Because it isn't just changing a spec it's like a whole class change. Jedi sage is very different from shadow. Would you be able to go from druid to warrior or mage to rogue in WoW?

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the workbench on their ship is related to what profession they have. I know it isn't usable but it looks to me like it was implemented then removed at some point.

Even a million credits would be too cheap for this. Start at 50 million upwards and I might be persuaded. Really though I agree with other posters, some decisions need to be permanent. I even rolled two jedi sages so I could play pure healer and DPS spec. No doubt dual spec will be coming at some point but I hope respec of Advanced Class never happens. Just reroll a new one.

Same goes for me. I was surprised how much cash I did have by the time I had to buy my speeder piloting. I would say don't buy anything from the GTN , the gear from quests and drops is more than sufficient. I am playing in moddable oranges (which I keep updated) and blues and have no problems. I make my own stims and so far have seen no reason to purchase anything. I'm sure this changes at 50 but then you can get gear from PvP.

I kind of hope we don't get it but only because i've levelled 2 Jedi sages lol. One for pure healing the other for DPS. I think it's pretty inevitable it will come though.

This is exactly how I feel. I really miss day/night cycles. I know people say they are unimportant but no one can dispute they add to atmosphere. Turning up on Coruscant, or any planet for that matter, and it looks exactly the same every time. Wouldn't you like to see night on Coruscant, or a beautiful sunset on Tatooine. SWG planets may have been large areas without much content but they did feel like worlds. As you say there are no, ' Wow look at that view' moments. Now I'll get flamed for mentioning SWG or the fact this isn't a sandbox. But surely in a Themepark MMO there is room for these things too, even WoW manages it.

This I have to agree with. Bugs can be tolerated but to see large numbers rewarded for exploitation sends totally the wrong message to the rest of us who play by the rules. It's practically one of the only reasons I can think of presently that would cause me to unsub. Cheats should never prosper.

No rollback is a disgrace. We can see now exploiters are rewarded. I can take your bugs etc, but when you don't truly punish exploiters that just sticks in my throat. What incentive is there for the rest of us to play fairly.

I kind of agree. I can take bugs etc. But to see people who exploit not face consequences or minor ones, really pisses me off.

I played FFXIV at launch, much to my regret. There was literally nothing to do and it really was buggy. You had leves (Quests) you could do every 48 hours, imagine that lol. You can't even begin to compare the two, FFXIV was barely a game and still isn't months later.

No. Did you manage to play during that month? If so you are getting what you paid for. I'm far from a fanboi but even I think this has been one of the better MMO launches and I've played most since '99.

Wow this is so untrue. That game has some of the most epic and evocative music of ANY game. I only have to hear the music from the starting zones and it takes me back years to when I first played. Have you actually played with the sound on ? I remember the music in both the Burning Crusade and LK, they totally added to the atmosphere. So either you are deaf or just trolling because if there is one thing WoW did right it was the epic music.

I surprised myself and enjoy Republic more than I expected. I rolled Sith Sorcerer and just got fed up with all the damn lightning, also I didn't like some of the quest options, I guess I find being an evil ***** too hard I now have a Jedi Sage and Trooper both of which I am enjoying immensely. The big drawback for me though is Republic side is pretty empty compared to what I was used to on Empire.

Maybe get rid of the airlock and a few loading screens. But I would keep the spaceport and my own hangar. The only time we get to see our ship is when we enter our hangar and run up to it. I want to see my ship, I don't want to zone from the spaceport directly inside it. Otherwise you may as well get rid of ships entirely as they serve no other useful purpose. We can't even place items in them.

As a healer I agree and disagree. Yes, the tank should be holding aggro, but if you get a healer who just constantly is spamming heals then of course they are going to get huge aggro. Healing isn't just about pressing heals as much as you can ,it's about managing your aggro, using heals most effectively. If someone is spamming Deliverance then they are not a healer. However, i have seen it seems very easy to get aggro in this game as a healer also. Basically, dont't always blame the tank . DPS should also be using CC.

I was thinking along similar lines, or maybe even a 'proper' crafting class , like a Droid Engineer. Now someone will say this isn't SWG but just because we would like more involved classes doesn't mean everyone has to play one.

This is particularly true for Jedi, it's bland, bland and then even more bland. I mean I know Jedi wouldn't be running around in technicolour dreamcoats but at least some more variety and greater detail on the armour would be appreciated. Often when I get a new robe or lower robe it's a case of spot the difference.
