  1. It boggles my mind how poorly designed this event is. My new player friends are already saying they've seen enough and realized this game is not for them. I know everyone has a choice and an opinion some good and some not so much, I'm just relaying the reactions from the battlefield. The constant ganking at the energy core dropoff at the center preventing completion for two days straight and probably the entire event was frustrating to them. The fact that new people do not have multiple 50's to earn the reputation quickly to get "newcomer" status or above to get the "helix" components in abundance to get a legacy weapon is frustrating. PvP is fun, sure, but when a reward is given to those who are not "casual" players it seems they would rather look at other options. Just saying, the "Live Event" is not impressive or fun for many and I cannot help but ask once again, "How does something like this go live"? Do you test anything or get feedback beforehand or just create it, hope it works and do emergency patches?
  2. Oh, Wow, I didn't realize this unless I had read your post, wow, this event really is worthless to me in a big way lol. After SWTOR, I promise to never play another Bioware game again, pretty poor design and forethought by the devs. The event is not even fun, just a grind, gankfest but I was willing to do for a nice weapon and now I find out it can't even be gotten.....LOL
  3. Ahh ok, ty. Faction. Well lol, I'd rather just PvP everywhere but not have the dailies depend on that energy condensor but no problem I'll just skip it until I get the one thing I want then ignore Ilum altogether. PvP is the only reason I play SWTOR but the new Ilum thing still sucks just with a new facelift, wonder if they asked the people what they would have liked for a new PvP idea.
  4. Leave it to Bioware to make something worse when making "improvements" or "adjustments".
  5. Anyone else notice when trying to turn the energy condensers in for republicans it's almost not possible? The empire players have a larger population and are camped there 24/7. I am sure the great minds at Bioware wanted PvP on Ilum but it will be like the old warzone requirements pretty soon. Many people on one faction will become disgruntled because a reward takes three times as long to get than the opposite faction due to another oversight from Bioware.
  6. Lol, Commandos are last. Did Bioware break them?
  7. Wow.....Just wow. Says It all, in warzone just happened to me and usually in the 5000's. I'm sure now everyone is rolling that class....so let's hear the people run and defend them. How they were abused when children and deserve this advantage or how their class was neglected for 4 months and they are getting their turn at patch love? Wait....wait...I know, working as intended!!!.....please...devs....just please.
  8. What is wrong with you? You make no sense to me, am I on drugs?....Mommy?....is that you, where are you?
  9. Every evening I join as a "solo" participant in warzones and as are the most of my group. We are put against the highest rated guild premades over and over. Constantly stomped as a "solo" who is trying to enjoy the game. As the population dwindles you will have the "Elite" who stay and always PvP and that's cool but this is the exact same what happened in Warhammer and it became unbearable as one core group just made it unenjoyable because the designers never addressed the issue. I would rather wait 10 minutes for a "Pug" warzone than never win a single one against a premade as my group is a always a Pug with almost half as many being new people. It is a design issue, even if I had full warhero myself we are not a premade on ventrilo. Devs, most do not want to log into a game and pay to entertain 20 hardcore enthusiasts every night.
  10. Are you serious? The most blatant flaw in the game and the developers ignore it? A tank that does insane damage and the WHOLE team at EA turns a blind eye or is that out of touch that "Class Balance" is always going to be inadequate and incompetent patch after patch and the entire life of this game. I wonder if it's because they are afraid to lose the %30 of subscribers who pick the OP classes to play. My guild is aware of the OP Class and 1/3 rerolled Vanguards and faceroll their keyboards and get top damage in recruit gear..lol. Whatever, enjoy EA's gift to a certain class I suppose but I still believe it's incompetence.
  11. •Afterburners/Concussive Force: Rocket Punch/Stockstrike now immobilizes the target for 4 seconds instead of knocking it back. Damage caused after 2 seconds ends the effect. The knockback previously caused by this skill generated enough Resolve that it was actually detrimental to the Mercenary/Commando’s ability to further escape the attacker. The knockback was beneficial !! I used it to knock the attacker away who was then slowed and I backpeddaled while able to attack them. It is a valuable CC that is a primary tactic in 1 vs 1's. You are nerfing this ability because they are still near you and in 2 seconds they are attacking you again. We don't have force speed and a 2 second head start is a joke. DO YOU PLAY THE GAME AT ALL? Jesus you are truly clueless. I have leveled my commando and asked for no buffs or damage increase but you come along and as usual your "improvements" actually take away from what is working and add to what is not working. Fix the Resolve, don't nerf an ability.
  12. You're joking right? 2 out of 3 warzones are beneficial to your class and you're unhappy you cannot have an advantage in all 3? Just quit now. Because for a ranged class, Huttball for me is the only "convenient" warzone, so that is 1 out of 3. So, BW, make only huttball or I will quit.
  13. Honestly,' Not being sarcastic but the way Bioware implements "improvements" and the difficulty they already have of never fixing a bug properly, this will be impossible for them to code and make happen.
  14. Yeah, must admit, 1-49 PvP was the most fun I had in the game also.
