  1. That's what annoyed me when they changed it because it really was NOT hard whatsoever. I did it on 11 people in various ways, healer, dps, tank and all except my agent, had rank 1 Temple and it still was NOT hard. It was NOT the flashpoint, it was the unskilled players who couldn't pass it. I'm not saying it was a walk in the park, it did have a lot of mobs scattered around, but it was more time consuming then hard. If people thought Copero before the nerf was hard, they would NOT have survived how SWTOR was in 1.0-1.1, that was a bit more difficult, not really hard, but difficult.
  2. If you romanced Quinn and side with the Republic, he says he will leave the Empire and join you, whether you're in the Republic now or the Alliance or whatever. And this is Quinn we're speaking of. He is/was a hard core Imperial so him telling you he'll leave the Empire to remain at your side basically as your husband is deep devotion to you.
  3. Yeah, killing Quinn after the fact, I find is just petty and stupid. Players can if they want, but it doesn't make it right. That's like forgiving your friend for stepping on your toe and then 10 years later, punching him/her in the face for doing so. I'm very emotional and protective of the companions, especially when dimwits call them pets.
  4. Exactly. Some of them, hell most of them, shouldn't have been able to be killed whatsoever. I'm still hot and pissed at Bioware for letting people be able to kill Quinn and I'm none too pleased at those turds who chose to kill Quinn. Why? Think about it, you forgive him with or without force choking his ***. Then he's thrown in jail for LOOKING for you as long as he could before being tossed in jail. And then people go and kill him because THEY are dumb and bioware is dumb for letting them be able to. There is nothing, NOTHING in the world that I will agree with for a player to kill off a companion they had during their story. The others that pop on the scene, fine, but their original crew? No. I don't care if they're light 5, Neutral, or dark 5, there's no reason to kill off one's original companions. Especially not after 5 or 6 years of them looking for you or being locked away or whatever. And I don't care if people agree with me. I'm still full of hatred for anyone who kills off their original crew for petty stupid stuff. They can kill Arcann, Senya, Lana, Koth, Theron, whatever, but when they kill their own original crew, I have no words. I can't stop them from doing so as it's their game, their character and their right, but any excuses they make for it will not sway my opinion. Sorry, but I'm extremely attached to my original companions and people wanting to kill one or all of their original crew gets me pissed.
  5. For my toons their names have meaning for me. Draconia I choose because I was a super huge nerd for Harry Potter so instead of Draco, it's Draconia. Eanelinea I've had since my gaming days in Everquest 1. The name was autogenerated for my wizard on EQ. Riza is from Full Metal Alchemist. Harriet is from Harry Potter. Basically a female version of Harry. Kathryn, Tamara and Melony because I like those names. Kyoko because I knew someone on live journal named Kayko.
  6. What is with you people wanting a crazy *** person as a love interest? I don't even want to romance Arcann and he can be 'redeemed' and let live. They're both crazy. Just Vaylin was a fry short of a happy meal. No thank you. Plus, you know, she's dead. She's pushing up daisies. She's worm food. She's dancing in hell. Let's not make her a zombie for the few weirdos out there who want someone crazier than dark Jaesa.
  7. I don't think there was really anything wrong with Kotfe or Kotet. What I was annoyed at was they weren't long enough and all mixed into one play through, well the first one wasn't. But I'm here for story, so the more I get, good, bad or mediocre, the happier I am. If I wanted anything but story, I'd take my *** back to WoW.
  8. I personally didn't kill anyone, or banish anyone. I let Torian die on my Sith Warrior, but let Vette die on my other characters. Even if I run into Theron again, I'm not killing or banishing him. I may smack him upset his dumb *** head, but he'll remain my males' boyfriend. Quinn, Jorgan, Kaliyo, Koth, Senya, Arcann, and anyone else one could kill if they were enough of a dick I kept alive. I won't get rid of my companions. And definitely am not getting rid of my original companions. Hell, I want Tanno Vik back, I left him alive.
  9. I'm not spending a dime on Anthem either. I like SWTOR. I don't want some shooter game that will more than likely bomb. Why not invest the money into swtor and actually put thought into it? Oh, and if Bioware reads this, don't turn the future companion returns into 2 min cutscenes ago. Put SOME thought into them please? Thanks.
  10. I'm not disappointed...yet. I see it like this, as long as I continue to get story in some fashion and updates even if small, I'm happy. Do I want super huge expansions? Sure! But at this point, as long as they're still releasing content, big, small or in the middle, I keep paying and playing.
  11. From Vanilla until about the day we stepped on Marr's ship is approximately 5-ish years. From being frozen until we find Theron on Copero is about 6.5 years. So in total, it's been almost 12 years since we were on Korriban, Tython, Ord Mantel or Hutta.
  12. I can't read his mind, but from what I gather, the team doesn't like one big *** expansion cause then WE have to wait a long while. So smaller bits of the expansion every couple of weeks or months is better. We may get an expansion for 6.0, but it won't be like SoR, it'll be a mix of SoR, KOTFE, and how they did Forged Alliances. IF I'm reading what he wrote correctly.
  13. It depends on what your rank with him was. If it was rank 10, the old highest level in swtor for companions, then you just go 'oh hai!' and get him. If your rank is a little low I think you have to bump it up (not sure).
  14. Love interests needing to be returned still. Doc Kira Ashara Akaavai Iresso Nadia Vector Jaesa Mako Companions in general needing to return. Zenith Khem Val Tharan Cedrax Scourge Think that's it? I looked through my companion notes and I believe that's it. I didn't include Tanno Vik cause I don't know if he'd come back or not.
  15. In my rping fanfiction filled brain, Jorgan calls his wife 'babe/baby', Andronikos likes to say 'WOMAN!' alot, Doc sticks with 'beautiful', Quinn sticks with 'my love', but my girls? All types of names lol
  16. Arg, Treek. I remember before 4.0, when she was a ****** tank and healer for me and I gave her good gear. So I just kept Quinn or Doc or whoever was actually a healer and they were better. Same with Treek tanking, tried to use her, she sucked, so I kept Corso as my tank and damn he was good. But as I said, a majority of them are killer tanks, awesome healers, but dps stance, eh not too much. But dpsing as a healer, damn.
  17. My girl calls him everything. =D Isn't fanfiction grand?
  18. I have no problem with the love threads, what a lot of us are annoyed about is that the companions who actually returned in KOTFE/KOTET got way more play time and oomph then the other companions we're still waiting on. I understand resources are limited, but some reunions should take more time than others. And I hate that the companions who were/are love interests seem to think we're out hoing around but still want us. Trust me, Corso was mister jealousy all throughout my play through. If I hit one flirt, even before I romanced and married him, he got REAL pissy. But with the reunion it's like 'it's okay if you slept with 1000s of people, we're still good. I want my wifey back!' Some companions probably really wouldn't care like Andronikos or maybe Doc, but the others would. Not only that, but it's been since what 2014 or 2015 since they yanked our original companions from us and just now beginning to return them, which I am ecstatic about because I want my husband companions back. But we all only got like 2-3 minutes from them. Even Quinn and Dorne's return was short. The minor story there was longish, but the reunions were short. And why would my married Sith Warrior call Quinn, Quinn? I thought she was calling him Malavai now? As I said earlier, I need to write the companions' return cause damn.
  19. Yeah I thought there'd be more OMG YOU'RE ALIVE *dirty dancing run and a twirl of Corso and my Smuggler*. No, I got a 'ohai you're alive, woot' and then a 'i know you might have been a 'ho all these years, but I still wantcha'. *sigh* At least Andronikos was more himself. I need to be hired as a writer for swtor, at least for the companions, I know them like the back of my hand.
  20. Please tell me you're joking and no one actually did that. I REALLY love the original male LIs from Vanilla, but I'm still married to my husband and he's nothing like those male companions... I almost want to quote a Queen song here...
  21. I've noticed they're not too good as dps unless you're dps too and can down a mob pretty quickly. I tried having a fairly high ranked (not 50) companion as dps while I was on my healer character and my companion kept dying even with me trying to heal as a fairly well (230) geared healer. Now the companions in tank mode and me as a healer? Invincible no matter what rank they are. I just toss a few heals, help dps (cause tank companions aren't great at dps of course) and I'm like dayum. But I've noticed some companions in heal spec outdoing themselves when in dps mode, kicking ***. I'm like 'er...you are in heal stance, right? *checks* Yeah, ***' lol It could be because they're rank 50. But my Quinn as a rank 50 healer, dear god. I wouldn't be surprised if I could solo an operation (SM of course) with just my heal companion at rank 50. (I know one can't solo operations, I'm just saying at rank 50 as a healer, Quinn is that good). Some of the other companions, eh, they're okay as healers. I've noticed Lana isn't too good as a healer or dps, but she has mad props as a tank.
  22. Aside from Marr who we know what happened to him. And we know at the moment Vowrann is alive. Didn't the other council members die? Or did they pick up their dress skirts and run out of the chambers like they had fire shooting out of their ***? I do miss some things from Vanilla. Stupid expansions moving story and changing things. *kicks it*
  23. I don't need details, but some info would be nice about 6.0. I don't think I'm the only one who wants to know about 6.0.
  24. Oooookay. That's not why I'm ************. I'm complaining because pets in swtor are the little critters and the people running around with us are labeled as companions in game. That's why I get annoyed. I don't give a **** if humans are animals just like Fluffy or Poji the Panda. I'm just saying, if you're talking about the companions, they're called companions and if you're talking about pets you're speaking about the little tiny furry, metal, or flying things that follow you. Don't get your high and mighty knickers in a twist. He explained, I let it go. People just have to beat that dead horse to glue after it was over and done with.
