  1. Trouble is, people often have differing opinion as to how to do the bot boss. Then orientation of the tank. Then who takes on the adds. They can even fight over whether it should be done clockwise or counterclockwise (when it's done doing circles in a tight group). Then peeps rage-quit.
  2. The cannon part is the most annoying. I rarely see any groups breaking up after that. Most groups (that actually break) seem to bleed there. I don't know why but there seems to be damage spikes there. There's a guy (not the one that goes green and explodes, that's very obvious) that knocks you back and you either suffer some ridiculous damage or not. I can't say what enemy is that or what kind of damage he does but it can be evil sometimes.
  3. I also hate Hutt Ball. That's actually the reason I stopped to PVP. It's just bothersome to quit HB all the time, loading screens etc.
  4. Bought about $180 worth of CC. I have like 2500 CCs remainig.
  5. So, I guess all L50s have "hidden" rest XP available, right?
  6. Mate, a $1000 and it has a GTX650? Forget it. Just build one yourself or ask a friend to help out. For that kind of money it should have a GTX670 or similar. Also, as it has been mentioned: SSD FTW. Try not to buy some random SSD though.
  7. That's exactly what I thought when I started to play. Need meant to me "I would like to have it." and greed meant "I freaking want it.". So I kept needing "politely" until my face got removed by other players. And I think it not polite to ask stuff like "Hey guys, may I need on it for companion?" because, you know, everyone has several companions. Just freaking greed and that's it. You may get it. Or just level up a char in the class for which you want to grab gear for. Go in and need. Nobody can say a word. On the other hand, and people's opinion may differ on this, I see nothing wrong needing on stuff that is your class even when you are grossly over-geared and you obviously don't need it. It's your class after all and you are doing the content. Of course, this is all for PUGs. If you are with friends then you probably know them well enough to come forward with looting for companions and whatnot. But that's different.
  8. If we had no pure DPS classes then this problem would be FAR LESS pronounced. They really should at least CONSIDER giving all pure DPS classes a tank tree. Many people would rather not level specifically a tank character only to be able to play. But I'm sure many peeps would consider respeccing instead of waiting for hours. It would take a while for people to get into tanking but hey, you have to start somewhere. Or... they could allow changing advanced classes. I'd prefer an added tank tree though. Or make companions viable tanks (huge on-demand threat generation and more survivability).
  9. I support this! It's a freaking pain to get weapons for various companions, e.g., to get a pistol with cunning for Vette or Quinn. One has to spend a lot of money for no justifiable reason only to move the freaking attachments from a rifle with cunning attachments to a moddable pistol that can be used by them. Good idea!
  10. Subscribers also have to pay. Well, at least several moods are locked for me. Never been F2P.
  11. Crushing? Says it's "entering maintenance mode' how awesome. Dunno if it's a crash or not but some info would have been nice.
  12. I don't think the Republic would allow BHs in their ranks. I could imagine some class that would be similar to a US Marshal. But we already have Jedi that kind of fill the role. A republic agent would be logical though. And why no imperial trooper?
  13. I'm also looking for this info. Have no idea if they stack with other bonuses or not. No info. I GUESS it would gladly allow me to use it up. But would it work?
  14. I can say that my crits on slicing are sub par in number. Over a 100 missions I got maybe 2 or 3 cirts. I guess I crit when I get advanced neural whatnot, right? Yesterday I got angry and dropped slicing entirely. Went for treasure hunting for a change. Perhaps that one is not nerfed to oblivion. I really liked slicing. BTW, that is with all comps at 10k affection (except for the droid, standing at 7k).
  15. Thrawn Trilogy... fingers crossed
  16. Yeah. Bikes take forever to appear, strange lags etc.
  17. It's not that you have anything to lose going to a PVP area. In PVP there's no equipment wear. People can't loot you. Worst thing that could happen to you is that you have to go in several times and lose, say, 15 minutes. That's it. There are no consequences. Unless you feel ashamed that you get owned but why would you care about it when you do not PVP?
  18. Still happening. We did it at dawn and four of us didn't get the commendations. Major annoyance, especially considering that we had to queue for people several times due to rage quits (SOA platform jumping sequence fails). Filed a ticket, I'm wondering how soon I get an answer. Hope for the best, dunno.
  19. So, yesterday we failed miserably with Karagga's Palace. The group consisted of peeps with zero puzzle experience, myself included. So, we quickly looked it up, tried a few rotations and started to take on the boss. I tried my best and a guildie also tried it but we still wiped 3 times. OFC peeps left inbetween tries and we had to gather other folks. Anyways, the groups insisted on putting one man on the controls AND not moving the robot (it had to stay on the right, in its initial position) IMHO, 1 manning the consoles with a marauder AND not moving the robot AND succeeding is not possible. Well, perhaps with epic tanks, epic DPSs and epic healers, who knows, maybe. IMHO, it's best to put 3 peeps and move the robot from right to mid and back again to right then start over. So what do you think. Is it possible to 1-man the controls and NOT move the robot and still win? I can't see how. I still feel guilty about this since it obviously seemed that I failed the group but come on, is there any reality to such scenario?
  20. When you are kicked it's not obvious that everyone voted against you. I got accused several times, told that now I was on ignore after someone got kicked. Not everyone has to vote for kick for you to get kicked.
  21. It can be annoying. You know that boss in Lost Island that sits in a cage? It's the one after the robot. I have never been in a group that would have done. Not once. Prolly there are several others (I probably don't even know about) in other FPs as well. There's the one where you take down a computer core (the one with two huge guns), and at some point you pass a boss, a robot standing in your way and there's a console nearby. I have never been in a group that took down that monster. It's always skipped. Or that big worm boss in the Foundry (when you travel between buildings in the open). One more thing: whoever came up with that freaking robot boss in Lost Island should be shipped to Syberia ASAP. The hardest FP boss ever. The good doctor Lorrik is nothing compared to that freaking robot. Especially for melee, that robot sucks butt. Once you beat it with the PUG you can be 97% sure you'll see loot from Lorrik.
