So anyways we haven't had a Bastion Community Open World PvP Event in a while, so was gauging interest in having one Next Friday/Saturday November 22/23rd. Some ideas I had for the event would be a battle for Outlaw's Den perhaps as suggestion just since it's pretty easy for both factions to get to, and there is LOS objects etc. I would be more than open to other suggestions for a location though, and am an no way making myself the almighty leader of this, I know there are more prominent people on the server than me that would probably do a better job. The time this event would start is up for suggestion, I think somewhere around 9 P.M Pacific time or something perhaps even a bit later so the Oceanic players can participate if they want to. Earlier works too, this is all open to suggestion, I know you guys are all busy w/ your arena's etc, so if now won't work for a lot of people I can rehash the idea later on. Another Idea I had for the event was to add a 3rd faction mercenary's that would be outside of the Republic/Imperial Ops group that could act as a 3rd faction, that was just an idea for balancing so we can try and make it as even a fight as possible. Also so that PvE'ers could easily participate I wouldn't be opposed to a naked open world PvP event so expertise doesn't factor in, this is on the wall of crazy though because I sure as heck am not inspecting everyone so that idea is just out there not sure if it's plausible or would work at all, so prolly will be a geared event as that would be hard to police and be on the honor system entirely. Anyways any feedback or suggestions is welcome, I was thinking Next weekend on Friday /Saturday Nov. 22/23'rd would be an alright date before people head out on thanksgiving vacations etc., but if the community wants to do another date it's all up to you guys. Again want to clarify, I'm not the all mighty leader of this, would be great to see guild leaders and members of the community get as much involvement for this as possible. The last time Maniac <3 lead an event like this it was quite fun and would be nice to do it again if the community would like to. Also up to suggestions for everything from date/planet/location/etc. just throwing this out there to try and get some Open World PvP events going on the server. I have multiple alts and switch between toons quite often, so if you have any question or suggestion you want to get to me please send me PM on forums, will just be easiest as things can get easily lost in my mail/tells in game. Yes would not be surprised if the number of people doing hardcore 4v4 ranked arena's is less than 1% of the pvp population, the majority of PvP'ers in this game are casual, and e-peen doesn't matter to them. The majority of the PvP population does regular warzones, and just want to play w/ their friends. The space PvP will appeal more to the majority of PvP'ers in the game than arena's. TBH the sad but honest truth that most the "hardcore" pvp'ers left in this game need to face is that the majority that were like them left when ranked warzones were pulled w/ 1.2 and the subsequent 1 year + of Pre-Season 1 that happened after ranked warzones were finally implemented after server transfers. There's simply not a whole lot of population left that is interested in doing 4v4 ranked hardcore, and balancing around their infinitely greater skill level that the OP seams to think they have will only go to further ruin the PvP in this game.

Only thing I would fear with player housing is all the stuff that would be on the CM related to it, on a more positive note it could add another crafting profession that specialized in furniture and decorations would be pretty cool.
