Keep at it OP, it does get better over time and at LEAST three of the SWTOR PvPers are decent people. People play to enjoy themselves, I understand that. Please remember you are not smashing NPC resource nodes and that you REQUIRE opponents to queue or YOU do not get a warzone at all. (The top 20 servers list stats should show you why you should care, if you asked yourself.) Good luck, enjoy the game

PvP is situational, while it is extrememly rare in ranked warzones, I have seen the 1-4-1-2 split nonsense where people wander off on their own, work in civil war, usually it means you had the firepower to easily hold/cap a side and mid anyway but meh people play to enjoy.. I am guilty of pressing the "votekick" button when we have 2-3 stealthers at their only node watching the one guy defending while we are getting belted 7-4 mid and could do with a distraction. " I want them to engage or quit" I am also guilty of being happy when the same stealthers rollout and cap the 2 sides drawing away people from mid so we can get a sustainable side mid cap routine going. , I congratulate them on the flips.

If you think someone is cheating report it. If you think that nothing is being done, do something ingame about it yourself, just be ready for when you get reported. OR , join their guild spend 12 months becoming trusted, then destroy their guild from within, permenantly destroying long term real life friendships, it is how we would do it in EvE........ or if you think someone is cheating report it.

Bring back total loss of gear on death and let the players sort it all out...... IMHO, it would at least reduce the number of posters to the forums.

I personally find sorc to be fun in 50s pvp but I have a fair bit of gear. Please stop asking me to join your ranked warzone team on my sorc, if I am going to play ranked it will be on a class designed for ranked warzones. Good luck.

Please think about your posts, statements such as "only liars or cheats disagree with me" should IMHO, immediately be reported, deleted and the poster banned for a period of time.. They serve no purpose other than to cause harm. Word your posts simply as statements of what you have personally seen or experienced. If you have identified a cheat, there is a chance it was in fact a cheat, but there is also a chance that you were mistaken. My advice to you is to write down the names of those you consider are cheating and act in a manner that fits your own personal standards.

The people who were screaming for ranked warzones have either not remained playing or have not supported the ranked warzones to a workable degree. The people who ask for anything from now on need to actually support whatever they ask for.....

I do not like nerfs, either buff or introduce new counter skills. Making players drop classes to roll a viable/fun/easy pvp char reduces the number of people in the 50s pvp pool. Reducing the numbers of people in the pool makes people wait longer, causing some players to quit or roll alts, which reduces the numbers of people in the 50s pool. I agree unbalanced classes can sting but nerfs are worse. Nerfs; swtor style; The healer( perceived or real) nerfs sent some "natural healers" out of the game, and forced some "natural dpsers" into healing rolls in both PvE and PvP. If you think that was a good idea, please slap yourself several times. Then stop calling for nerfs. TLDR Version. Devs see that 65% of players enjoy playing Sage/sorc, rather than encourage other class BAM Nerf inc, large % of those players quit.......... um err $%^& um er " we now have the metrics right".......

None of the above. Love winning ( or die trying) at PvP in any format available, Love doing HMs because they have the word Hard in them. Happy to do every FP/raid and happy to pass on all rolls contested by anyone in the group in every game I have ever played, regardless of their real need for the gear. I Have gear only because it is collected while doing pvp, HMs, FPs etc. Totally disinterested in Gear as a motivator, play between 6-12 hours a day to pass the time. If I wanted/needed or was driven by gear, I would be in the game that is best designed to meet that addiction. I think I am in the lawn bowls league.

Most of the people who I personally consider to be great PvPers were "solo" UO PKers. I do think there are a number of people who are good at team or zerg pvp, but have not seen a great soloer since early days of EvE. TLDR version, yup I agree with you

I appreciate the OP's post. It is important that people who still play post suggestions that might keep players in the game. It is also important that the people who only ever post "against" any proposed addition or buff are treated with kindness, regardless of how much damage they do to the game forums they infest.

I would ask for cross server pvp queues first but have no issues once warzones were popping with lvl specific warzone queues. I would also suggest looking at ways for people to be able to continue playing their favorite character in pvp. Most I know who have left the game said they did so because of either a lack of raids for them to do or the realisation that their class was not wanted in lvl 50 PvP until it was far better geared or at all.

What is a healer doing solo guarding a node? Did everyone else run off and leave it alone?

At least with F2P you can watch and wait.

The OP is actually correct is as much as " in his/her opinion it does not matter". That is in fact their opinion. The assumption that there will always be worse players, is just an assumption. The people who say the OP is a total Dbag, are entitled to their opinion but for mine , people such as the op, intentionally losing their wr to BM do make warzones fun for some players. They are not usually on the OPs team but fun is fun and keeps the queue rolling. Good luck, see you in the cross server PvP pool when it arrives.

There are a few good posts to this thread BUT I think it is even more simple than the explanations given for the mass of QQ. Once upon a time saying mind blowingly stupid things got you a slap in the face. Now you can safely sprout any garbage from the safety of an anon avatar and claim your 2 seconds of fame/infamy. Until people are held responsible for their actions, including forum posts, those same posts can not be given much if any credibility at all. It is very likely future alien historians will attribute the downfall of human civilisation to the loss of the personal responsibility Gene.

I think all these games would be better if not released with a forum. Talk to the players in game and on the test server where you can talk to people actually playing the game.

Basically we get far more complaint or Nerf class X threads than we get people qeueing for warzones on asia-pac servers. I hereby invite all forums QQers to reroll over on asia-pacific and queue for a warzone. I/We do not care which class you decide to play as any warzone is better than none. The devs tried nerfs arouns 1.1-1.2 and only managed to remove a big chunk of our pve raid team organisers,the healers types were by nature also often organisers. I dread the results if a big chunk of DPS are driven away as well.

I bought the CE, I do not care who gets an item, I received the ce I paid for as described on the invoice. Please implement "votekick functionality" for the forums.

It is very hard to describe. 20-30 of my ex guild mates from LOTRO were playing swtor on US servers and convinced me to join when asia pac opened up. They have all left for a variety of reasons; ( as stated by them ) Loading screens, 3 prime time maintenances in a 5 day window at same time as TSW opened, lack of bug free pve challenge, greener pastures, dislike of the choice of gear grinds etc I love the stories, I enjoy the companions, I enjoy sub 50 and 50 pvp and I like the star wars environment, but the 40 mins on fleet between warzones is wearing me down. 4 hours of minecraft last night. good luck, I would love to be still enjoying this game in a years time but for me (asia pac ), I likely need cross server functionality to arrive for me to stay that long.

I find it saves a lot of energy if I wait until after something happens to panic. The whole wake up in the morning, Panic, run in circles screaming, then go to work was wearing me down.

we still have the same 10-15 on fleet on the asia pac servers, might be the olympics. On a more upbeat note, there is a good chance some of my old guild mates will return with f2p a few warzones a week would be fine for them.

15+ years playing games,I have yet to see a truly good pvper spend more than a tiny fragment of their time on forums unless they were writing player guides. If anyone actually cares about pvp, logoff the forums, login to the game, queue for pvp, encourage randoms. Good luck.
