This pretty much sums up what I think SWTOR lacks currently. I have played several MMO's in my life, and in its current state SWTOR really doesn't bring anything "new". But SWTOR do have some elements of MMO's which I do find good.

Good points, good points. For some parts, this might be a case. I did unsub, but not because I do not like the game. I will re-sub when the game is actually finished, and most of the bugs are gone )

I would like to see that they work on current system and improve it.

Anyone else think SWToR is too easy and more of the same?

OP, I feel your pain. I'm a old class MMO player. I do miss old type MMO's which were grindy and hard. Especially Korean ones. There were no quests at all, and you had to kill mobs from level 1-99. And most of the classes couldn't kill mobs solo after level 40, as healing potions were so expensive that you simply couldn't afford them! (Also they were really weak!). MMO's are these days mainstream. Most players these days cannot "Commit" 2 hours a day, which is really sad. -
Totalbiscuit - Interview - Gabe Amantangelo
Faythz replied to DigitalPrime's topic in General Discussion
I really love how people flame TB. This interview is about Gabe Amantangelo and SWTOR, not about TB. I feel sorry for those teens who just flame threads like these. Learn some manners! -
You have a few choices... First, you can always reroll. Second, try make as much as credits as possible. Third, farm warzones and do PVP in general. PvP these days requires less teamwork as most people just go warzones and solo. MMO's are games which require social/teamplay. If that doesn't fit to you, then you should consider do you want to play this game. You can always do all class quests and after that walk away.

Totalbiscuit interviews Gabe Amantangelo, the lead developer of operations, flashpoints and pvp. Check it out!

Sorry to hear that you were kicked. People rarely kick anyone out without a reason. I have never been kicked before. I always try to be nice and reasonable, and I admit if I do mistakes. I wish you get better luck with your groups within future!

SWTOR Running Amazingly on YOUR Machine ? Please Post Specs !
Faythz replied to TheSpoils's topic in General Discussion
Intel Core i5 2500K 3.3GHz 8GB DDR3 1333MHz AMD Radeon HD 6850, 1GB GDDR5 Windows 7 64-bit Game works well. What I have heard, the current "High" settings are just at par of "medium". On "medium" I don't have lag at all. -
DPS meters cause abuse and take away choice!

"Better be judged by dps rather than gear" Just a personal opinion though. -
Alright, thanks for informing me!

Yeah, I know that it sounds silly. There was a sticky on general when they did ban people camping these boxes. I wish I could find it but I cannot.. People did get banned even if they didin't bot. They just were not meant to be there at that level. If you can find the sticky for me and prove that I'm wrong, please do so. I don't want to spread BS. D:
-
Hopefully they add it when they improve UI!
-
World PvP cannot be implemented into the game, it can be only encouraged. The players are the ones who make it happen. Giving decent rewards/candy/good reason to fight outside warzones is way to go! That's why I think adding possibility to raid enemy capitals for good rewards is an awesome idea.
-
It's still forbbiden to go there when you don't meet the level requirements in the area. Good thing that you reported Ignore this as it was proven to be false. Also if anyone can find the sticky where they explained why they did do the bans, please post the link!

I doubt what you are saying. I'm currently subscribed on both WoW and SWTOR. That being said, WoW still has a playerbase higher than 2mil. I have been mainly focusing SWTOR lately though. I log in WoW only when I have a raid.

Well, MMO's have became more ''mainstream''. I have played loads of korean mmo's, they were usually insane grindfest. I miss old type MMO's

Flashpoints too long for 99%
Faythz replied to Letsplayrift's topic in Flashpoints, Operations, and Heroic Missions
Heck if you don't have time to do FP's, just simply don't do them! -
