He does try to get rid of her and Arcann (chapter 1 + 9 in kotet) but it shows that he does care too. I have only seen videos of chapter 1 when you don't spare Senya/Arcann and he sings to her before she dies. And in chapter 9 like the way he says "Senya" and looks down when she appears - it is kind of sad. I still don't get how it fits together that he planned to kill of living beings in the galaxy when he apparently wants to rule Zakuul further? Or was it just misunderstood from Scourge and Vitiate just needed a single planet? I mean he already was kind of immortal as he could jump from body to body. Why was Ziost even needed? To grow his power? So many questions.... Back to Arcann - what do you think he did all day long sitting on his thone? He did looked bored in quite some cutscenes I think....

Agreed to all of it (yes exclamation marks too). Additionally with the characters that were not interested in his offer for some private time he still acts as if they had something - this is really annoying. Besides that I am always for more options and LIs so I support this (and I like to ask for Zenith, Talos and Pierce to be romanceable too, thank you).

I did my first conquest ever on a character this weekend and the Introduction to Conquest quest is bugged now too. There is already a post in the bug report forum about it. Seems they broke it with their latest changes. What I don't understand is how they can add Makeb weekly to the Conquest activities when it can't be completed. As far as I know this is not a new bug. I think I had read something about it some time ago which is why I checked the forum first before trying to do it. But not everyone knows that. If they need longer time to fix it fine, but at least don't add it to the Conquest board if it can't be done. I did the conquest for the first time to access the new vendor for the decorations and the compendium. Not that the compendium is much cheaper than using gifts but it definitely saves time (even with the legacy unlock to speed up giving gifts it is just annoying).

I see the thread has moved on, good thing My impression of Theron is that he is willing to do what is necessary to get the job done. If he thinks he would only achieve his goal by seducing someone I think he would do it. But I don't think that is what he is normally going for - this might be the usual approach for Jonas but I think Theron would first try to find other ways to get what he wants because I see him being more comfortable with that. I mean if he has to seduce someone he might have to imply that he cares about this person more than he does and then let him/her fall afterwards. I don't think Theron would be comfortable with that seeing that he was left behind himself so many times. And I get the impression social interaction is not really his thing. So while I think he does what is necessary for the greater good and to achieve his goal he would at least try to resort to methods he is more comfortable with. And I don't see him as having casual sex/flings to relieve his stress. I can see him having a night alone drinking too much but not really that he is in general drinking too much. Maybe when he father dies or when the player disappears at the beginning of kotfe and when he is in love with him/her. But regularly? That would affect his abililty to work and with alcolhol you are losing control - something I don't think Theron would like to. While I have nearly for every LI at least one character most of them (male and female) are for Theron. I think he has an interesting dynamic with every class.

I understand the wish to fight back and I did not ask people to not do that. But: A single person does not speak for all others. If someone who happen to like for example Theron and Vector insults you then it is the action of this single person. This person does not stand for the complete Theron + Vector fan base. Meaning just because this person acts like a troll doesn't mean all Theron and Vector fans are trolls and should now receive your hate in return. They don't deserve that. If someone who loves Quinn insults someone who loves Lana you would surely not like them to bash now all Quinn fans because one of them insulted a Lana fan. If someone just posts (not in a fan thread) that they hate character x then this alone is not an attack or insult - I really mean attacking/insulting other players/posters. Like saying something must be wrong with someone if they like character xyz and so on. This is not ok. Just saying (again not in a fan thread) they don't like character x is ok in my opinion.

I am quoting you Luna but it is meant to be general as well. It is true that Arcann isn't the only character that receives or received hate in the past. And while hating the character is fine, putting it out on the fans is not. Doesn't matter which fandom. And people coming into fan threads just to troll and bash the character is not ok - doesn't matter which fan thread. But outside of fan threads is where the fighting starts again - like in this thread. Someone starts with some remark and others join in to bash/insult/make snide remarks, others to defend and it goes downhill from there. And the cycle continues in the next thread. Like an endless loop. Even outside fan threads people shouldn't bash fans but only the characters they hate. Of course there are people hating Arcann or other characters but still be civilised about it. So sorry about that - with Anti Arcann people I didn't mean of course everyone hating Arcann. I post rarely but read a lot although not every post and thread. I can't speak for all people in the fandom - just for myself. As I said - and it is just my personal impression of course - I haven't seen recent attacks from people who like Arcann against others - but mostly the other way around. That doesn't mean that it is not happening or that it doesn't happened in the past. And if it happened - and no matter which fan is attacking which other fan - it is not ok. I just think it is ridiculous to have fandom fight against fandom. Just because people are fan of x doesn't mean they aren't fan of y or z as well, generally speaking. And if people misbehave it is just them and doesn't speak for the complete fandom. If I get insulted by let's say a Koth fan I wouldn't blame all Koth fans - just the person who insulted me. I am sorry if you, others or your fan threads were harassed - no matter who it was. This shouldn't have happened. But if it was by someone who like Arcann doesn't mean that the complete Arcann fan base is at fault or did this. I am just saying that I have seen especially against Arcann fans a lot of hate - cyberbullying inclusive. Peoples opinion being dismissed just because they are seen as too "young", people beeing accused of being mentally ill because they like Arcann, people posting on twitter that Arcann fans are aggressive, hostile and into incest (no idea how people came up with that crazy idea), people even attacking the writers... and so on. I know that fans of other characters get hate too. It isn't just Arcann fans. I choose him because in recent time I find mostly hate towards this fandom but I am sure it exists against other fans as well. I really hope we can work past that. It seems there will always be individuals who decide to behave in an uncivilised manner but these are single persons that should be called out on their behaviour and not the complete fan base be accused of being at fault or acting the same. And we might just ignore this person and not take the opportunity to jump in to bash the corresponding fan base. It shouldn't be fans against fans - we should work together to get more content for all our companions and LIs. As long as we fight each other we won't really accomplish anything. Bioware will of course do what they want but if we can at least voice together our wish to get more story + companion/LI content we might get at least heared.

People in the Arcann thread are very tolerant. There are a lot of Arcann fans that like other LIs and companions (Zenith included) too which is one reason why they don't bash other LIs or fans. The only hate I am constantly seeing is from anti-Arcann people against Arcann fans. Because obviously it is enough to like Arcann to be labeled as a person that deserves to be hated. People can hate Arcann how much they like but to attack the fans just because they like Arcann is not acceptable for me. People are allowed to have personal opinions. Some hate Arcann which is fine. Some may hate Theron or Zenith which is fine. This is just personal opinion. And that is not bashing the fans. But saying nasty things about fans and insulting them is not ok. This is the difference. And I haven't seen that being done by any Arcann fan - only by the anti-Arcann people. And even if a single person does or say something that is not ok (like insulting persons) - this is only the doing of a single person then and does not speak for everyone else in a fandom. Maybe just think about how you treat others and think about if you like to be treated exactly like that too. Or if you would like to read the things you write about other LIs (that you maybe don't like) being written by other people about the LIs you like. Anyway - I said my stuff. I am really fed up with the companion bickering and fighting and people who bash and insult fans just because they hate a character they like. You know where people can have a tolerant talk about any LI and things in general without hate and insulting and bashing of anyone or anything? In the Arcann thread. This is right now for me the only place that keeps its sanity.

Really people calm down. There is nothing to it. Don't you think in the Lana and Arcann fan threads people would be talking about if there were informations about getting new content? And? No one is talking about that because someone just made it up - maybe even to fuel some hate against Lana and Arcann. There is no proof no hint nothing. Anyone can make things up - welcome to the internet. We don't know if and how much content we will get for any companion/LI. Just speculation at this point so no reason at all to get mad. And seriously no reason to start a my companion/LI is better than your companion / LI bickering/fight. I can see why people start to ask Bioware to exclude romances from games. I guess people just don't get that people who like Arcann and Lana like other LIs too. Like Theron for example. Is that so difficult to understand? Besides - Bioware decides what is going to happen. We can post how much we like but in the end they do what they want. And if we get more content in the future I do hope it is for all LIs but right now it might even be that we get nothing at all for anyone.

I agree, I think keeping the alliance but sided with Rep or Imp would be a way to allow players to switch their factions and keep faction specific companions. Otherwise it will be a little awkward. I mean will the Republic ignore if you as previous Rep side sided on Iokath with the Imperium? And other way around? And will you lose Elara if you are imperial and sided with Rep on Iokath and now must go back to Imp side?

Yes and highly anticipated But that does not mean Scourge is getting any more content in the future. Just because a LI cannot be killed does not mean we will get more to see of them. I hope we will but I am not very optimistic.

The problem is - even without kill option there is no guarantee that Theron or Lana or the other LIs will receive more content in the future - romance related or not. I love Theron but I fear story isn't that much of a priority anymore. We can be happy if we get some letters.

There are actually a lot of LIs in the game - so I don't get why you think there is only Arcann or Lana left? We don't know what will happen in the future with a new expansion. We might get new LIs or not - and it is possible that we won't get any new LI content at all anymore - for all of them. No matter if they can die in the story or not. Actually - take Vector and Ashara as example - both cannot die in the story. Does that mean they get more romance content in the future? We don't know. Does it mean Lana gets more content because until now we cannot kill her? We don't know. Does Arcann get more content in the future? We don't know. All speculation. Romance is a part of the story content which is as we saw obviously not a priority anymore. And in the stream they said they are now going to focus on PVP next. So expect even less. I for example, hope for the best and expect the worst. I have several characters with different LIs and many of them for Theron actually. And I will be glad for every new related content for them - but even if we don't get anmore that will not stop me from choosing Theron and the others as LIs for my characters. Bioware might not want or can't give us as much content we like, especially romance related, but that doesn't stop me from playing my characters.

Regarding Theron kill option: I do have the impression that there is no kill option. Charles thinks that if he tells us that we can kill or not kill Theron that this would give us information about the story. Let's say there is no kill option. It could of course mean that he is going to be killed regardless and the player has no choice about that. But as Theron is a LI and companion I don't see that happening. Other reason that feels more likely in my opinion is that there is no need to kill him because he wasn't working against the alliance. I think if Charles had just confirmed a kill option it would not give something about the story away. Because even if Theron is not a traitor people would maybe still like to kill him for not telling the Commander about his plans. So a kill option does not mean he is a traitor or that he is not a traitor so not really giving the story away. So saying there is no kill option would be more of a spoiler compared to no kill option. Of course, that does not mean there is no kill option - it is just the impression I got while watching the stream.

Kill options are an important part to further role play characters. It just feels out of character in some situations when you can't do it. Like for example with Quinn during the class story. To kill him later during Iokath felt stupid to me - I would have preferred to be able to kill him during the class story. Not after I have already spared his life. But the important part here is that killable companions - at least if they are LIs - should receive further content. Just because someone killed Quinn with a single character in one play through shouldn't mean that the same or other players that spared him and even have him as LI in other play throughs doesn't receive further content for him. Charles said in a stream once that death doesn't prevent a character to get more content. I hope that is really a way forward - not just with letters but still with some (even short) scenes and voiced lines for all LIs (for all companions even non LIs would be great too but I guess that will be too much to ask for).

I think the best way to solve this is to not disband the alliance but to keep it - we already sided with Rep or Imp in Iokath. We can still have Rep vs. Imp by keeping the alliance. The alliance will then fight with the Rep or Imp side against the other faction. But this would prevent a lot of problems that would otherwise come up for example for players who support not their original faction and companions who are faction specific (like Elara or Quinn).

I am not really seeing that Arcann has blond hair or Thexan darker hair than Arcann. I think both have dark hair, rather short though. I finally did it - my Jedi Knight has found her love.

Valkorion is wearing mostly white too and Vaylin black. I don't think evil/good really fits here but I agree it was for the twins used to distinguish them. Just watched the trailer again - they have black/white clothing even as children. So the audience can see that it is always the white one who is getting angry

So regarding Arcann - I was wondering about his mask. Especially the part that covers the eye - do you think he has some kind of build in features there like zoom? Do you think he only takes off the mask for eating and cleaning/take a shower? Maybe sleeping? He seems to wear it even when he is alone (or only with Vaylin) in the throne room.

I know - I love Zenith as well, really hoped he would be a LI. Same with Talos. And I don't use the Odessen terminal too - it isn't the same. I don't play kotfe with my characters where I am still waiting on companions/LIs that are important for me to return. With the small return scenes that we get even for LIs I don't understand why it still takes so long to get everyone back. It isn't even a meaningful return at this time point.

Yes we really need something there. He did help the alliance but there should still be an option for the player to exile him or put him into prison or maybe give him to Rep/Imp authorities... and as you said - maybe additionally some hints in a letter what he is doing for atonement? I mean besides helping fighting if you have him as companion. I would like to have for all recruited companions some information what they are doing when they are not traveling with you. The writer who wrote his romance is gone since some months. And even if something was planned some time ago it might get cancelled and never delivered. So we really have to wait. Maybe the game shuts down this year - who knows? At this point I am happy if we get at least some letters from our companions. At least something.
