  1. Not gonna happen. Bioware didn't even have the foresight to add AA and high res textures. They're actually REGRESSING the genre
  2. Bioware didn't have the foresight to add AA and high res textures in a 2011 MMO. What makes you think they're competent enough to give ANYONE what they want?
  3. It's funny because SWTOR doesn't have night and day. Just sayin
  4. 40% of the population: "Ya we're gonna leave" Fanboys: "WE DIDN'T WANT YOU ANY WAY!" This should be good
  5. I wonder what goes through peoples heads when they're sick of WoW, so they quit and go to another version of WoW
  6. I gave SWTOR a chance. In fact i gave it a chance AND 60 dollars. You know what i got? A striped down, buggy WoW clone with lots of talking
  7. Actually what you're experiancing now is called "New Factor" Don't you think it's amazing that every time the new "WoW killer" comes out, there are LEGIONS of people who rabidly defend it with excuses like: -But it just released! -But it has potential! -But MMO X had this problem, so it's fine if this one has it to! EVERY.... TIME. SWTOR will be another failed WoW killer in the long list of failed WoW killers The sad thing is that even if SWTOR got EVERYTHING right, the MOST it could hope to be is a WoW clone with voice overs. Such wasted potential
  8. Unfortunately for you, SWTOR doesn't have NEARLY the amount of basic features that have become mainstream for MMOs LFG tool Cross server scenarios ...Even day and night cycle. Bioware couldn't even include DAY AND NIGHT CYCLES? (Hell they could include anti-aliasing or high res textures so maybe it was too much to ask) Sorry but this game is OBJECTIVELY inferior to other MMOs on the market. And guess what, SWTOR hasn't even had to COMPETE with a new MMO yet. Just let that sink in for a second.
  9. Tell you what. Go compare a 2011 Ford Mustang to a 1987 Pinto and see if anyone thinks your argument holds water. Semantics are nice, but they don't buy subs
  10. I've said it before. SWTOR will fail because it's built on a false premise not because of bugs -Linear planets don't work. -Crew skills mean you literally never have to re-explore planets. -Voice over means that content will take longer to produce. The longer it takes to produce, the more bored people will get. Why do you think every flashpoint from level 16+ is the polar opposite of Esseles and Black Talon? -There is a load scene every 5 feet. This is the best way to make your players feel restricted and one of the main reasons why a theme park Star Wars MMO WILL NOT WORK. Star Wars is about tons of different planets and areas, which means tons of load scenes -The voice acting also means that no one will ever get to play an alien race like wookie or bothan. So i hope you enjoy playing humans with different colored skin for the next 10 years
  11. Ya know people keep saying it's the same people that are complaining on the forums, but I also see the same people DEFENDING the game because they're growing insecure about the fact that more and more people are starting to hate their "WoW killer"
  12. Yeah dude you totally showed him... Showing him a thread where he said.. He... Cancelled... Sorry where does the "owned" part come in?
  13. We KNOW how it works. WoW didn't see a good launch and then a sudden dip because the servers were "equalizing" Because first of all, when SWTOR launched they were already starting to equalize because of the early access Secondly if the game was growing, the growth would compensate for the loss in activity and we would see either a steady rise or plateau
  14. You think SWTOR has game cards?! BAAAHAHA. Look at this guy, thinking SWTOR is keeping up with 2012 standards
  15. I JUST explained how that is false. Do I REALLY need to explain it again?
  16. Yes we KNOW the data is compiled by concurrent users. Problem is, if the game was growing, the growth would compensate for the loss of activity and activity would either raise or remain the same... but its NOT. It's DROPPING. And i don't mean a 50k drop in average, I mean a drop of freaking 300k+
  17. Ya know, that seems to be a recurring theme around this game...
  18. The actual MMO staples would be nice, BUT Bioware forgot those to You REALLY think story is going to carry this game for 10 years? Is that what you REALLYYY think? I doubt you actually think that, I really doubt it.
  19. You wrote half a novel to tell me how great SWTORs stories are. Awesome, cool, sweet, great. Anything else you want to waste my time with?
  20. So 2 out of the 21 planets aren't linear? Sorry, that's not gonna cut it especially when you have no reason to revisit them after you hit 50. And i know about Revan, but guess what: And quit with these excuses. Yeah they laid the FOUNDATION, unfortunately they're competing in a housing market, not a foundation market. Oh and Bioware Austin IS NOT new to MMOs, they have A LOT of MMO vets from Warhammer and SWG. 2 failed MMOs, go figure
  21. Why are you continuing to defend a lazy company? WoW doesn't NEED to have the ability to sit in chairs. But they DO. Why? Cause they CAN. Bioware made a WoW clone with the bare features and slapped Star Wars on it. If this game didn't have the Star Wars IP on the front NO ONE would have given this game a second glance. NO ONE
  22. No but they all have day night cycles and combat logs don't they? Oh and they all launched with AA and High Res textures. Can't say the same for Bioware and their crack team of story masters
  23. Really? Are we? Bioware pours most of their budget into voice acting, creates linear worlds, leaves out 7 years of features that have come to be the norm in MMOs and they lazily throw together a few raids and flash points with bosses of NO lore significance what so ever, and you still think they're setting up for long term success? Let me ask you something, why does a game like Guild Wars 2, from a company with not even a quarter of the recognition of Bioware, manage to have features like a LFG system, day night cycles, swimming, a dynamic world, and yes FULL voice overs. But Bioware, a world reknown developer couldn't even manage to include AA and high res textures in the final release. What makes you think SWTOR will survive a 2012 market when not only BETTER games are coming out, but those better games... ARE FREE TO PLAY
