  1. Thank you, thank you. A logical thought. Even though you're not a fan, and that's perfectly fine with me, you don't think Quinn making a mistake is a bigger deal than a dude who killed millions. Finally, someone with logic whether you like a companion or not.
  2. No!!! No, no, no! You evil, evil person! I absolutely LOVE Jonas Balkar and I can't romance him NOW if I wanted to because I'm married to Jorgan! NO! My old friend would LOVE to have Balkar become a companion, especially a romanced one. She'd drop Jorgan or Theron dead cold for a chance with him. And *sigh* I'd have to make a 4th character to run after Balkar myself cause I want him. No cookies for you for making my life more difficult now!
  3. I have no problem whatsoever with disliking them. I am not a fan of Scourge or Zenith, but people drool over them. What I DO hate and want to smack people around for (because I'm annoyed) is how I'll say (and especially inside the game) 'oh I'm so glad Quinn is coming back I love him and his intelligence!' And some tool, whether here in the forums or in the game will tell me how he betrays me and this and that and he's too nerdy or stuck up or *** kissing, but they'll fall all over themselves for dead Vaylin, or redeemed Arcann, or Zenith, or Scourge or whoever. Which is fine to like them and want to make babies with them. But please (and this is generally speaking) don't bash my favorite companion or call me stupid but then go off with a companion who is pure evil and would more than likely kill you while doing you and be okay with that but not Doc cause he's sexual, Corso cause he's old fashioned, Quinn cause he's smart and respectful, or whoever. I see it as this, you can dislike who I love, and I can dislike who you love. But don't talk **** about me and I won't talk **** about you for liking who you like. (I do say 'eew no thanks) and move on.
  4. I'm not racist, I'm speciesist. Eeew Rattaki and Miraluka! lol
  5. Oo, same. I may be annoyed at how they like one companion but not another for whatever reason, but I don't go into their thread and ***** about it. If I go into one of those threads, it's because I like the companion. I go to Quinn's thread, Theron's, etc because I'm a huge fan of them. But I don't go into the Vaylin thread and go 'ick, y'all sickos' for wanting to have a zombie, cause she's dead. *sigh* I really truly hope we still get SOME kind of conversations with our love interests even if Bioware let people kill them off. Poor Quinn. It's been YEARS, why kill him now???
  6. I don't talk smack about who someone wants to date or marry or whatever in game. Their money, their game play experience. What I DO talk smack about, are those who bash the companions I like, like Doc, Corso, especially Quinn, either wanting to leave them behind, kill them or whatever, but then they'll run off for their pookie bear Arcann, or want to date a dead Vaylin, or have a crazy *** DS Jaesa. Quinn betrays you ONE time. Arcann locks you away in carbonite for FIVE YEARS and tries to kill you during KOTFE. But Quinn's the bad guy for something he did ONCE like 7-8 game years ago. THAT's what makes me talk ****. Can people love Arcann? Sure, have fun. But don't get on a high horse and act like killing Quinn or dropping a romance for some whiney dude with daddy issues and his psychotic sister trying to kill me is a-okay, but Quinn betraying me once in 11 game years is the end of the line. (Not pointed to you personally, I was being vague and generally speaking)
  7. Ugh. I like Lana as a friend on my male and female characters and I don't mind a redeemed Arcann hanging around since Senya would probably keep him in line. But I *********** romanced Quinn, Jorgan, Torian, Vector, Doc, Iresso, Andronikos, and Corso. Damnit, they better have some *********** lines in 6.0 like Jorgan and Torian had in KOTET and KOTFE. I'll take the minor cutscenes cause at least I get something. The only people who romanced Theron are my males because I'm not into females in game or real life. If Bioware wants kill options, fine, but they need to realize that there are people like me who want dialogue, cutscenes, letters, etc from our ORIGINAL LIs. I don't want to romance Lana and I sure as **** don't want to romance Arcann. Why the hell would I romance some snot nosed whiney cry baby who tossed a fit cause daddy didn't love him and then stuck my fat *** in carbonite for 5 years, effectively ruining my life when my characters had good lives on their ships with their crew? And people hate on Quinn, Doc and Corso for stupid *** reasons, but they'll hook up with a **** stain who locks you away, almost killing you, in carbonite for 5 years. No. So, all I'm saying is, 6.0 better have me having at least a couple of 'I love you and I'm worried!' scenes with who **I** chose to be married to or dating.
  8. We need a love thread for Doc, too many people here don't like him for their own reasons but I love him. My JK has three kids with him, there's a 4th waiting for his return (I have/had kids waiting for the return of the other companions who are husbands/wives cause you know YEARS GONE, lots of happy fun times on the reunion...in my head canon lol) I may make a love thread for Doc and Tharan Cedrax. I love them both.
  9. Tell me about it. My SW is light side 5. I don't want crazy *** DS Jaesa in my group of companions. I hate Vaylin cause she was a crazy *** character and I don't want DS Jaesa. Don't get me wrong, bring her back for those who obtained crazy murderous Jaesa during their story, but for us LSers, let's keep our mentally stable LS Jaesa. I wasn't a fan of keeping Arcann because of what he did, but I didn't want to kill Senya so I wound up with Arcann. Sure, he's 'redeemed' now and ick romanceable, but I don't want a crazy ***** with me if my original Jaesa was rainbows and unicorns.
  10. I HATED with the burning passion of a million suns, having to kill of Torian even once and that was ONLY on my SW so she could keep Vette. The other 9 people I've taken through the expansions let Vette die every time. I hated that Vaylin just snapped their neck and no one even bothered to try to help Vette/Torian. Am I the only summa***** in the game (not players, but npcs/other companions) that can do anything in the damn game? I know my characters are Mary Sues, but COME ON.
  11. Oh, trust me, there are companions that annoy me and I'd smack the hell out of if I could. Only companions I really like alot are: Quinn, Vette, Doc, Kira, Andronikos, Torian, Corso, Vector, Lokin, Theron Shan, Lana Beniko, Senya, Tharan Cedrax, and Jorgan. The other companions, meh. But I'll still collect them, especially if they're original crew members from Vanilla. Just because I'm not a fan, doesn't mean I'm going to banish them or kill them.
  12. I hear you. Hell, technically, I wanted my pub toons to side with the Empire because the entire family is more loyal to the empire than to the republic. But game play wise, I chose what they were in vanilla because I didn't know if my companions and/or love interests would come back if I'd chosen the opposite faction. Look at Dorne. If you're a trooper, good or bad, and sided with the Empire, whether as you being a female, or her husband, she will drop kick your *** to the curb for siding with the Empire. Or if you're dark and killed jorgan and maybe some other things, but sided with the republic, she still drop kicks you to the curb. I didn't want that happening to me. So I understand why you chose Empire for your Agent, I had the same fears and wanted my agent's husband back. My smuggler chose Republic because Corso doesn't like the Empire. But I as the player, didn't know if he'd still come back or if he'd dump me for choosing to side with the Empire. I would say, just for future consideration, if you're not sure how your normal companions or love interest would react, try to remember how they were in the story, how they acted with your being light/dark, and that anything relating to KOTFE and after, is now remembered. It's not like in Vanilla where you could cuss out your companions, or kill everything and be dark 20 million and the companion/LI would stay with you. Now companions can and could leave you. Look at Koth. Look at Dorne. I'd say look at Quinn, but he'll leave the Empire if you are a SW and side with the Republic whether you romance him or not.
  13. I'm annoyed by this. Not for those who are new to the game, but for those who couldn't be assed to keep their subs going for 'reasons'. I already have Shae Vizla and Niko on all 54 of my characters. I've been a sub for 6 almost 7 years, what exactly am I going to get for keeping my sub going even now? I'd like something new, maybe veteran rewards for still paying and playing. I have my Founders title, my Party Jawa and all the other subscriber at certain times, etc awards, but with STILL being a sub, I get nothing? Boooo.
  14. They say they have a 5.10 probably coming so he could come back in that patch OR they're saving him for the 6.0 expansion. Let's hope if you took your JK through everything, she didn't side with the Empire on Iokath cause it seems to me (and this is my opinion only) that they may make you side/fight for the side you picked on Iokath.
  15. I tend to agree. Although, for me personally, I chose the side they were JUST in case it affected my romanced companions returning to me. So my Smuggler, JK, JC and Trooper stuck with the Republic, and my SW, SI, Agent, and BH stuck with the Empire side. Though, they probably will have you have to side with whatever faction you chose during Iokath. So if someone took their SW through Iokath and sided with the Republic, they might be stuck with the Republic from here on out. On one hand that makes sense, on the other it kind of doesn't. But I've learned, especially since doing KOTFE, KOTET, and Iokath, any and all decisions WILL be remembered and WILL affect your future play style. So for anyone who thinks/thought their decisions don't/didn't matter, BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU CHOOSE FROM THE DIALOGUE WHEEL. Because it seems ever since KOTFE, the game and companions/npcs WILL remember everything you do.
  16. This is why I have no love for those who kill companions. Because sometimes you'll never hear from them in the story for those who never killed them or they make their appearance slight. I didn't kill any love interests, so hopefully, Bioware if you're watching this thread, please include our romanced companions and don't forget them. I'll take small scenes like what we got in KOTFE and KOTET with Theron, Jorgan and Torian. (I don't know about the females because I tend to romance men, on male and female characters)
  17. That is indeed Kai, he cracks my **** up every time I did Rishi. LOL So glad he was unable to be killed. He's one of those npcs you want to keep and just pinch his cheeks cause he's just so adorkably funny. I want more Kai Zykken in my future stories. Make it so, Bioware!! lol
  18. The flashpoints as minor/major parts of the story, or the story right now since we're still in 5.x and not in 6.x yet, doesn't bother me. Because they did the same thing in Forged Alliances when we first met Lana and Theron before 3.x came out. Now if every single story is in a flashpoint, then yes, I'll be quite ticked off, but a bit of story in flashpoints? Meh, keep them coming if that's what needs to be done until a real expansion. I don't care. Especially since you know damn good and well 5.9 is going to be another flashpoint.
  19. Are people STILL having bloody issues with Copero AFTER the nerf in solo??? Okay, now THAT is extremely unskilled or undergeared players. Before Copero was nerfed, fine I'll give a bit of it was a hassle with so many mobs and bosses with like a zillion hit points but AFTER the nerf? Nope, never playing with groups ever again. Nope, nope. If a player can't do Copero solo AFTER the nerf, which made it way way too easy, then those are people I am never playing with. I know not everyone is leet and uber, I sure as hell am not, but come on, the Copero after nerf is a cake walk for soloing. Arg. Sorry, but after the nerf problems is NOT the flashpoint, it's the people.
  20. You guys have problems with the hooks? I've done lots and lots of flashpoints, missions, stories with hooks and never had a problem. I did have a problem once in one of the star fortresses with the hooks, but it was just once and never had a problem since. Wonder what's causing the issue with people not able to use the hooks.
  21. You're of course, allowed to do as you wish. Your characters, play time, money, etc. It's just for me, personally, I literally have had these companions for 6 almost 7 real life years, been here since 2011 and I feel like they're all family. Not real life family of course, but in the game and no matter what they do or don't do, I can't kill them. Even my dark sided Sith Warrior didn't kill him. Actually, my dark sided sith warrior didn't kill any companions even the ones not part of her original crew. My bounty hunter took back Skadge because he was a part of her original crew, so I can't just kill or dismiss for whatever reason. And as for betrayal, meh, I see it as he made a dumb mistake, it's been almost 8 or 9 games years since it happened and I forgave him.
  22. Yeah, that's the only thing that bothers me about Umbara. The train makes me a little dizzy too, but not enough to really hate on it. I had to do it alot to get the stronghold, which I did. Only had to do it once cause my other toons can just get to it via the personal stronghold transport. It was a pain in my *** to decorate it though. I have ALL the strongholds decorated 100%. After a while though, my less favorite strongholds kind of look like crap decorated, but I still tried to give them SOME type of proper decoration.
  23. I like to think that at the time of the betrayal, Quinn had no choice or thought he had no choice. When I did my sith warrior and the betrayal happened, we were already married and spoke about having kids. (They've changed it now, but you used to be able to do it all quickly with getting their rank up there fast, which I did). So, I like to think that either Baras threatened me, threatened Quinn's mother (since his dad is dead and I don't remember the encyclopedia mentioning if his mother was deceased too) or forced Quinn with some weird Sith version of the Jedi mind trick to get him to set everything up. I still trust Quinn, especially being his wife, and I figured he didn't really have a say in the whole thing. Now, if Baras threatened me or Quinn's family, Quinn could have told me and we could have worked it out, made it look legit but at least I'd have known about it. So, I'm under the suspicion that he was forced with some type of hypnosis/mind trick to get him to be all cagey and quiet about it until it happened. Aside from that really dumb betrayal with the easy and stupid droids, Quinn never gave me a reason not to trust him. Even on Iokath when I sided with the Empire, he still didn't give me reason to distrust him, and he was tossed in prison for disobeying orders to stop looking for me. So in my opinion, there is absolutely no reason to kill him so many years after that fact, especially when I told him all was forgiven (my sw is light 5) and let him continue on being my husband. I seriously don't see the point, whether you can dismiss him or not for siding with the Empire, there's just no reason to kill him. But that's me and my opinion will never change.
  24. See, if a person could do it at the time the betrayal happened, sure have fun, especially now with us having like 10000000000 companions who can do all three roles, but as I said, waiting until Iokath to kill him is kind of stupid because you kept him for like 1-2 years before KOTFE, then you get frozen, 5 years later you're thawed, then a little over a year later you see Quinn and NOW you want revenge (in game not real life)? I just wish Bioware didn't allow the killing of any companion. If they wanted us to have the options, they should have redid certain parts of vanilla and let it be there.
  25. I took Ashara back on my female sith inquisitor, but then again she IS Darth Imperius and Ashara was one of her friends. I even took back Skage on my female bounty hunter and I personally as the player detest him, but my bounty hunter was like 'hey look another friend'.
