  1. I have to say. I don't like it but not because of the changes. I now realize how many more people don't get affected by it. If I knock back a group of five it seems there is always at least two who don't get hit, sometimes a whole group won't be effected. I didn't notice this as much before. Now I see the flaws of this ability more, and in that I can expect less from it. But I do see some advantages of this. It's more focused like they intended, if more people are going to be happy and less annoyed I will settle just like with the stuns. But I am def more squishy now. We have this nerf along with the fact that we can't stun those using force lightening or ranged weapons. It's tough on the battle field.
  2. Hmm. I like small planets. I hate walking so much, getting lost, waiting for friends. My perfect planet is one where the "size" is based on how many events there are, people it contains, or secrets there are to find. Not by the actual size. If they give us a huge planet with nothing to do on it but a couple of new missions, and no one is around to group up with... that would suck a lot more for me. Isn't quality better than quantity? But to each his own.
  3. Hmmm. I miss my stuns. I can no longer protect my self from those with Force Lightening or from long distance attackers. I am a Survivor Shadow and I try to stay alive to help the team. Now I'm a Force Lightening magnet. As far as stuns with the 1.4 update they changed the distance too. I see stun's happening a lot less since 1.4 so you should be happy. I don't think I have seen one person get stunned over the fire in Huttball, and I have played....30 matches last week. This is because of the new distance limitations. As far as "stun lock" that is an extended stun that has a lot more limitations that a regular stun. And it shouldn't be happening very often. If it is you just got very unlucky. It's possible to get bombarded with this, but they are really trying hard. I can only do mine while stealthed, and to only 1 person at a time. Damage will break it. Lastly, and most importantly. Don't confuse "stuns" or "stun lock" with a "roll". There were many times this week where I performed a couple of attacks and nothing happened...Why? Well it was a little bit of lag mixed with 6 other players who hit their buttons before me...it seemed like I was stunned and couldn't do anything but honestly they just needed to finish executing their moves...which resulted in my death...we were all waiting for lag to finish up and kill me. Try another class, stun has never annoyed me. I have ways to prevent it.
  4. To be more specific yes my Crit Multiplier is 58%. But it doesn't matter if your a Survivor Shadow you might as well cancel your subscription. It's not worth it in any way at all.
  5. Yes this is true. Don't use tank set. I might cancel my subscription because of it. Especially now with the new "nerfs" tank shadow tanks are horrible. You have to re learn how to play all together, depending on your style. But you can no longer stun someone if you have three people using force lightening, or ranged attacks, and you can no longer protect yourself if you are surrounded by enemies in any WZ. It's my job to survive, and to protect the team and now I die as fast as everyone else making my toon pointless. I'm lucky to get 90,000 damage and I'm full war-hero. Squishiest I have ever been. Bio Ware makes no effort to help Jedi Shadows, maybe this was an accident but maybe not. They seem like they want WZ's to end quicker, and we keep the match lengthier. Well they will lose subscriptions because of it, I hear people complain about Survivor Shadows all the time. I would love to hear them explain how a Shadow is useful in pug. I used to be, or at least I did o.k. Now it's absolutely horrible. Maybe if I change my play style around it will be for the better, but I have always struggled with being a good player, and I try very hard. In addition many contenders hate you, and make fun of you. Bio Ware should eliminate Survivor Gear altogether or give us the same amount of protection that a Guardian can get. I never knew I would be a pug player, I had no idea how the game worked when I started but I like it better that way. Guilds take forever and can be annoying. Though I might join one in the future, I will always play pug. Don't be a Survivor Shadow. **And btw power is a waste, willpower mods will give u endurance which will give u health which will give u more healing (2% of health...harnessed shadows). That's about the eqiv or more than you will get out of defense. In addition you automatically get more willpower points, and less power points with the mods. Do a test with both augs, you will see.
  6. Wow, thank you very much everyone. Finally answers it for me.
  7. You should do Black Hole (Corellia) and Ilum. I only do WZ's too but I tried these for the first time the other day and they are pretty fun, they contain quick dailies just like with WZ's and they have lots of people playing at the same time. First time I've seen anything like this in PvE in this game, beside world events, and when the game first came out playing with lots of people on my home planet. Def the coolest part of PvE for me so far besides the Class Story. Might even be cooler than the story.
  8. I like just about everything. Good job BW. The only thing I didn't like really is the stun from 10. I feel like it's almost not worth it. I thought the stun system was great. I thought it just created more of a challenge in games like Huttball where you couldn't walk through fire with ball etc. I mean why not at least 15? That made it fun in a lot of ways. I also miss the jumping animation in FW (but FW it's self is fine)..that's not as bad as stun. Overall though, the update is great, if nerfing stun is going to make people happy than that's cool with me, the more WZ players the better. There are some minor glitches (hide head slot, whisper from chat, and mail) but hey no big deal, I'd rather have the update now and have the glitches fixed and have to wait longer. Good job Bio Ware! * I'm fine with waiting for a new WZ cause I have to learn how to use my character differently again anyway with all the changes to it and to the current WZ maps.

    PvP reusables?

Just read this same thing today in game...went to google...now I'm here.... maybe they just mean reg WZ med packs...but they aren't rare...?
  10. But this is what makes the game interesting, there is a possibility..and I have seen it happen. That's what makes it exciting sometimes! That's part of the nuances that make a WZ fun. The problem is when similar losses happen over and over and over and over again...because your playing the same amazing guild vs pug. That's when it's a problem. The WZ leaving problem can be solved partially by fixing the premade imbalance, pug vs guild problem. btw. I'm def in support of a reward for staying the whole length of the match!!
  11. Not a bad idea, but this has been done in other games and some people are really opposed to it. At least that's what I hear. I would love to try this out, but if BW just changed everything to a ranking system out of nowhere it could bean "epic fail". Plus they would have to go back and rank us, I have heard that mentioned to. For all our hard work. Again if they ever do something like this, I hope it's just once a week to start so we can test it. But I'm up for it!
  12. Don't they play the game? I had people tell me in game that they were a Bio Ware employees (with no strings attached lol...no they didn't ask for my password!) and people complain about this at least a couple times a day in chat...and what there are only a couple servers left....they would have to be aware. But yeah they could easily ignored it, I mean with everything else they have going on it may have never been brought up at a meeting. I did report a couple players doing this but they just sent me a standard we are "fixing the legacy name " problem email. Lol.
  13. The only thing I did that was very confusing is the diagonal lines, besides that it makes sense. It doesn't happen all at once, these are just possibilities. The top two circles are same faction, bottom two same faction. Each line represents one side cheating with the other; talking to them, feeding info, or just predetermining the fight. That's not counting bots or hacks. Maybe cheating isn't as common as some of us think, but it does happen, and the point of my chart was to show how unreliable, and untrustworthy a match can be. It's supposed to be chaotic but I admit it could be better.
  14. Brass eye is great! lol. I really liked episode 1 with the animals.
  15. I personally feel like what ever they introduce to make things more fair, should be done as purely a test, or maybe as a weekly event. It would be cool to have a universal day, time, hour for pug vs pug only (no grouping or guilds) or for just guilds, or just ranked. Once a week, or at a certain time of the day. It would at least make things clearer so we could go from there.
  16. I was actually going to mention this and didn't want to be too confusing, but since you brought it up. I had seen a pict online where willpower gave bonus healing...someone had a cursor over healing bonus and willpower was there...in game it doesn't do that for me, I checked. I'm not a sage, I'm a tank. Is that why? And let me get this straight, your saying tele-throw won't benefit from the healing that power gives? I've noticed a vast improvement recently, I figured it was from my power augs.
  17. it's not necessarily cheating but it's unfair to pugs who get sucked in, especially in ranked. and come on? Bio Ware themselves admitted people cheat with multiple accounts on multiple computers, and I have friends who use bots to heal them all the time....
  18. I'm a non dps, survivor gear (pvp) based shadow tank. What about healing bonus? I was told a couple times, in game, that power is better and I could see why in my stats. After double checking it made sense. But I just saw a pict online that shows willpower gives healing too (bonus healing stat). But than I checked in game and I don't see in my stat info where willpower gives healing like in the pictures I saw online. Power does though. In addition after using Mr. Robot to build my character it seems willpower is much better for crit chance of both force and melee damage. I'm going for healing to get more out of my telethrow/ force lightening. I want to make sure I'm not wasting my time. Another reason I'm asking is because I have heard Mr. Robot isn't 100% accurate. Can someone verify before I go waste more time and money?
  19. Doesn't it effect the healing from Tele Throw? I see Assasins get more healing from Force Lightening than I ever could in a WZ. I figured they were DPS and have more power augs (well I once thought this game more crit) which is giving them a more healing. This seems to be their single most important ability, and I figured healing was 1/2 the reason. Anyway....healing>tele throw> one of most used abilities.
  20. Wow how do u get 400,000+ damage? I still don't get that. I'm not DPS. I guess that's why. I'm a full war hero survivor gear shadow with augs and I'm lucky to get 150,000 (very rare). I am also 31-0-10 and enjoy it. I can only talk from a PvP perspective. As far as FIB I have used that and slow time extensively. I personally now go with slow time but I miss FIB. I use slow time for two reasons over FIB. 1. DAMAGE; I don't have to waste the time to move my hand to the mouse (like w FIB I'm not a big mouse user), it's easier to spam, and I can hit 5 targets at once compared to 3 with FIB. Those things give me more damage, and I have confirmed this in my combat logs. Now maybe if you have more surge and crit it will be diff, you will have to double check. I'm pretty sure Slow Time can do about 30% more damage if u crit, does for me. Taunt...it lowers their defenses too. That's my primary objective. 2. SPEED, AND HUTTBALL; Slowing people down helps with preventing our own caps and with me "escaping", and when I am constantly left alone to deal with 8 people attacking only me, escaping is great. It also helps to slow opponents down in Huttball, where FIB does not contribute at all. ADVANTAGES OF FIB; Now with FIB you can prevent caps like nothing, there have been many times recently where I had the chance to prevent a cap but I wasn't close enough. The "capper" had resolve on so I couldn't pull and I couldn't use tele throw. Slow Time was ineffective here. Point is FIB will always help u prevent caps, if you can do 500k to 400k damage already I would def go for FIB unless your trying to be the best "damage doer" on your team, but lets be honest preventing a cap is much more important than a little bit more damage...unless your me struggling for it. lol. Plus if your worried about losing damage, remember you would have two more skill tree points...and can even take more. After that you can put them in something for damage. Also FIB will heal you. Go for FIB and use those extra 2-4 skill tree points for more force or more damage with project... than switch spec back to Slow Time in HUTTBALL. That;s my suggestion, but to each his own. For PvE you have to consider the "threat" with slow time brings.
  21. I am a Jedi Shadow tank. I am posting about augments, I have all survivor gear. My crit is around 50%. I hate to bring this topic up again, but I wanted to make sure the information I have learned would still hold true with the 1.4 updates coming out, also, I wanted to double check everything since I blew tons of time and money on power augs, which I might to change...well that's why I'm asking. I was told a couple times, in game, that power is better and I could see why in my stats. After double checking it made sense. But I just saw a pict online that shows willpower gives healing too (bonus healing stat)! But than I checked in game and I don't see in my stat info where willpower gives healing like in the pictures I saw online. In addition after using Mr. Robot to build my character it seems willpower is much better for crit chance of both force and melee damage. Another reason I'm asking is because I have heard Mr. Robot isn't 100% accurate. Can someone verify before I go waste more time and money? Will things stay the same? Am I on the mark with Willpower?
  22. No one had to "make me think" they were cheating. I have been told multiple times that they were, and asked to participate. I also have friends who cheat with bot healers, on GW and have had people tell me they do that on here. So it def happens. I have also read many times that the cheaters get on the blogs here and post threads about how it never happens. So lol. I don't even know if I can trust you. Obviously it happens, even Bio Ware admitted it in at least one way similar to what I was talking about.
