You'd be amazed how adept Bioware is at ignoring a large group of people. When they closed the Off Topic forums, there were thousands of posts spanning multiple closed/re-opened threads of people simply asking WHY. Not a single peep out of Bioware.

To expand on the announced plans for endgame itemization in 1.2, what plans are there for crafters such as Arms/Armor/Synthweave to make them more appealing throughout the leveling process? Currently, there seems to be less incentive for these trades due to the ease in which one can acquire orange gear and mods from levels 1-49.

Nope, It's definitely not exclusive to WoW. FFXI has had enrage timers for quite some time. Their reasoning for adding them was different though.

Truth. Probably should be pointed out that this rule is multiplied by 500 when you have an MMO forum in the equation. People come to MMO forums to complain. Kinda makes me wish a lot of the time there wasn't an official forum.

Nah I've been saying they've been a bit overzealous on the moderation for years. I do seem to remember it being much worse though before retail release/massive beta invites.

They're removing posts that start flame wars, continue said flame wars or just break the forum rules that you and I all agree to when we joined here. Hell, I put a toe over the line more than occasionally, and the few times I've been slapped on the wrist I knew I had it coming. In other words, PjPablo, they're trimming the idiocy due to people's lack of self control/restraint or any sense of polite social interaction.

Oh I meant the content of the threads. Not the moderation. Yeah, it'd be a real zoo without the moderators, no doubt.

Not only that, but the Bioware "police" don't really have anything to do with answering anything game related. They are forum moderators who patrol the forums. They're not programmers, designers, or developers. Their only function is to enforce the forum rules. But on that note, oh my God yes. These forums have taken a MAJOR left turn since the game released.

People charge that because there's little to no crafter competition. That, and the ridiculously small amount of money sinks there are at 50, which make the economy very top heavy. If there were more reason for crafters to get out there and craft, there would be more items for sale. More items means lower prices. This issue solves itself. All we need as an improved system from Bioware.

About to upgrade my HDD and can't seem to find where the patch files are. Has anyone done this, outside of Beta? I managed to find them during then, but not now somehow
