  1. I'd say he's part of the larger minority, being more then half of SWTOR's playerbase has already quit
  2. Severely disappointed. Incompetence mixed with greed is a recipe for disaster.
  3. You shouldn't be criticizing their effectiveness in getting transfers rolling. I mean for God's Sake man, look at how the new MMO TERA's transfer service went ok? Do you want SWTOR's Character transfer service to be ANYTHING like theirs? I mean it seems like they are able too get character's transferred within only 30 seconds of the request! They limit the amount of time you're character is trapped within the twilight zone/alternate dimension, which is groundbreaking technology (possibly alien?) in itself. Other MMO's can learn a lot from SWTOR, and so can you.
  4. Not flamed, just insulted for sounding very silly. Why would you refer to them *free* transfers, if u have to pay and be subbed?
  5. Dude, i have to say that is amazing! I think just think it's so awesome that Bioware have prevented your characters from being stuck in the twilight zone/alternate dimension for only a minimum of 30 seconds while your character was *transferred* (*cough* copied). I think other MMO's should aspire to them and learn of thier superior advanced (possibly ALIEN?) technology that allows this. I mean just imagine the possibillities now.
  6. That's true, im sure they are much happier about paid transfers coming out soon, more money for them. But all-in-all, this is actually more important to them LOL. They are losing on average 5k subs a day (pretty sure about this) and this is a much more important issue even in comparison to all the $$$ they can rake in from paid transfers. For this reason, expect paid transfers to cost at minimum 20$, to around a maximum of probably 25$-30$ per.
  7. What's a good estimate for how long it will it take for all servers to be eligible for transfers? This is all i want to know and i can't seem to get this question answered on these forums. I'm taking a neutral stance, so if you are a covert BW/EA employee or a forum ball buster, please understand your furious anger shouldn't be directed at me. My question is, what is good estimation for how long it will take to get every server eligible for transfer? Will it be finished by the end of today? Will it take a week? A month? Based on how other games have done this, what would be a good estimate? Thank you.
  8. All i want to know is, how long before all the servers are eligible for transfer? Whats a good estimation please? Based on how other games have done this, how long should it take?
  9. Look, im taking a neutral stance as i ask this question, please dont accuse me of criticizing Bioware. Does anyone knowledgeable in these kind of things, estimate how long it will take for all servers to eventually be eligible for transfer? A day? A week? A month? Thank you
  10. Giving credit where none is due is also a silly thing to do. Ever hear the saying, the customer is always right? Thats because they are always right, because without them, any business cannot survive. Customers don't give praise to Bioware because they are not a company worth showing any type of gratitude too. All they are worthy of is complaints and criticism, for obvious reasons.
  11. I don't understand the logic behind that class in PVP. It makes no sense why they are allowed to remain the single most overpowered class in the game. I have 3 characters in full BM with WH pieces, but i refuse to PVP anymore because it feels so unfair that i constantly lose to that class. Or i am forced to watch them destroy everyone. My 3 classes are Sorcerer, jedi shadow, and powertech. I can understand completely why so many people unsubbed to the game, it's not really a mystery why Biowares sad loss of over half the playerbase in a few months occured. It is mainly thier defensive CD's mixed with thier incredibly high damage that makes them so OP. I don't mind or care that a pure dps class does a ton of damage, i would expect that completely. It's the fact you would rather focus a powertech down despite them having heavy armor. I mean they don't need a powerful evasion or undying rage ability. That should be only for TANKS. The biggest folly though is giving them powerful CC along with the defensive CD's. That is what truly caps off these designers incompitence. That and the fact thier damage is not based on precious resource, but on remaining consistent in battle, which any retard can do. Cliffs - Warzones aren't fun when rauders kill everything and can't be killed fast. - for the marauder class, remove evasion, remove undying rage, remove any damage mitigation abilities. - If they did this, pvp would be 1 step closer to fixed
  12. It is simply because it has no consequences for whatever actions you choose. It doesn't really matter which option you pick, the next part of the story ends the exact same way for every choice. And it doesn't really matter which dialogue option you choose either, all you *maybe* get is a different response. I mean you never get different gear, special items, credits, or anything of that sort based on storyline options, i think it's just kinda bland for a game that is a carbon copy of WOW (except the voiceovers ofcourse) to just have it stall out completely once u pick ur different option. I mean if you are going to imbed story into an MMO or any game, for that matter, atleast make it feel like it's important right? And don't even get me started on dark/light side... the only benefits too this are equipping RELICS? Or looking sick if ur too far into the darkside? I remember in an interview prior too the games release, one of the developers was like... *You will be able too choose different options for your storyline in flashpoints, that will affect what *BOSSES* you fight inside it... And the only flashpoint for which it's available is in Black Talon LOL! 1 stinky boss with 0 twists too it anyway, making it such a joke too even implement and talk about honestly. I mean so much hype about TOR's storyline, i just don't even see how it's impressive at all, doesn't even feel like it matters (which it doesn't apparently). And for those who say, too give it time. It won't have ANY time or chance too improve if it's DEAD now will it? I think it's pretty obvious that thier first impression was what mattered most...
  13. Let's assume my next statement is hypothetical (although it is very possible). Say Bioware's idea of *Super Servers* never becomes a reality (very possible given their track record) and the only option they give at the last second are free server transfers from high too low population servers only (which ofcourse nobody in thier right mind would do). And a couple weeks after, they implement servers transfers too any destination of your choosing, and it ends up costing around $15-$20 per transfer. Would you end up paying for the optional ones? I myself would not. I've already unsubbed and thier is no way in hell i would fork over more hard earned dollars too such a company.
  14. It stuck with me because it rung true for me as a statement, not because it made me think about only server transfers. Dunno where you came up with that last part, aside from trying too insult someone who dislikes your precious videogame that doesn't seem too give a dam about its playerbase.
