  1. Marr interests me greatly. I feel he is hiding something. Zash, I think she was actually trying to empower Darth Nox. Her other two apprentices said she had a vision of Nox achieving great power, so its possible that when she fought to take over his body, It was test similar to Bane vs Zannah
  2. I think Yoda should be number 2. I didn't read the novel, but episode 3 makes it seem like Sideous was trying to avoid enging in lightsaber dueling with Yoda. I feel like that's because Yoda was beating him when they first started their battle.
  3. Bane is fast. He could evade all of zannah's attacks despite being unarmed and poisoned, and even during their final confrontation, Zannah noted that Bane was faster than she ever could have imagined. The difference between bane and zannah in power is very small, as well as the difference between bane and kreia in power is also very small. Considering Zannah had a very hard time holding bane back, its safe to assume traya would also have a hard time holding him back. Bane is too fast and too strong, his willpower and resolve too high, and his intelligent, tactical, and combat knowledgeable mind too great for Traya to simply hold him back and overpower him. He is the deadliest opponent she will have ever faced, and he will kill her. Trust me my dear boy, Bane will be the death of Traya. That old hag will finally get what she deserves. (That last line was a joke) Also note that when Traya avoided all the exile's apprentices moves, she was in a dark side nexus, improving her speedand diminishing theirs. They also only fought her one at a time.
  4. I think Bane's alter abilities are greater than traya's, and his sense is pretty close to hers.
  5. I'm not sure if armor is allowed. Doesn't matter though, Bane should still be in the top 10 duelists.
  6. Well written, but you give Traya too much speed here. She is not that fast. I'd also like to add really quickly that Bane always surveys his surroundings and will try and back his enemies into a corner to give himself the advantage
  7. Traya hasnt shown as much ability in sorcery as zannah has, and I wouldnt say zannah made short work of bane. He seriously nearly killed her before her tendrils destroyed his body. These sith didnt make use of the same techniques as Vitiate at all.
  8. Shien is meant more for opponents with blasters, right? Its like soresu but they direct the attack back at their enemy, I believe.
  9. Actually Bane's style became better after he lost the armor.
  10. Woah, I wasn't even thinking of that. He would destroy the Trayus Academy
  11. The exile did not take on the entire Trayus Acedemy at once, and none of those sith were very powerful. Bane propably could do it. With ease. I still don't think Traya is more powerful than Bane. I have seen nothing that proves this.
  12. Here's my final argument: Really I can see only two ways Traya could beat Bane. 1. The way Beni explained, how Traya would hold Bane back and use force drain. However, Bane is fully capable of changing tactics, I don't think he will fall for the same tricks twice. I could see him using a well placed force push to stagger Traya, allowing him to close the gap between them. And if she uses her lightsabers telekinetically, I'm surr bane could defend against them while building up power of his own, allowing him to unleash a powerful force wave at Traya. Traya will most likely be able to throw a force sheild up, but the palace around her could collapse, killing her. 2. Traya makes use of her force concealment to run away and form a battle plan. But with Traya gone, there is nothing to stop Bane from collapsing the entire palace to crush Traya. I see this fight being similar to Bane vs Zannah, though Traya is less skilled in lightsaber combat than zannah, she is more powerful than her, so it could give her the advantage. However, Traya has no trump card to defeat Bane (like dark side tendrils). Also lets not forget that Bane is good at evading attacks aswell, as he was able to evade the tendrils and almost kill zannah. I feel Traya is getting too much credit, she couldn't defeat the exile, and I know for sure that Bane is more powerful and skilled than the exile.
  13. Bane is likely faster than Traya, so I don't see that whole first argument working. Secondly I doubt Traya can control 3 lightsabers to a high degree while building up a force attack. She's not that powerful or skilled. Bane is also the best duelist she will have ever faced, so I doubt she will be able to evade his attacks as easily
  14. Perhaps. I think how Traya can effect his mind should be our next argument. I'll be busy for a couple hours, but I'll post my view on this when I get the chance.
  15. Bane has very strong willpower, Traya wont be able to just simply confuse him.
  16. 2. Bane's mind is strong, a quick mental jab would not stun him very well. 3. All good 4. If she wants to enter meditation, she will have to get away. Nonetheless I still think Bane could handle those lightsabers easily. 5. Propably true. For the last time, Bane is not stupid. He won't fall easily for mind tricks. 6. Can Traya spam force attacks too quickly for Bane to advance? No, and I'm sure he could ground her lightning on his saber.
  17. That's kind of what I was thinking. At most, it propably wouldn't take him more than 1 ~ 1.5 seconds to gather the energy required to collapse the doorway. In fact, probably a lot less then that. He could probably collapse the doorway near instantaneously.
  18. He certainly can. "Bane replied, hurling out the wave of force energy he had been gathering during the Blademaster's speach. There was nothing subtle about Bane's attack: the massive shockwave shook the very foundations of the great Rakatan Temple. The concussive blast had enough power to shatter every bone in Ka'sim's body and pulverize his flesh into a mass of pulpy liquid. But at the last possible instant he threw up a shield to protect himself from the attack. Unfortunately, he couldn't shield the Temple around him. The walls exploded into great chunks of rubble. The archway collapsed in a shower of stone, burying Ka'sim beneath tons of rock anf mortar. A second later the rest of the roof caved in, drowning out the Twi'lek's dying screams with a deafening rumble." - Bane killing Blademaster Ka'sim by destroying the Rakatan Temple on Lehon. Page 294, Darth Bane: Path of Destruction The speech took about 10 seconds, for anyone who wants to know how long Bane was building his power up. Considering he has become more powerful since then, it could probably take less time to gather up energy for him now.
