  1. if this is true than you ask the wrong question: are healer needed in rated? OH A VERY VERY BIG YES are you needed there? no! not if you get 3 shotted. you must be playing naked and being afk.

  3. this post is full of clueless and lies! mara/sents is BY FAR NOT the most preventable damage in the game! sages/sorcs damage is far easier to prevent kommandos/mercs gunnery specc is also far easier to prevent! actually nothing you worte above about preventing a sents/maras dmg is right: dispelling does not really help against annihilation: beside having 2 dots there is also a healing debuff and a slow. a dispel can only dispel 2 (random) effects every 12s. the dots get reapplied very fast. the few classes that can dispell can't dispell all others due to the cooldown. they can'T perma dispell themself due to the cooldown and they either get some of the damage of or the slow. so they still get beaten meanwhile the COOLDOWN! beside of this the dots do not make up for 100% of the damage. you cannot prevent annihilations damage at all. that's totally bulls.hit! carnage countered by tanks? lol? since 1.2 you go through a tanks mitigation faster than the cd's of a tank helps him to stay alive. and you want us all to respecc tank? ***? the most preventable damage? you have absolutely NO CLUE ABOUT this game and the other classes! NO CLUE! you want to defend sents/maras? then shut up. you make it worse for this class than any whiner could ever do!
  4. actually you wanted to prove that sents/maras are overpowered? i wouldn't agree that much, but your opening post reads like this. avoid 1on1? never knockback or fill the resolve bar? so basically just stand there and die? because you CANNOT run otherwise? actually there are some classes that are fodder to a sent/mara. though these are not only fodder to this but also to most if not all other classes. the thing is only, the lose of a fight with these classes looks always more dramatically when against a sent/mara. this is why sent/mara are if at all only a bit overpowered. the real issue is some classes having some very big issues by design. but to get back to the topic, to the op: you didn't made your class a favour. you basically proved for all out there sents/maras actually ARE overpowered. only a few would know that most of what you write is, well....

    i guess you missed it: ALL DAMAGE from all classes icnreased quite much. classes that depend to end fights fast (e.g. because of their class dynamics makes this an advantage, healer for example profit from an extended fight time) get an advantage by this. guess what, sentinels and marauders are those getting the most advantage of an overall increased damage. edit: but not only them.

  10. he is not contradicting. you can say the same, but it must not hold true. only because it was totally false claim about sage/sorcs does not mean it is also false about sentinels/marauders (though with this i do not take one side over the other here!). dd sages/sorcs are one of the two weakest classes (iotism claimed them to be overpowred, only pre 50 and people not able to use interupts!) and ever were. sentinels / marauders even if not overpowered are definitly never as close to the bottom as sages/sorcs were or are.
  11. one suggestion to your build. i would prefer static field over power armor. the reason is, power armor is better if focused, especially from a range as it is always active. but in such a situation is won't help you anyway. static field on the other side is stroinger if you have your opponent(s) within 10m which at least your target should be anyway. it helps you more in 1on1 or 2on2 fights and if you are getting focused from more people it doesn't matter that you don't have power armor anyway
  12. it is not a fail at all that it iis affected by resolve. are you mad? and no, i haveb't seen it bugged, not once on my vanguard. working fine every time.
  13. all damage, from all classes did increased. though this means some kind of nerf for all mainly utility classes that depended to avoid damage by range/cc/ etc. as they are on the lower end of the dmg increase. this created an enourmous imbalance. i really do not know why they did such a BIG game changing change. i still believe it is some kind of a mistake.
  14. i am now iron fist like specced again. i observed that pulse cannon now for me indeed has its first tick immediately. @above post: interesting. the damage from the stacks was not working for me yesterday.
  15. but you can't. assault has been overnerfed and tactics is broken,. because pulse generator is not working at all. beside of this, iron fistbuilds still give you better ssurvivability than otherr. wanna see how it currently feels playing assault in this pvp? you won't even have the seconds to blow anything up if your nick name is known to the enemy to focus on. i am. i currently die in a few seconds with my iron fist build because i always am one of the guys being focused. this may change now es i am no longer a threat i used to be, at least not as much.
  16. this is true, but the difference is so low that i does not give an explenation for the current situation. additionally this squishiness nearly all are currently feeling apply also to scenarios without competense at all, like the <50 bracket or even PVE.
  17. you mean the pulse generator? this i tested with all 3 cells. that talent doesn't work with any of them. the run speed of course works only with HEC as the tooltip says, though as i mentionend... never tested and used as i do not intend to run with anything else but ion cell. though, the broken mitigation currently makes you feel naked anyway. could omit it so.
  18. i do around 800 non-crit with 0 stacks as i do with 5 stacks. being tactics i crit with around 1500-1600. looks very odd that you have only 1300 crits for 850 normal damage hits. so maybe it is not bugged for all?

  20. i like it as my class buff is totally useless. nice to get some of the usefull ones even if my teammates are not buffing again during the match (which mostly is the case sadly).
  21. what adds up. there is only a 15% increase. while you are slowed even more. don't tell me that you menage to get out of their range in less than 6s only with a 15% speed improvement. 6s and then you are getting slowed again (if not, than your opponent sucks!). if you can kite with 15% run speed increase than you can do it with 0 tooo. and if this is the case then your opponent simply sucks.

  23. not true! i have 18% damage and close to 16% reduction from epxertise. beside of that even with your numbers consider how high the number still would be. all seem to die after the patch much faster, even in lower bracket without any expertise involved at all. hell, even reports of tanks feeling far more squishy in pve!
  24. no. didn't i mentioned i play with ion cell? anyhow, that 15% are not enoguh for kiting. the time you need to get out of their range is enough to finish their cd to slow you down again. it can be hard to get out of range even with a 50% slow. either your server works differently or your opponents are damn slow at reacting if the 15% run speed helps you to effectively kite against a good opponent. edit: btw. some are claiming that i does not work for them. some say it does.
