  1. Maybe it is do to getting the install from a certain place. Like say if you got it through the Origin or off a disk other than from this main site here. You may get a better answer in the Support section about it. EDIT: or the ^ above ^ posting that got in while I was typing. Also do not worry about the UTorrent. They will not cancel anything just because you have an image of the icon for it on your machine in that picture.
  2. There were three versions of this on the Gamescon Cantina Tour Thumbdrive. Not sure if it is one of those or a fourth version from those three. I asked on that Dulfy Posting to see exactly if anyone knows.
  3. The main reason I do not purchase things in the Cartel Market is because of their Value. Looking at the price they charge us for things and what the value of such things normally are in and used to be in games, they are really over pricing almost all of it. The only things I really used my coins for were a few select Character Perks and the Account Wide Cargo Hold. That is it. I refuse to pay are $10 for a suit of armor or $20 just for a Companion. Heck the cost of the expansion was $10 for subs and $20 for F2P. Even if we would have had a real expansion that had a lot more content and price between $40 to $60 the value of the individual items on the Cartel Market compared to the value of an expansion is just not right. Call me old-school but I preferred when the content we bought was all packaged in the Expansion we paid for. Now the Expansions are just being broken down and the content that we normally see in them is being sold separately at a really high inflated price. It is like the days of real expansions are fading away to where we will have to purchase every little bit of content piece by piece. Really though I would buy things off the Cartel Market if they would just lower the prices a bit to a more reasonable value. Other than that it is just not worth it. I have around 5000 coins or so give or take a few 100 from what I purchased through my my subscription. I sort of have not looked at my coins in a while. I also refuse to gamble as well. I am Anti-Packs. Like I mentioned above. If they would drop the prices a lot I would actually buy some of that stuff. I just do not see the value for it at the prices they listed. So true. I think those days are gone for this game. Pretty much the reason why I dropped my subscription to this game. The value is just not their.
  4. You know reasons like this are why I pretty much stopped grouping with people that I do not know. I really only group with friends now. I have become a lot more laid back and casual player since my earlier days and now I just mostly do solo stuff with a few exceptions. When I do group I usually just pass on everything as I really do not care about the stuff dropped. To much drama comes from things that really are not worth it. OP was in the right to need it though. The other guy was just being a drama queen about it and it is best to just leave them crying in their mothers basement. It is no fun playing alongside drama queens. Funny but not fun.
  5. That is the job of the rep. to be their forum's secretary and "communicate" to the devs what the community wants to ask. I don't suppose you expect them (the devs) to reply to every single question every single person asks in the forums? What you quoted from my posting and what you said makes no sense. Especially sense you only quoted the first line of the posting. Basically a confusing way to quote and reply. You start off by saying "that is the job of the Rep" but the quote of what I said is basically suggesting the Devs just answer more questions that the community has already asked. So it is like you are saying that the Class Rep are supposed to answer the questions and not ask them. Yet you then explain the Class Rep Job which is communicating the questions to the devs. A bit out of place if you ask me. By the way. We all know that the Class Reps are supposed to communicate to the devs. They are limited to three questions. One on PVP, one on PVE , and one on equal representation. The problem with the Class Rep Program is that it is only what the Class Rep at the time thinks should be asked based on what they gather from the community. How are we to be certain that they will even ask what the majority of their section of the community will want asked? How do we even know that they will even be active enough to do the job in the first place? Also there is a lot more questions than what they are limiting with this Class Rep Program. So far the answers we got have not been to impressive. There is still a lot of un-answered questions and concerns about the game. A lot of which are pretty old and important. What we need is more communication plain and simple. It is not hard to read through the forums and just answer questions. It does not take long to read through the forums. It does not take long to identify questions, and ones of importance. The issue is that they (BioWare and or EA) are just ignoring it and or not even taking the time to reply. So they toss our a Class rep Program and we are to think that it will improve things. Yet how well has it worked so far for its first time? Who here is really impressed with it? Do you actually think it will improve things? The best way to improve things is to just read the forums and answer the questions when they come up. Plain and simple. If they can not do that then there is something seriously wrong. Oh and by the way: No I do not expect them to answer every single question on the forum. That would be stupid. I do however expect them to answer questions though, and a lot more often than just a few selective ones per month if that. There is no guarantee that they will even answer all the questions from the Class Reps. If you look at there track record for actually answering question in these forums or just plain commenting on the forums you will see that it is hardly anything at all. Even with this new Class Rep program they just started. They need to communicate a lot more than what they have been doing. They are to hush hush.
  6. I think you all should just dump the Class Rep idea and just start answering more questions that the community ask. The more you all communicate the better things would be, no matter if the answer is good or bad. You all can not just keep ignoring the majority of questions, especially the most popular and or more important ones. Plus you should not be selective on the types of questions and subjects that you will discuss. To be so selective will only lead to more hatred. And you all should know what said about hatred. It will eventually lead you to the Dark Side. Every game company that does not do well in communicating with the community gets a bad rap from said community and those that do well end up having a better reputation. It could also greatly affect the success of a game. Right now BioWare, and EA for that matter, are extremely bad in communicating with the community. It is one of the more prominent issues that you all need to improve on. This Class Rep idea is not really helping and definitely not the right way to improve things. I think you all should just be more open about the things we would like to know about. Especially the stuff behind the scenes. Not matter if it is about what you all have planed or what things you all are not able to do and why. If it is good or bad, we would like to know and it would be more appreciated than not saying anything at all and leaving us all in the dark. That is how I see it.
  7. I think the game is stumbling sideways like a drunk going down the back alley of a bar about to vomit. BioWare is trying to do things that they think many people would like but at the same time doing them in a way that would make them as much money as possible from it. The result is a completely different mixed set of reactions from the community, and others watching, that people do not know what to think to the point that it makes many sick and want to hurl. Since their are so many different reactions toward what they do, good and bad, BioWare just decides to choose the ones they like no matter if it the majority or not and move on. Heck they hardly ever communicate with the community anymore. When they do it is not to answer the many questions that we have. It is mostly just to promote a new idea of theirs in hopes that people like it and will spend more money on it. So to me it is not moving backwards since they are doing things, but it defiantly not moving forward based on what they have been doing lately. It is just stumbling around all drunken like. Hopefully one day it will sober up and start to walk a straight line again, and one that is on a forward path.
  8. So true. On your last paragraph: that is a very good point. GamePlay options is what MMORPG's are about. People being able to play the game in multiple ways to fit their desired option of fun. For example. How many players out their do things like mostly Craft? How many just like to PVP, or vise verse PVE? How many players like to RP? How many like to just explore the game world? Or how many just joined this game because it was Star Wars? It is all in what people want to get out of the game and as it is right now so many people wanted to experience Space as part of this game. It is Star Wars after all and the main setting for it is Space. It is the one major thing that this game was Lacking out of the gate, even with its attempt at a Rail Shooter Mini-Game. BioWare thought that their idea would be one that most people liked and it turned out to not be hence its lack in popularity. Sure their are many that like it but not as many as the amount of people that want the 3D Free Roaming Space. It would bring so much to the game and would only help it. It definitely would give this game more options in how to enjoy it.
  9. You know why they use yellow? Because they are chicken. ROFL They are pretty much scared of the community and fear giving us any information do to the reaction they might receive from it. That is my theory on why they use yellow. On the subject of 3D Space Combat. I think that ship has sailed without us. It was just a thought in minds of a few Devs and SWTOR Devs never really started it. They are just hoping that we someday forget about the fact that someone ever mentioned the SSSP that was only just an idea and never a plan or project. If it was a true project then they would have mentioned more on it and maybe even shown some real images of it by now. Instead they only mentioned it like enough times to actually count it on one hand and look how long it has been since it was first mentioned. I pretty much gave up on the SSSP. Not even sure if it would be enough to make me resub. I will say that if they do ever make it, it will be because we never forgot about it and nagged them to much to make them give in and make something. But it will more than likely not be what we wanted. At the rate and direction they are going it would more than likely be completely dependent on the Cartel Market to do anything or experience it at all. I think the best bet for us to experience some Star Wars Space is to just wait for the new BattleFront game by DICE and hope they add in some Space Battles.
  10. I have to agree. The Cyborg character creation is a drag. When I think of Cyborg I think of what we have with this new 505 Cybernetic Set, not just a few choices in facial implants. But hey all their modeling in this game is lacking a bit so it is nothing new. At least we now have a way to look like a real Cyborg. The set looks nice. I hope to see more in the future.
  11. It is nothing compared to what we went through in SWG. He should be glad that it was only 45 minutes at most.
  12. ROFL For a minute their I though that this thread was about me. I use VectorRoll on twitter and in other games and when I saw Vector I just normally though it was directed at me. Thank god it wasn't. Kind of a messed up topic. LOL
  13. ROFL Reminds me of a Comedy Skit I heard about the Nads Hair Removal product. Seriously though even some bottles of "Diet Weak Sauce" would be better than nothing. It would definitely be better than that Overpriced Speeder.
  14. Still no love for the VIP Vendor. So I have to bring this up once more while I still can. Please BioWare give the VIP Vendor some love. If any Vendor gets an update next, it should be the VIP Vendor. One overpriced speeder for 2.5 million credits is not worth it. IT needs some. A dye, some clothing, a pet or two, heck maybe even a new animal mount or another speeder of some kind. Something to make it worth visiting. So please BioWare, give the VIP Vendor some Love.
  15. Actually even though any player can get it for 1 million credits in game, it was also part of the Deluxe Edition and Collectors Edition which players paid more for as well. BioWare may have promised to update the CE Vendor before but they actually did already once because their is Dye in there when the promise was made before it was added. Sure the CE Vendor could use a few more nicer things, but not as much as the VIP Vendor does. What ever gets added to the VIP Vendor will be accessible to CE Players as well. I say that the VIP Vendor is the one that needs something next before any other Vendor. Right now it is the most worthless vendor in the game.
