The way a lot of mobs work a guardian tank gets stuned or knocked back before they can even do their 2nd attack, with fast pulls groups want resolute is always on cool down and rarely up when I need it (2 min cd). Ive hardly ever seen a dps that will wait that long before attacking. Most times when I pull Im immediately fighting for agro cause the dps wont wait. Do you honestly wait 5 seconds? Even a fast 5 count is only about 2 seconds. If so its something Ive never seen.

Hi guys, returning player just relearning the game with a new toon. Ive run into a situation twice now and Im the one that get penalized for it. This isnt a rant just looking for an answer. Whats happening is Im playing my Sith warrior as a tank and I enter a pug group. Both times the healer wants to dps and wont heal me ( Im assuming its a dps trying to cut the line). Both times Ive tried to vote them out of the group but the other players wont do it. Instead of constantly wiping from lack of heals I quit the group. For this I cant enter another group right away. I realize this isnt a big problem but it irks me that its caused by the action of other people. Any suggestions around this?

Ive been trying to learn how to tank this FP for a bit now and I'm having problems with the first boss Braxx. I play a guardian and at this level we have very poor aoe damage. I'm finding the whole fp to be challenging to learn to tank but this boss does something that takes the cake. With no notice that I can find ( went in with a lvl 50 to try and find anything, seems to be an instant cast) he jumps up, twirls around and stuns me. Then immediately runs off and attacks someone else. After the stun wears off I can taunt him back but its very hard to keep him ( stupid pugs have no clue they need to kill the dogs first even after I tell them), I keep losing him to a dps. Does anyone know of a way to avoid this stun or is there a tell that will let me see it coming and interrupt it?

I wish, tried this myself for the first time as Inq sorcerer with tank companion. I was stuned just as much if not more than my companion. Soon as my companion was stuned the mob turned on me and stuned me before I could do anything to clear it from companion.

Eq2 did the right thing, they give you 2 slots for gear. 1 is for appearance only (has no stats) and the other is gear that has stats. This way you can look how you want and still have the excitment of finding good gear fr drops.

Do you need to be Legacy lvl 40 to do this? I cant seem to find this option and Im below 40.

I just started a new toon and decided Id like to do things a bit faster so I picked up a mercenary contract and gave it to this toon. Im so impressed with the little fur ball Id like to get one for my main as well. The only way I can find to do this is if Im lvl 40 leg, which the contract did not need. Am I missing something or was this contract I picked up only good for 1 toon?

Hi all, just hit lvl 50 and getting close to finishing up my class story line. Not sure what to do next tho? How do I get ready for lvl 55 OP's? Im a Sith Inq Sorcerer (healer) and from what Ive been able to find out I need good equipment before starting OPs were as dps dont really. Ive read I should be doing dailies in Belsavis, Corellia and Illum but its unclear if that was for 55 or for when the cap was 50. Theres also hard modes, and lvl 50 OP's but again cant find a clear indication if I need to do them still or not. If someone can let me know what I need to do and in what order to progress to being geared to do lvl 55 OP's Id appreciate it.

Every time I open my cargo hold the items inside are very dark. So dark it can sometimes be hard to tell if 2 items are the same and need to be stacked, or if I want to put more items in I cant tell if theres already a partial stack of them. If I move a stack from 1 spot to another it becomes lighter and easy to tell what the stack is. Moving everything in my hold just to see what it is, is tiresome and time consuming. Is there any way to make all the items in my hold lighten up at once?

Are you sure he didnt say Alacrity? Its important for healers as it lessons the gcd as well as spells cast time and channeling.

Ive just started playing the game again ( Played first 3 months at launch ) and Im really surprised at people. Ive been browsing the gtn to see if I can make any credits crafting and cant believe the prices Im seeing. Im repeatedly finding that many of the items I can make to sell, are being sold for less than the cost of making it. To often by a significant amount, even when theirs is the only ones on the market. Im being very careful of what I make to sell, if I just make something without looking, I find I could have made more selling the rares. Dont people pay attention to what they sell items for compared to the cost?

HI everyone, I just started playing again and Im looking for a good guild to join. As my working hours are a bit off Ive always looked for Australian guilds as they normally play at the same time as I do ( 1am pst - 5am pst) and have found the people to be great Im looking for a large guild that does OP's as well as being very active in FP's. Right now I have a Jedi Sage at lvl 20, heals and tanking is what I normally enjoy in any MMO Ive played. Im generally a very active player and play an hour or so each day and more on my days off. Please send a reply in game to Chayney as I dont check forums very often.

Im sure Im going to get flamed for this but why are some people selling items they made ( not items they needed to make for skill ups) for less then they could have gotten for the mats if sold separately? I know craftings not the best way to make money in this game but I keep on trying because Ive always enjoyed it on any mmo I play. Its very hard to sell something at a reasonable profit when people sell too low. To get a blue recipe takes time and money, depending on your luck a lot of money. I just dont understand why someone would go to this expense, then craft something purely to sell and price it lower then its cost to make (without taking into consideration the cost of learning the recipe). before anyone gets in an uproar Im not one of those people who take the cost and triples the price or more. Ive seen that and wonder how they can sell them as well. <shrugs>

It had to be that specific mission thats broken. I ignored the rest of it and tried to just destroy turrets. I saw them get destroyed yet they werent counted. I then tried a different mission and had no trouble destroying turrets and getting the bonus for it. Just another example of this broken game being frustrating I had such high hopes for this game, got another 2 months left before my game time card runs out. Unless something major happens soon I dont think Im going to renew.

Im trying to learn how to do space missions and having a problem with turrets. Ive been doing the same mission repeatedly (Jambiin escort Imp side) and I can target 3-4 turrets at a time but when I fire nothing seems to happen. At best I destroy half of the ones I had targeted and to often none at all. The ships go by so fast most times,I can target but Im past it before I can fire. Is this causing my problems? You have to fire before passing the ship? Ive upgraded my ship as best I can but there doesnt seem to be any place to add more power to the torpedoes.

Theres a few things I really wish they'd change about the way khem works: 1: It would be very good if he would move out of aoe's automatically. Some fights your spending the whole time micro managing him to do this and its a pain. 2: His aoes shouldnt wake up a cc'd target or involve a non combatant. Drawing in yellow mobs that are standing right next to the mobs you have to fight can make a hard fight impossible.

Where do I go to find quests on Tatooine? Ive done all the ones I can find along with most of the bonus quests and only gotten 3 levels out of the planet. Id rather not move on without getting to the min level for Alderon. Ive tried doing the bonus quest but Ive died 4 times already trying to do that timed quest bloodgourge. Only time I made it into the cave I died from just entering it even though I had 6 minutes left on the timer

Couple of things Id like to add, someone else mentioned putting Khems bar up. One of the best suggestions as then you can see which of his skills are selected. Ive noticed that sometimes a skill will un-select itself. Either that or new ones dont auto select. When you look at this bar you will notice Khem has some skill with a little square on them, or a slot. The 2 with a slot are your stances. You want the stance thats called shadowkiller, this is your tanking stance. Its selected when that bar is a light blue color. Also make sure all the other skills have the little square filled green. Your gear doesnt have to be great at lvl 20 but it should have the right stats on it. All your gear needs to have endurance and will power on it. All Khems gear needs to have endurance and strength. None of you need cunning or aim. Nothing wrong with your rotation but there is a few suggestions I'll make. First off using crushing darkness is a waste of time on anything but strong or better targets, also on strong or better you should always shield Khem as he is running in. As far as orange items go they arent really needed at this level but if you want them you can get a full set from ( if I remember right ) the social vendor on Drummund Kaas. What I did was buy all of the pieces I could get, made cybertech my skill and made my own Armoring and mods, then used my planetary commendations to buy the enhancements.

As I get higher in level Im finding any time I zone its taking longer and longer. Also Im on Alderon right now and a lot of the time while I running around in the open with few or no players near me the hard drive just keeps chugging along slowing down the game and drawing graphics in chunks. A couple of times Ive also had a cut screen start only to have the hard drive start reading/writing for a long time and the sound just making a screaming noise at me while the cut screen pauses when its not supposed to. These are things that have just recently started even tho Ive been playing over a month now.

I can confirm it does. I have a rebel trooper with the skill at around 300 and I almost always have to do another type of mission before I get a metal mission. I have recently made a sith inq with the skill, at around 300 I have been constantly getting a mission every time. With the inq if I run 2 companions at once I then have to do something else before I see another metal but if I just run 1 companion at a time I always have a metal mission up.

Something doesnt add up, your stuck at lvl 1 but it takes 35 minutes to do a mission? Im glad to hear its working for you now but it only takes 3-6 minutes to do a level 1 mission.

Found out what the problem is, seems using the alt key for key binding produces the beep.

Is there any way to get rid of that beep sound that plays when you use a key binding that you set up? Cant find anything in the set up options.
