  1. Ninja looting could be eliminated by introducing new needing/binding mechanisms: need for self - item gets bound to self need for companion - item gets bound to companion standard need - item behaves as usual (but it's a lower level need than need for self/comp) pass and also make items self/comp needed unsellable also, order of need weight: need for self > need for companion > standard need > pass I'm not saying this should be done but this would only leave absolute jerks in the picture (who need to make you miserable but could not profit otherwise from having done so.)
  2. Pet a dog. Get a girlfriend. If already have one: pay more attention to her.
  3. Perhaps they just want the FP done. If you kick a player (especially a tank or healer) you may have to wait around unless it's a tactical FP. Actually, for old FP sometimes you have to wait around even if you are missing a DPS.
  4. Yeah, there are several missions that I take then have to drop half-done like the speeder unlocks. They take up the space and just have to abandon them routinely. Same for lower level weeklies and dailies. I'm also no longer keeping the PVP missions for the same reason. In the past I used to queue for PVP while doing dailies. Not anymore. I don't want the missions to take up the mission space.
  5. Ninja looters, smart asses who try to tell you how to do your role when they are undergeared and suck, rushers (**** skip PLZ right fking now), boss skippers, content skippers (when it would take 5 seconds to take down the trash and they go around for half a minute just so they don't have to fight). People actually go to great efforts to skip MEANINGLESS trash. Not talking about large groups but 1-2 enemies. Biggest laugh: a 14k HP healer scolds me for throwing an off-heal with my 40k+ mostly 180 merc in an L50 FP (which I did to just help out peeps and to pass time) saying "you should concentrate on damage". **** you!
  6. European servers are for europeans. Europeans live in european countries. European countries are, well, in Europe. Europe has a population over 700M. The US has over 300M. (And even if you restrict the number strictly to the EU itself, which you shouldn't, the population is still in excess of 500M. But the game is not restricted to the EU.). I'm not saying Europe is more important but it certainly represents a significant player base.
  7. Well, we could jump forward an era... I mean it's not like we should wait 10 years for another SW game to come out and allow only then later SW history to be implemented. Should happen in this game.
  8. I'd start with these unless you are into Old Republic / Rise of the Empire eras: Splinter of the Mind's Eye, Thrawn Trilogy
  9. May the hate be with you. After you. Do not fail me again! When I left you, I was but the learner, now I am the master. Or simply: UN-LIMITEEEEEEED-POWWWAAH!!
  10. Cloud City (if it's okay to choose a later era). If I had to choose a place in the game then the Vertical City.
  11. You mean Thrawn does not exist? You've gotta be fking kidding me.
  12. I think the confusion may have been caused by the other reward. We also got 500CC earlier this month for being subscribed and it seem peeps may have thought that it was somehow connected to the early access as well. The two awards were also mentioned together several times so it may have confused people (into believing that there are two requirements for early access).
  13. Guild looking for new players! CCM BOSS 1/3 DOWN! Serious peeps only! (Master loot set at all times.)
  14. It seems to me that the true source of profit is free crafting. The crafter advertises they craft for mats at no fee. You trade the crafter, give them the mats, get the item instantly (pre-made or pre-purchased by the crafter) and then the crafter makes a new item: if they not crit on it they just repeat the process above, if they crit on it (make two items succesfully) then they just made a nice profit, possibly millions if it's a 31/34 item. So the crafter might as well sell everything at crafting price, perhaps even cheaper than it costs to actually craft.
  15. There was a major update which also affected skills (perhaps even skill levels have been changed) and I guess they want to prevent any kind of illegal configurations and possible bugs so they refunded all the skillpoints and you can reallocate them accoridng to the current rules.
  16. What the title says. I mean seriously. We have so many weeklies and dailies (no complaint there) that they actually fill up the log. E.g. the bike missions alone take up like 5 entries.
  17. Just wondering if anyone plays this game without having ever seen any of the associated movies, including the animated series?
  18. - remove group queue from non-ranked - allow queuing for both ranked and non-ranked at the same time for solo players - single bracket - allow for gear-set switching (quick swap between various PVP and PVE sets, these slots would also "carry" the items, kind of serve as inventory) Something else: would be awesome to have an indicator on the OP group list that would show whether a player is in line of sight or not (currently it's only visible whether the player is within distance).
  19. I mean there was no agreement as to how looting would be conducted. It's not like the leader called for rolls or anything like that. True, almost nobody ever clicked need but I truly needed the items. So am I a ninja if I need (relatively often) when basically everyone chooses greed? Heck, even if others need I could, IMHO, still need on stuff that are useble by my char. What do you think?
  20. I could Voidstar whole day. The most entertaining PVP map I have ever played. I just love it somehow. Arenas: would be okay if matches started quicker.
  21. Been a problem (for me) since launch. Should have asked earlier So, how can you tell who the leader is? Talking about non-OPS groups.
  22. The funniest character I have ever seen was an operative who queued as a healer. Well, we did The False Emperor HM and wiped relatively early as the guy's greatest heal was maybe 750 HP every few seconds. He was in all green (okay, maybe he had 1 blue on him) and didn't understand what our problem was "I'm doing my best.". I mean it was a HM FP. He had no idea about healing. He was like "I have never healed before. What if I tried? Let's start the experiment in a HM FP. Makes sense..." Would have been epic if he did that in an OP. Although peeps would probably check his gear.
  23. I'm glad someone is having fun. Addition: I still don't understand what the event is about even though I have already done several dailies on Ilum. I'm not sure where or what the event part is
  24. Well, SWG felt huge. Truly huge. Wast areas that one could travel through for quite a long time. I'm really not sure exactly how long it took to get from one end of the map to the other but I'm quite sure it was on the order of 10s of minutes. For me, that was the most important factor. There was a "dangerous distant unknown" feel to certain areas. Also, since SWG had player housing and true "galactic centers" crowded with real people SWG felt more alive than SWTOR. It also had real crafting. SWTOR feels extremely artificial. Well, Tatooine is relatively cool but look at Corellia. Feels like a dead and abandoned place.
  25. I can feel your anger. It gives you focus. It makes you stronger. Yeah, screw the maintenance.
