oh god why? given the amount of movement and number of skills keyboard and mouse will be far superior. additionally you will get very very poor performance on a console given the fixed performance and static refresh rates (30hz). this game will never get ported over to console its just far to complex and processor intensive to ever run on a device as insignificant as a console.

rakghoul event can and does interfere with your play, thus there is a vaccine to prevent a player from being affected to the point where they can not play. snowballs do nothing. they are basically sparkle powder where all it does is give your char some visual effect that wears off in something like 30 seconds anyway. former affects game play, the latter does not. If someone really cannot handle a bit of sparkle glow around their char I wonder how they handle all the graphical buffs in this game? it happens every event, during rakghoul people complain about infections, during life day its snowballs. It just gets old after awhile when people get offended over something very very trivial.

they are not doing anything TOO you. They are throwing a digital set of pixels that put a digital effect on your char. Its one thing if they are talking to you , or standing around gesturing to you, or like rakghoul exploding around you causing you to be come infected but with life day you simply 'sparkle". Thats it. it doesn't effect your char in any meaningful or significant way and should not disrupt your char at all. It would be one thing if you were forced to cleanse something but you don't you simply stand there and do nothing and nothing is what exactly happens. If this truly upsets your delicate feelings, perhaps stay off line during the event.

if you started KoTFE story, yes, all your companions are now gone, if you can't summon them via the alliance tab they wont show up as decorations. you may need to summon/unsummon them again to get it to work if you can summon them at all.

you may not call it spam, but what you are doing probably borderline on spamming chat. typing the same thing, or typing something too fast, too often can get you. Also people can report it as spam and get you squelched. without knowing what you are typing, or how fast, its hard to tell you what is going on. for instance if you were typing "beware the rakghouls" every few seconds or even twice a minute or so as some kind of "herald" probably get you blocked or reported. people don't' see you as an RP but rather an annoyance. If you RP probably best kept in Guild or within a special channel. Definitely not in general.

your right i have no idea how WoW works. But what I DO know is that software can never predict what will happen in the future, EVER. IF it did, we wouldn't be writing it to do timers for pve events thats for sure. For pvp where role doesn't matter, sure MAYBE it can give an average wait time. For PVE, it will never be accurate. At BEST it would be something like: Previous wait time: XXXX Current wait time: YYYY *you have been in queue for YYYY minutes A better measure would be you are X out of N DPS in queue at least thats a tangible and meaningful number and you can see it drop as players pop in/out. time, meaningless it can't be predicted and at best is a measure of previous performance which in no way shape or form predicts future events. previous wait times are 5 minutes....so you spend 10 hours and never get a pop, is the timer bad? previous wait times are an hour, you pop in 5 minutes, bad timer?

and how exactly will they predict if and WHEN a tank (or two tanks for that matter) will queue? IT can only tell past time and cannot predict how long it will take. It could be 5 minutes, could be 10 hours it would be impossible to know. which is why it isn't in there, and shouldn't be in there.

buy orange gear shells fill with planet/level appropriate armorings/mods/enhancements as you level and see fit (purchase from vendor on fleet). once you hit 65, your "gear" is purchased via the crystals you get from various levels of content (flashpoints, ops, quests etc) harder content will get you higher level of crystals used to purchase higher level of gear. 208 rated gear will be sufficient fro heroic flashpoints and storymode operations. Those will grant drops and crystals used to upgrade to the next higher gear which is used to run the next level of content (Hardmode). Hardmode gear will drop level appropriate crystals and gear that can be used to upgrade to the next level "best in slot" which you get from running Nightmare operations and the hardest content in game. If you are only looking to do solo content and group finder, 208 gear will drop like candy. you can get 216 from crystals and operations as necessary until fully 216 at which point you can either try HM operations for optimized gear tokens or just keep the vendor stuff and be just fine for what level you are doing.

If you are looking for a "deal" the amazon bundles come with subscription time and CC as well as unique pet for less than what the subscription alone would cost you. so basically cheap subscription, plus 2400 free CC on top of the CC you would get for being a sub during that stretch. At this point it might be better wait until chapter 10 comes out in Feb unless you buy a bundle for the duration (3 months). additionally subs during Dec/Jan/Feb will get additional rewards once chapter X releases. if you enjoy the game, sub, if you enjoy playing a few days a week, stay subbed.

each pack is a unique "roll" and a unique chance to get an item. Opening 1000 packs doesn't mean you will get one, it just means you have 1000 chances. to use your dice analogy. I roll a dice 1000 times, does not mean I will roll a 6, just gives me 1000 tries to roll a 6. Odds of it NOT occurring (not rolling a 6) are (5/6)^1000 a VERY small number, but also not ZERO meaning it CAN happen. every instance of a pack has a set of items, of those items there is a chance it might be rare. The odds of a rare in any pack is fixed, opening more packs does not make you more likely to get one unless you open a very large number of packs to make that number very very small.

well mostly because mounts are treated as "skills" which is why they don't take up any space. thus they are not modifiable in any sense which is why they give us reskins to give people other opportunities for color combinations they may like over others.

and then hit level 45 and immediately get the quest to go to VOSS and have pretty much the entire dialogue of the entire planet make no sense...no thanks. Its one thing to have a single instance (chiss asking what a chiss is on HOTH) but to have an entire planet not make any sense is horrible idea.
