I thought that might have been the problem as well if I hadnt gotten a FP with my 40 DPs in less than 5 minutes earlier.

What have they gone and broken now? Ive been leveling a gaurdian tank the last few days. Right now Im up to level 25 and yesterday I was waiting for a FP for over an hour. Ok, its possible. Two days in a row though? Its been over an hour.

Agree 100%, but dont be surprised if it takes you a few tries to find a guild thats a good fit for you. Even in guilds it might take a while to find people willing to play the way you would like. This same advice goes for people without a handicap as well.

Ive just started playing again and made a new Gaurdian tank to relearn all th FP's. Just did my first run threw of Madalorian raiders and had a bit of a problem with Braxx. I remember before that every time he froze me my resolute was available and I could unfreeze myself right away. Braxx would immediatly stop hitting (or in most cases running towards) another player and fixate back on me. 2 Problems I ran into. First off my resolute has a much longer timer now and even though I wasnt able to use it I somehow unfroze. Second was that Braxx didnt return to me. I had to taunt him to get him back as even hitting him with high threat skills didnt do anything. Is my memory just wrong or have they changed this? I havent been able to find anything online about the changes so Im guessing they are from 3.0 Anyone have any advice on how to do this boss now? How was I able to move right after he froze me and why did I have to taunt him back.

The game itself is very good, if not the best Ive ever played. I cant say enough good things about the actual game itself. Bioware did a great job on it initially. The engine on the other hand is by far the worse Ive seen in a AAA mmo. What Im guessing all the bad hype is about is the f2p model they are using. Its more a try before you buy and seems very penny pinching to a lot of people. You either pay full price (SUB) or you get nickle and dimed to death to get a proper game. Also ZERO tech support unless you sub is going to make a lot of people fed up with the game and give it bad reviews. Even something as simple as allowing people access to these forums to get help from other players would go a long way towards easing these feelings. Even if you are a sub the tech support is the worse Ive seen. One other thing can is probably giving it bad reviews is the fact that even though its the 2nd or third best money maker for a AAA MMO theres very little put back into it.

With the new faster experience/leveling system the people like me, who enjoy questing and the stories are being short changed. I know this has been asked for before but its really time. We need a way to be able to stop exp gain so we dont outlevel the quests we enjoy.

Lots of tanks right now. Ive been working on a new guardian the last few days. Im up to lvl 22 and have done about 6 hammer station and 2 arthiss runs the last 2 days. Almost every time I had to wait an average of 30 minutes. Healers are the shortage right now. On a side note if any dps are reading this, most of you are shooting yourselves in the foot. Groups of mobs are dieing faster than my opening skills are coming off of cool down. Instead of waiting a few seconds, too often you just jump in and start shooting. At my lvl I have very few tools to grab large groups, expecially after you have engaged. healers get angy, I get frustrated, you get put on ignore ( im sure by some healers as well ). Hmmm I love the feature, your on ignore, group finder doesnt group us together again.

In case you havent noticed yet, you wont make money on crew skills in general. Almost all items that crafters can make sell at or below the amount you can get just selling the mats. There are a few exceptions to this but not many and most are top end items.

Just ran into a situation that seems very unfair to me. I qued as a tank for a FP, had 3 guys that were together join in. 2 where qued as dps and 1 qued as a healer. Healer says he isnt heals but they wanted to try and bull thier way threw as 3 dps. No way to kick the non healer as all 3 were together so I quit. Now I was the one wronged here but I still have a timer I have to wait for till I can que again. Is there anything I could have done to fix this so I didnt get the penalty?

While he prob was a bad tank, you might want to give tanks in general some leeway for the next few weaks. I have a 55 gaurdian and a 55 shadow tank and while I havent spent much time on the shadow the gaurdian has had his rotation screwed up royally. I find I spend more time watching my cast bar the last week than anything else. Might have been why the tank you had seemed to have tunnel vision.

I returned to SWtor a week ago and resubed. Now Im wishing I hadnt. The lag is making the game unplayable and I hate what they have done to the class skills. It takes hours to get a group going at 55 (Im hoping once the week is up and I can resume leveling this will not be too much of a problem), My Guardian tank's rotation is all messed up, used to be the rotation was good, everything lined up so the cd's ran out at the right time. Now Im waiting for cd's and sometimes have to hunt my cast bar for something to cast. Only thing good I can say is my Sage healer doesnt seem to be affected even though others complain they are. This rant isnt for you trolls to jump up and down on me, even theough Im sure you will. Im letting BW/EA know they have another (one of many it seems) unsatisfied customer.

Hi all, decided to come back and have another look at swtor. Been gone for about 8-9 months so a lot has changed. I want to get back into tanking with my shadow but Im a little confused about the changes. There doesnt seem to be anything at dulfy or noxxic about 3.0 tanking yet so Im wondering if the rotation has changed since thier 2.10 articles. Also are stats more or less the same? While looking at the new utility points Im pretty sure Ive gotten the right ones but if anyone can mention the ones that are most important just to make sure.

They arent needed as you level but for OP's most people will want you to have them. Personally if I was running an OP, the only way Id ignore you not having them is if we were doing story mode (beginners mode).

Id like to see quests only available to subscribers that reward mounts, pets or armor sets (multi quests for sets, reward 1 piece per quest chain). Make these quests long chains as well. This way its not something you can do in an afternoon but will prob take 10+ hours to finish. Everquest2 has some chains like these and they are very popular. The only problem is EA wont want people to get free mounts. They will want to sell them. SOE doesnt seem to have a problem with this and they also sell mounts.

Ive been leveling a trooper the last few weeks and have gotten to lvl 36. Im using orange modables and have them up to date in blues with no purples. Ive noticed I am taking way more damage since the patch but my dps is a lot higher. Silvers drop fairly fast and I use Treek as a tank companion also using blue armor/mods. I used to be able to just attack and have Treek jump in automatically. Cant do that now, I have to send Treek in first or I die fairly fast. Once the fight is over though Treek is normally half to 3/4 dead and my downtime is minimal as I just jump on my mount for a second and treek is back up to full health. It is a bit slower when Im indoors and cant mount up. All in all the combats are faster with minimum downtime. I just had to adjust my tactics a bit.

But keep on trying, if you explain beforehand that your new and want to learn a lot of people will allow you to come. Best thing you can do is go to http://dulfy.net/category/swtor/ and read up on the fights, tell the person running the ops that you have read and understand the fights. This could help you get into an op.

If your trying to make credit, dont bother crafting. Sell the mats instead. Too many people selling craftable items at or below the cost of the mats, Crafting is just a money sink.

I would like to propose something to help us deal with all the gold spammers out there. This wont in any way curb them just make it a tiny bit easier for us to deal with them. Right now if we get tired of them we have the option to report them for spam and/or put them on ignore. Two separate actions that can be short cut into one. If anyone that has been reported for spam would automatically be put in our ignore list it would help a little bit. Im sure theres going to be tons of trolls jumping on me and calling me lazy but this is the way its done in EQ2 and it actually helps.

You mean the button on the hidden page Ive only visited once over 2 years ago and never saw again? The one thats so easy to find I had to hunt for it for a few minutes after you mentioned it. Well blow me down, it is there. With no real documentation for this game they need to make that easier to find. Never thought of the ignore idea, thanks. It still doesnt alter my main point. Theres no reason I or anyone else should be offered the same group over and over again. Once I refused it the que should offer me the next group waiting. When I finally got a group I asked them how long they had been waiting and was told a while, even the tank waited for the group. How many other healers also couldnt get past this half finished group for the same reason?

I found out one reason why we are getting long waits using group finder. This morning (3:30am pst) I decided I wanted to do some FP's. Ok, I understand that at this time of day its possible to have a bit of a wait for a group. First thing I tried was my tank, after waiting half an hour with no group I figured there was a lack of healers and changed toons. I was offered a group right away but it was a group already in progress. This was something I wasnt interested in, I wanted to do a full run. This is my prerogative as a paying customer. I declined the group and put myself back into group finder only to be offered the same group all over again. Fifteen minutes later and group finder has offered me the same group 5 times. I can see why I wasnt getting any groups as a tank. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING!!! How many player hours are being wasted because of this ****ed up system? All the other people who are waiting for a group and not getting one just because a fail group wants another healer? As a paying customer this is unacceptable.
