  1. From an Imp point of view... I always want a Sorc (sage) and Operative (Scoundrel) as the healing pair. Sorc for the group... Operative for the main tank, whom-ever that may be at the time.
  2. The mission you are thinking of is Coruscant's blacksun sector and market sector... kill 15, then 45. Urgh. Dromund kaas over-all is smaller than Coruscant, but the sheer number of people to kill and silvers/golds are WAY more; so killing is quicker and more fluid in general. I don't know who want in charge of the maps for this game, don't care either. This game seems Imperial by design in both plot and map design, the only times Republic seems better is the placements on higher level planets - Imperials get a little jumbeled(sp)... but the plot is WAY better.
  3. Unlock Twi'lek legacy species. You'll then get the "Sith" style tatoo's ~and~ red hues.
  4. For a game that forced itself into where SWG used to be, they've done so many things differently and plain wrong. SWG had one, minor, set back for dying. 10 minute, debuff, -75% health + action. Fix, 5k credits (gotten in less than 2 minutes killing level 60's) ... or, and get this from an MMO ... they went to a cantina or player house and watched ANOTHER player to remove the debuff. ^ see? See?! This game, as a whole, has way too many credit sinks. Period. Then you tell me the fix they added, to make repair costs fine (although still too much for my personal liking) was actually wrong? But instead of lowering the repair costs further then implementing the fix... they just added the costs over and effectively killed casual raids? No. You added Free-to-play so casual people could play the game, pay cartel coins to raid if they wanted... now, alongside their capped credits - they have to spend all of their capped credits after a nights raid... That uhh... doesn't slide. I don't care for the (maybe) 5% of the game who somehow become insanely rich and drag their fellow guildies up to the top with a chunky bank account for repairs. I don't care for the elitists who think dailies are fun 7 days a week, 4 weeks a month, 12 months a year. I care about being able to play the game and have fun. Not being forced to either use pvp mark II gear or not play at all. Because if this keeps up, I'll be using the recruit gear - because at least then, when I wipe it'll be freaking cheap(er)!
  5. I honestly don't like tier systems (gear wise). I don't like death penalties for PvE. I don't like companies who dish out fixes that break the game. Freaking fix this EA. It was expensive enough BEFORE the patch, now you're really shafting us.
  6. I actually got the key when it was expensive, it cost me £15 - not dollars, pounds, which is MORE ... plus £3 in post and package. For that price, I was ticked, but I'll keep the keylogger thingy, I'd love more for the price I paid - but to see it's now less than £5 to buy, the items currently on the vendor are worth it, because you also get 100 coins a month if you have one... so long term, it fans out if you got it cheap. It'll likely be 10 years before mine was actually worth it, coin wise.
  7. This is Starwars, despite EA basically owning it completely - I can't agree with this. Take SWG as an example, they screwed around with the timeline of items and got enough drama from it. Imagine if you suddenly started throwing in items from other 'alternative' realities - not only would they look out of place, but the already lacking immersion in some cases would be shot further still.
  8. I love tanking, it's the one free thing to do. I can go where I like, at the pace I like... and if those around me decide to do stupid things, 9/10 times, they can die for their stupidity. I'm a tank, first and foremost. I lead unless specifically needed not to, and even then... I'm never far behind. DPS in this game are expendable, healers and tanks are much rarer by default. Healers who can't keep a tank alive soon find themselves on the ignore lists of dedicated tanks quickly and dps - heh - you don't even need to do that, just vote kick or leave, go play a warzone and reque for a flashpoint, boom in. I'll make allowences for stupid players, honest. But I have my limits... and we tanks don't like being pushed too much, DPS and bad healers alike should know, you can't get far without the tank and the tank can't get too far without at least a healer. So I thank the OP for taking the time to see what a tanks world can be like, most dps take us for granted - when infact, it is us, the tanks... who don't need you more often ,)
  9. Chances are, the "green" grade stuff will match blackhole items in terms of rating. This makes Rakata somewhat useless, as it does with Tionese and Columi. But. It'll make Dreadguard pretty much useful for the hardmodes they'll likely include - or some kind of currency for doing Makeb dailie or whatever, that'll grant the "65" rating stuff. aka, 154 stat stuff. That'll mean free-to-play players who are not buying into the expansion will have to work their basesides off for blackhole stuff, whilst those who paid up ... get roughly the same stuff, for simply leveling on the new planet. Those that want their gear to mean something - will continue to mean something, because the blue items dropped are only equal to their gear - and the best stuff (purple/orange) can only be found in the flashpoint and/or heroics and/or world boss(es).
  10. Lightsaber crystals have white cores, simple as that. It's the ARC fusion blade at work and we see the outside as a colour because of the colour crystal - if anything, the dual colour should be present at the edges... nowhere else, the core should ALWAYS be white. That said - if they ever redo the blades - please, please PLEASE ... remove the black cored at minimal.
  11. a Sub only access legacy bank (buyable for account unlock) - would be perfect and more cash in EA's pocket for those not subbed. Single page; full 80 items. All we'd need! Make it happen...
  12. Thank you both! The 2nd guide was easier to understand and now I know what to look for. Thanks again!
  13. I've tried looking this up via google, but failed... I've got my main on live with cybertech and finally enjoying endgame content - however, I'm quite curious as to how I get to learn the 23+ armour and mods. If someone could explain in laymans terms, I'd be greatful - thank you!
  14. This game needs more outfits, in general. Then - every single current outfit needs at LEAST 10 colour options. Save the Cartel, because we "sooo" don't want to spoil their cashcow. Unless recolour kits were bought via said market? Kaching. So I'll support more sexy outfits, providing that covers both genders and works on companions... and we can choose which varient of model we use as a female toon - the half-tops some of them look better as full tops.
  15. I know if I was ever a GM... I'd have to reward the troll requests just because. You feed the trolls when bored. I'm sure it applies to GM's.
  16. I tend to travel to Belsavis, so I can get to Section X, Belsavis bonus area and Ilum as well as the blackhole. But... I crash most often, when leaving my ship. I have since been forced to purchase for 150k to be able to teleport to the blackhole every 6 hours. Just so I have a much lessened chance of crashing whilst traveling. TL;DR - I support the OP.
  17. Providing when changing sides, nothing changes - period - that'd be cool. Naturally though it would be restricted to 50's for the whole voicing issue, unless of course you bring them all back in to do the the other sides stuff too. I'd love to make an Assassin and flip them to Jedi - providing I get to keep my lightning etc.
  18. 'Aging' Should be a choice as and when you create a character. I for one, could imagine the Sith inquisitor to be quite elderly - serving a lifetime of slavery... then suddenly thrust into the whole sith stuff. Although it would look quite odd - if they became Assassin's as it is rare for even Forcer users to be so quick on their feet after the first century. - Yoda being one of the few exceptions.
  19. I'm relatively new to endgame content - seeing as how those who play on the PTS simply cannot experience it. Period. So started over, got my 50... and I've found the instances you CAN'T LFG more fun AND easier. EA's just slacking again.
  20. I love my overload, don't get me wrong. But there's times when you want a single push. Being the class that masters the force in all ways - should we not have a single knockback - just have it SHARE timers with the CoE if "Balance" is an issue.
  21. Being a die-hard Beastmaster from SWG, I support the beast ideas - providing you can "buy" into 2 or 3 types of beast/droid or whatever. Beastmasters win by having a selection of friends for different encounters. As to the Consular/Inquisitor using heavy armour, no. I don't disagree with the high resist factors, but the point of that class as a whole (base class) is that they use the force in all things. The solution would be simple, less moving around, less reactive abilities and more focus on "innate" force defences and buffs that boost the armour to heavy levels. Sacrifice the "pull" for a jump and job done.
  22. You'll find healers and tanks alike get alot of crap from everyone else, you know why? Because DPS suck. That's right. We don't need them and they know it. As a healer, you'll find getting your pantsu into another guild is very easy.
  23. You are paying for fluff content. If you want a 110% speeder, all the time, you get the DE upgrade. Job done. If you want to look how you want, fall into their money trap and throw said coinage at them.
  24. The annoying thing is, the Hutts have always been a 3rd wheel to the conflict - yet no game has made massive use of this potential faction. If you imagine the Empire and Republic both being 40% of the map and the Cartel owning maybe 15% of the remaining 20%... they can really make a difference. It kinda irks me they didn't include a 'freelancer' smuggler/BH that followed the Hutt side of things - the two classes have never been 100% on one side.
  25. Rule of thumb. Wait for all players to greed, if all before you have done so - THEN ask if it's okay, if you want the purple crystal... or for a comp, if ANY of the group says no... greed like everyone else and move on. Heck, I feel bad when I run greeds for gear I can't use - to the point I'll offer it away to groupies, if someone wants it... they get it. Simple solutions :- - Add ignore (100% never going to group with them via random again) - Master looter.
