  1. Can't say I'm interested in the Kaggath, so I'm down with sooner than later.
  2. Ok, first off I just want to say that the argument I'm about to provide is not in favor for Nihilus to be considered for the Most Powerful Sith list, but rather that if Nihilus cannot even be considered for that list, then Meetra Surik should not be on the Jedi list. (Sorry if I'm beating a dead horse here, I'm just surprised no one has given this argument and wanted to state it for myself). Both Nihilus and Surik were wounds in the force, and that is where their power stemmed from. The reason Surik was able to become so powerful was because she was feeding off the death that she was causing during her journey (in KotoR 2) much like Nihilus. (This was stated by the Jedi council when she gathered them on Dantooine, and I think Kreia may have mentioned it, too). Her wound was also the reason that she could learn new abilities so quickly during her journey, like force sight, moving meditation, etc. So sorry if this argument makes someone angry (Since beni said that Nihilus was out of the question) But I'm just curious as to why no one has mentioned this. Edit: Ok, moment of ignorance, I should have read of this thread before saying this, I meant it was surprising not to see this argument in the Most Powerful Sith thread. However my argument still stands. Surik gaining her powers was much like Nihilus since she fed off the death that she was causing. And where is it saifd that Nihilus would lose all his power if the wound closed up? Beni, if you think Meetra would still have her powers if her wound closed up, then Nihilus likely would too. If he was able to become a wound in the force, he would have likely been force sensitive even before he became a wound
  3. Have to agree here. Sorry, I'm pretty late to this thread, so I'm not starting a new argument, just saying. Since the Sith Emperor's story is still not done, and we probably have yet to see his full capabilities, I think Caedus should get the spot above him, but that could always change later.
  4. Yeah, Scourge actually became more powerful and was feared by most Dark Council members. Also, Malak is also fought aboard Saul's capital ship, where it is implied that he is too strong for you to fight. When are you planning on starting the new fight? I'm looking forward to it. (Meant for Aurbere to answer)
  5. Something that has made me wonder, does Nox constantly draw on the ghost's power? To me, it seems like when he/she is drawing on the ghost's power only when he enters the ritual state (like when his eyes glow purple and all that). If Nox is constantly drawing on their power, then why did Nox not have his mind destroyed by the ghosts until he confronted Thanaton, entering the ritual like state?
  6. Honestly I don't know why people put down Darth Nox so much for using force ghosts. He had to become powerful as quickly as possible so he could survive. Darth Thanaton was trying to kill him ever since Nox became a lord. I don't know about you, but I would do whatever I could to survive rather than be killed by an obviously more powerful, Dark Council level, sith lord. That being said I don't think that comparing the power between player characters is really that possible right now.
  7. Respectable opinion. I can certainly see why some people don't like Revan, and I can't say that I like how they just won't end his story. However I myself actually think Revan is a great character, I see his story as being tragic, all he's trying to do is do the right thing, but he keeps getting pushed down wherever he goes. But after all, opinions are opinions for a reason. People are different from each other, if we all thought the same then life would be boring.
  8. With Revan, his not being weakened on Dromund Kaas was more likely due to him being willing and able to draw on the Dark Side of the Force. With the Exile, I believe she was not targeted by his domination due to her not even getting the chance to fight him. I believe had Scourge not betrayed her, the Emperor would have most likely tried to dominate her mind. Also, regarding the possibility of Meetra's wound being closed up. Chris Avellone himself stated that (while acknowledging that this statement was non canon) he believed Nihilus to be the Exiles other half. This does make a good amount of sense, being that they were the only two to have received wounds from Malachor V, and they were like opposites yet similar at the same time. Thus, killing Nihilus could have aided in closing her wound. And of course we can't forget Malachor V, which became a wound in the force as well, when destroyed probably finished the job of closing the Exile's wound.
  9. Ok, so first off I say we put Master Fay underneath Jaina Solo at the very least. As for Meetra vs Satele, I think Meetra takes the edge on this one. Due to the theory we have going on on LadyKulvax's post about Meetra's significant weakness in the novel Revan (her powers being suppressed by Dromund Kaas), we can't use that as an example of her being at her best. So with her having all these abilities such as Battle Precognition, Moving Meditation, etc., and her being able to use sever force, I have to say she seems more impressive than Satele.
  10. The Exile definitely seemed weaker on Dromund Kaas. Revan calls upon the Darkside as well as the light side, so it's not so hard to believe that he wasn't weakened by it. Edit: Wait, no, I read that wrong. Revan resisted his Domination because he acheived a oneness in the force. And the Exile was never targeted by his domination.
  11. Honestly, This post should have been about telling people to stop comparing anyone to Sidious. By saying Vitiate directly, you targeted his fans, thus ending in yet another debate. People here shouldn't be so surprised this happened. If you guys want people to stop arguing about this, then you should not bring up an argument yourself.
  12. Ok, I'll agree to this. But I also think she should be placed after Jaina Solo and Kyp Durron.
  13. Definately agree with purple. My Sorcerer uses a purple lightsaber, and that makes me very, very happy
  14. I'm not sure if I remember quite correctly, but didn't Orgus Din's ghost place a shield around his mind?
  15. I don't think that Fay was exceptionally powerful, rather she was more skillful in certain aspects of things. Her living as long as she did could be attributed to her most likely being Sephi, whom could live up to 400 years old (This is stated by Leland Chee, who said that anyone with pointed ears was either Sephi or closely related to Sephi). Her being able to hurl objects is nothing we haven't seen before. Wiping the thoughts away from Ventress is more likely skill than power. If anything her most impressive feat was being able to transfer her power to other people. Also, her being able to end wars was due to her flooding peace and love into the hearts of those who had hatred. Master Fay was definately a great Jedi, but shouldn't be that high up on a Most Powerful Jedi list.
  16. I'm pretty sure in the book Revan, He said he recalled her being a powerful Jedi. Never said she was more powerful than himself.
  17. Yeah, it didn't seem to affect him in the slightest. Though that could be due to the same reason he was able to resist the Emperor's mind domination.
  18. How do i get to the battlezone exactly? Edit: Nevermind, I found it. Ridiculous that either of those guys is in this. Plaguis will probably just roflstomp everybody else.
  19. I suppose so. I have not much more to say for Revan, as you have already explained most of it. One thing I can add is that the Sith Emperor had to have his full attention on Revan while they were fighting. And as for Saba vs an Avatar of Abeloth, all I could find on that is that Saba lured her out of the Temple's security system and bit her head off. Don't know what to make of that.
  20. I know I'm not the first one to say this, but I believe Vitiate should be taken out. We simply do not know enough about him.
  21. I'm not sure I agree with anyone here that Revan achieved a oneness with the force. It's not described in the book as being like anyone else's oneness. Instead, I think what Revan did was an attack of pure force energy. An attack, simply that. However still impressive being that he is the only character that I have heard of using such an attack. Also, I vote Revan for number 8
  22. Regarding the original question in this post, here's reasons why I think the Exile was not as strong as she was in the book as opposed to the game. First off, I agree that her ability to call on the light side of the force on Dromund Kass was hindered. (I don't know why people are putting Nathema in here, as it was absent in the force, which would severely weaken anyone who relied on the force). Meetra grew more powerful as she formed bonds with others, and due to her being a wound in the force her bonds were not like normal bonds which strengthened both parties. Instead, she leached power from those she bonded with, and when she was on Dromund Kass it's likely she could not feel the bonds she had created with all her companions. Also it should be noted that she wasn't really super powerful in the game either. In order to beat Nihilus (who was handicapped by exhausting himself trying to drain the Exile) she needed the help of both Visas and Mandalore, and it was still stated that he was overpowering them. So Visas had to sever her bond with Nihilus in order to weaken him so he could be defeated. In order to beat Sion she had to use Dun Moch. As for Traya, I'm not so sure Traya wanted to kill the Exile, so we can't be sure that Meetra was more powerful than her. Also, not sure about this, but it's possible that due to Meetra having a bond with Traya, it would have weakened Traya due to the nature of her bonds making it so she leeches power from those she has them with. And as for people saying Drew is incompetent, yes I agree it's stupid he didn't research the Exile at all, but after all he is a great author, and that's the only thing he has done that annoyed me. He should be given more respect.
  23. I only started disliking Darth Sidious when he was given ridiculous powers. Otherwise he was pretty cool
  24. Drew Karpyshyn - Kotor, Swtor, Revan, and of course the DARTH BANE TRILOGY!!!! (and soon Annihilation, hopefully that will be very good, too)
