character (in my opinion) for the NPCs. Unfortunately we never see a reaction from Koth when Arcann joins the alliance. I think he might even try to kill Arcann and leave the alliance in this case. If you like further suggestions - what about if Arcann sees the first time the scar from where he stabbed her? Of course provided that happened in the story.

We already have a story + lore section in the forum, I think that would fit.

Force bonds are really interesting - I mean you have it (often?) with Master/Padawan and I guess between Sith Master/Apprentice too (wasn't there a force bond between Ashara and Sith Inqui?) so I think if you have two lovers that are force sensitive it is quite likely that they share a force bond too. Regarding break ups: I am glad those reactions (even in letter form - better than nothing) are in the game but I try to avoid it. It is just so sad. Until now my characters stay with the LI they have and don't romance someone else if I already know they will get someone else later.

I don't mind Umbara, not my favourite but I don't hate it. But I really like the Copero FP - nice view and decorations!

I really love your posts But while I agree that there is a lot of unnecessary romance/companion thread bickering it does show how much people care about the story. Maybe instead of general discussion it would be better to move them to the story and lore section. If Bioware screws something up like GC or now conquests you do see a flood of threads regarding this issue. They know they screwed up. So I don't think that having 1 to 3 romance/companion threads on the first page is really the reason why they need so long to sort things out or that other threads are not considered. Other threads normally move really fast within a day from page 1 to page 2 and out of sight. Romance/companion threads have people regularly posting for discussion and so tend to stay on the first two pages. But again - you see rarely more than 2 or 3 of these appreciation threads on the first page. This can't really be an issue.

Actually I don't really like her voice - it is kind of I don't know, piercing/sharp? But fits her character and I really like the way she accentuates the words - like in the sentence on Asylum when she says "You always know just how to brighten my day". I mean just the way she delivers this single line is really awesome. Ok I guess I got lost on the way - so there is now an order of Vaylin and a Voodoo division? If this continues I guess we need some kind of chart to show responsibilities and hierarchy and who is doing what and how?

Hmh, interesting, I think she says something about "Thexan wasn't our only sibling" - this would fit even to several more siblings not just a fourth one. So could fit the Emperors children although they weren't really his children.

As I said - from resource point I can understand them keeping on Lana + Theron. And I don't want them to be killed off without us being able to intervene. But personally, while I like Lana + Theron I would prefer a change in story too - not necessarily with complete new companions as they would just replace Lana + Theron and then you would have the new companion 1 + new companion 2 "show". We have so many existing companions - I would really like if they would expand on that. Question is if we really need 1-2 basic unkillable companions to walk us through the story. The main focus should be our character. There are a lot of NPCs (non companions) that can be used to process the story. Like Darth Vowran for example or other NPCs we met during our class stories. Maybe some of them can even become new companions (maybe class specific - let's say Jonas Balker for troopers). You could have possible new companions that are already known so no new introduction necessary. And for the remaining companions, at least for the LIs they can have some letters or one liners so that there is at least some kind of interaction with them that wouldn't take too much ressource effort.

Wow sounds pretty dark - I mean how many planets would they have been able to save then? Not so much, would have become quite an empty galaxy after that... so glad they did not went with it. But to treat the different classes separately in the story should have been more in focus.

Very interesting - I never saw what happened if you surrender. I don't think one of my characters will choose this option - there is no guarantee that Arcann will keep his word and even if Lana and the other remaining people on Asylum are not killed that day the whole reason Lana freed you was to battle against Arcann. If you surrender you loose the Gravestone for sure and nothing was won at all. If you battle you have at least a chance. Thank you, didn't noticed that dialog choice. Have to keep looking for it when I am again at this point. But with that I am pretty sure he is lying to you on Asylum - why should he try to separate you from his father when the whole point was to keep him locked up? During chapter Disavowed you can say to Aric that Arcann is a victim too - that he stood in the shadow of Valkorion. Then Valkorion replies "Mine was not the only shadow the boy stood in". Do you know what he means by that? And in the cutscene when Vaylin tells Arcann to cheer up and where he says "Am I laughing" she replies "You never laughed". Didn't they speak in a later cutscene about how they spend as kids a month in the swamps? I thought this was maybe a happy time for them just the three of them together. But does that mean Arcann didn't even laugh during that time? I can't really imagine that - never around Valkorion for sure but I would assume that at least for such a time just the three of them would lighten his mood.

Just another thing I noticed as I played kotfe yesterday again. Lana knows that you are imprisoned in carbonite and that you are dying because of the imperfect process of carbonization. Based on what Lana says (something like you aren't rescued yet (because they still need to escape) but I kept you from dying instantly) I guess getting out of carbonite would normally kill you without the cure. But you were affected during your time in carbonite - you were clearly suffering during the dream phase. I wonder - if Lana knows this I am pretty sure Arcann knows it as well. And if Lana can obtain a cure I guess Arcann can do so as well. So - does he not cure the outlander because he needs to free the outlander for that and he thinks it is a risk that his father would maybe jump to a different person and escape? Why was the carbonization process even imperfect? We see a lot of carbonite blocks with people inside in this chamber. Clearly they had a lot of practise. And the Bounty Hunters use it as well to transfer prisoners. Zakuul really seems quite technologically advanced - but they botched the carbonization process? Do you think it was maybe on purpose? To keep the outlander week and have another security layer if someone would one day free the outlander? Although this did not prevent Lana from saving the outlander but it might have cost her additional time. I think it comes down to what Arcanns plan was for the outlander and his father - to keep him inside the outlander and frozen in carbonite locked for eternity to get rid of this father? Then it would have been helpful to keep the outlander healthy. Not sure what would have happened to Valkorion if the outlander had died - I guess he would stil be able to leave the outlander but I don't think Arcann is aware of all Valkorions possibilities. And I saw a video about what Arcann says if the outlander kneels. He is clearly jealous. I think this means he doesn't really know that his father is going to inhabit the outlanders body? At least I think this is what Valkorion intended to do when Arcann killed him and stopped the process. If you don't kneel I think without your consent Valkorion cannot completely posess you. So I guess by killing Valkorion Arcann might have saved you But on Asylum Arcann tells you he is looking for a way to separate his father from you. Not sure if he is lying but I wonder what he really understands about Valkorion and how he thinks he can kill his fathers ghost? All very complicated - I wish Charles would give us some more insight into this. I mean the Valkorion story is over now so no need to keep spoilers.

I can totally see Agent + Arcann together. That is one reason why I can play with different characters over and over again - you may need sometimes a little head canon but the game already gives you so many different options to play your characters differently. You can play an Agent deeply hurt by the manipulation done to you by your own government or accept it as being part of the job. Play a evil, psychopatic, "murder everything" Sith or as it was said before an intelligent Sith who manipulates others to underestimate him/her....
